    I went to Costco to pick up some prescriptions and saw that they did have organic free range eggs. There is a limit but even with the additional cost, good to know these are carried at this location.

    My often go to Costco, it's just like every other Costco mixed with some local perks. Here you will find what most Costco's have to offer, such as your rotisserie chicken, your food court and plenty of close options. However, what differs in this Costco is the local businesses that they present such as Aslin brewery solstice brewery and some Virginia coffee roasters . I have found that I am able to find everything that I need from this Costco with reasonable prices. Some of the downsides to this Costco is that it's always busy so finding parking is a hassle. I often have to park all the way in the back and even then I'm fighting with somebody to get that spot. The entrance is near the gas station entrance so it is congested often if you don't go at the right time getting gas can take up to 10 minutes, I have found the best times are, opening to noon, and near closing. I don't really interact with the staff since I use the self checkout option however, the staff has been helpful when I am looking for something particular. The ambience is just like any other Costco very busy. Lots of people walking around and shopping. The store is kept clean and well lit and I have never felt like I wasn't able to complete my purchases. it's a good local store and as far as Costco stores go, it meets my expectations.

    This is my second time at this location. The main parking lot is always packed and very congested with the Costco gas station feeding into that parking lot. It's always best to park on the side where it is less congested in there are many more spaces. Upon entering the store, the entrances or narrow. Once inside, you'll find huge ceilings and isles of merchandise and food, however, the aisle ways are very narrow making it very tough too navigate when the store is crowded. The checkout system is decent, although the self check out moves a lot faster and the ladies there are much more helpful than the regular check out.

    This location stays packed no matter the time of day. The parking lot is always full, like super full. I would suggest if you need to go inside, do that first and then if you need to get gas do that last. The setup is similar to most locations so it is easy to find exactly what you are looking for. Lines can be long but tend to move rather efficiently.

    UPDATE: Adding Corn to the DO NOT BUY list at Costco Sterling. We didn't notice them until after we boiled a few and took a bite out of them, they tasted little bitter and funny tasting. We all spit it out. I googled it later, and looked at the rest of the package ... appears to be white mold. Gross!

    The Sterling store is terrific in every way! The meats are the best around and there are great selections of all food and clothing as well.

    I started coming to Sam's Club once I realized how advanced they are and no crowds (compared to…read moreCostco). They are very advanced, with the app, so I pretty much have zero interaction with staff...except at the exit. Not sure where to even start! They pretty much carry everything in bulk, similar to Costco, but they don't have as much variety. -Shopping: There is an option to use "Scan & Go" on the app by scanning all the items while shopping (or at the end...). Once completed, there is a designated "check out" area (instead of checkout lane) and payment is made directly through the app and VOILA, done! The exit arches have cameras that capture the items in the cart and match to the receipt, which means someone does not have to count the items manually. There is also a separate self-checkout area where we can use their scanner to scan the items and pay accordingly. -Gas pump: There is an option on the app under "Fuel" to scan the QR code on the pump, select the correct payment option and follow the instructions to fill gas. So EASY! There is also the old school way of scanning the membership card. I will no longer use the optical department as no one working when I'm at the club and and they don't know which eye benefit providers they accept and provide incorrect information. I won't even go into our experience, otherwise I'd have to lower the stars. They also have a small food court, which has the basic inexpensive foods such as pizza, hot dog, soft serve, etc. They do sell the infamous $4.99 rotisserie chicken. The bakery is large, but I haven't purchased any of their cakes, so I can't speak to those. The croissants are good though! There is plenty of parking available dedicated solely to Sam's Club, even if they are next to Walmart.

    Clowns or Crooks - BOTH…read more I only needed two boxes of flooring for a small job. I needed it to match perfectly and since I purchased the other flooring here (for an entire level of the house) I felt this would be the best best for the small job to obtain the match. Here is the Crooks part - even though it was a very small order I was charged the same shipping fee as if it were a large order. So, as I see it they combine multiple small orders and make money hand over fist by screwing the customer (a repeat customer at that!). No amount of negotiation would change their mind. Now for the Clowns part. I get the email that my order is ready for pickup at the Dulles location. I go there and the person helping me has no idea about the order "I don't know anything about it" says he. I give him the name on the order telling him it's for my house. He says no, I need the name of the company it's for. I say again...I bought it for my house. I BOUGHT IT. Not a company. ME. I show him the email, he no one by that name works here and calls the MD location to try to find out something about the order and (now 20 min later) finally enlists the help of another clueless person who also knows nothing about the order and tells me it's not here. Luckily he shows Suzanne the paperwork and she says "Yeah, it's right over there". Numbskull 2 goes and puts eyes on the order. Tells me it is here and to drive around back past the yellow ramp to the second open bay and it will be brought to me. I follow his instruction and after 5 min of watching some guy drive a forklift around (through all his back and forth I kept saying to myself OK, he's getting my order). The forklift driver finally stops and asks if he can help me. I tell him I'm here to pick up an order. He says did they give you a ticket? I say no, I was told to drive back here past the yellow ramp to the second open bay door so, here I am. He is all puzzled and mutters something about no ticket. Another 5 min go by and he shows up with the order. All totaled, somewhere just shy of 45 min for a simple task that should have taken at most 10 min. Hat's off to Suzanne who saved the day for if she were not there I would have had no choice but to return home empty handed due to the incompetency of the other two workers. We called this sort of thing a Charlie Foxtrot in the Army. And that's exactly what this place is. A Charlie Foxtrot.

I wish I had found them at the start of our project, as I would have tried to get everything from this store. The staff was extremely accommodating, answering my many questions via email, text, and phone. They went out of their way to find me samples of items flooring, coordinate colors, and visualize design. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I was so excited to remodel our home, and they helped it to be stress-free. I appreciate their timeliness in getting the products we needed as well.

I was looking for the item when an employee came to pull the item and as it wasn't there she cancelled my order. I then went to the front and talked to a different employee who looked up the item to see if it was available elsewhere local to me. It was but instead of calling them (over Christmas) I ordered the item then and there. However I couldn't add the coupon as it was no longer offered to me (or back in my account) since they had just cancelled the order. The employee told me that when I went to pick up the order I could ask them if they could apply the discount I should have got as there was a way to do that and they would do it for me at their store if that was the case. When I got to the other store (the next day) to pick up my order I asked to speak to a manager. She came and didn't even acknowledge me as waiting before helping an employee who was on a register first. A bad start. When she came to me I told her the story and she said we don't do adjustments and then proceeded to tell what what a long process it would be for them to apply the coupon I didn't get. She said is it really worth the effort for the amount I was going to get back. I calmly replied 'apparently it isn't to you'. And she didn't reply!! I left. I will not shop in that store again. I went back to the first store to tell them the story and they apologized more than once for the other stores behavior. They told me that the company gives discounts to teachers etc. which can be a lot less than the money I was getting off with the coupon.

    I took 3 rings to them, A ring my husband bought me at…read moreJarad for my birthday that needed to be sized an estate ring to be appraised and resized that was handed down to me A brand new sapphire ring, that when upon purchasing and being shipped to me, the stone was loose when I opened the box, the ring had fallen out of the slot in the box and I believe that's how it happened. It's not an expensive ring, so I simply needed the prongs tightened, and asked if the jeweler could do it while I look around, the reply was, no, he's an apprentice we have to send it out with the other rings. Okay, I leave my rings with them, after paying a bill close to $300 for an appraisal, 2 rings to be resized and a prong tightened. I get my unwearable estate ring back, as it has tiny slivers of gold chipped up on the inside of the ring, and when sliding side to side, picked at my skin to irritation. This was done with their clamps as they resized it, clipping it hard on the laced roped gold. I was in tears with the way my ring was mishandled, as it is a piece that was very dear to me. They took my inexpensive brand new never worn ring, and put it through a dipping process and charged me $100 for things never mentioned or requested, I only need a prong tightened. The 3rd ring bought at Jarad came in fine. As I voiced my displeasure, and told them, no one asked for them to dip the ring that only needed a prong tightened, the management there couldn't comprehend, I didn't ask for anything but the prongs tightened, and IF I was told they were going to do other things to my ring, and had the freedom to choose if I wanted to do all these other things to this ring, but was never given the choice. This was the first issue I had, and called Jared customer service (what a experience that was to get a person) when I finally got a person, I was sorryed to death, with that being their only accomplishment. After weeks of this kind of experience with customer service, they finally escalate, and a woman by the name of Sherry, 330-668-5514 extension 300332 (your welcome), called, more weeks go by, and a phone call in between to ask if I wanted them to take another crack at my estate ring, I replied absolutely not, however they are more than welcome to inspect the damage they did to it, before I take it to an experienced jeweler to get repaired and appraised. She said I'll get back to you. She called me during Easter worship on good Friday, as we were with our relatives and church as my cousin is the pastor. This is not the time to discuss business. I returned her call, and was told, since I am taking my ring to a reputable jeweler, instead of putting this precious piece back into their hands, they can't do anything about it. Need I say, find another jewelry store??

They said I didn't purchase the warranty, so they can't do anything. I said I paid a lot of money for both, so the store manager, Maya, said she'd call me back after talking to customer service. She never called, so I called the store back. They said they'd leave her a message-another few days passed. Still no reply. Stay away from this store. They sell cheap material for a high price, try to get you to buy a warranty, then will not help you even replace/repair them!
