Clowns or Crooks - BOTH I only needed two boxes of flooring for a small job. I needed it to match perfectly and since I purchased the other flooring here (for an entire level of the house) I felt this would be the best best for the small job to obtain the match. Here is the Crooks part - even though it was a very small order I was charged the same shipping fee as if it were a large order. So, as I see it they combine multiple small orders and make money hand over fist by screwing the customer (a repeat customer at that!). No amount of negotiation would change their mind. Now for the Clowns part. I get the email that my order is ready for pickup at the Dulles location. I go there and the person helping me has no idea about the order "I don't know anything about it" says he. I give him the name on the order telling him it's for my house. He says no, I need the name of the company it's for. I say again...I bought it for my house. I BOUGHT IT. Not a company. ME. I show him the email, he no one by that name works here and calls the MD location to try to find out something about the order and (now 20 min later) finally enlists the help of another clueless person who also knows nothing about the order and tells me it's not here. Luckily he shows Suzanne the paperwork and she says "Yeah, it's right over there". Numbskull 2 goes and puts eyes on the order. Tells me it is here and to drive around back past the yellow ramp to the second open bay and it will be brought to me. I follow his instruction and after 5 min of watching some guy drive a forklift around (through all his back and forth I kept saying to myself OK, he's getting my order). The forklift driver finally stops and asks if he can help me. I tell him I'm here to pick up an order. He says did they give you a ticket? I say no, I was told to drive back here past the yellow ramp to the second open bay door so, here I am. He is all puzzled and mutters something about no ticket. Another 5 min go by and he shows up with the order. All totaled, somewhere just shy of 45 min for a simple task that should have taken at most 10 min. Hat's off to Suzanne who saved the day for if she were not there I would have had no choice but to return home empty handed due to the incompetency of the other two workers. We called this sort of thing a Charlie Foxtrot in the Army. And that's exactly what this place is. A Charlie Foxtrot. read more

We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and two bathrooms. I had an excellent experience with Suzanne and Louisa at ProSource for the purchase of our kitchen flooring and bathroom vanity. I wish I had found them at the start of our project, as I would have tried to get everything from this store. The staff was extremely accommodating, answering my many questions via email, text, and phone. They went out of their way to find me samples of items flooring, coordinate colors, and visualize design. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I was so excited to remodel our home, and they helped it to be stress-free. I appreciate their timeliness in getting the products we needed as well. read more

I'm a contractor who worked with this location for many years sending them clients, unfortunately this place is going down hill in customer relations and products way too many mistakes and issues to list, only reason I'm giving them one star is because of their designer LeeLee who is way overworked and I hope she will leave like many other designers did and find a better place where she's more respected. read more

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! Where do I begin. My wife and I finished our 1400 sq basement and made the massive mistake of hiring this company through our contractors for our bar cabinets and carpet throughout. EVERYTHING THAT COULD GO WRONG, WENT WRONG. Twice this company with no regret or empathy, screwed up the order on very expensive cabinets which pushed the project back 1 MONTH which costed our contractors a large sum of money for other projects and significantly delayed our project. This company's lack of professionalism and customer service was proven again as they screwed up which should be the simple order of getting the right amount of square feet of carpet. Yet again, they screwed up the order and had to push the project back again. The WORST PART OF ALL was this company showed their true colors by ignoring our contractors phone calls to make this right and help us then, got aggressive with my wife and I on the phone trying to blame us! THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. They have ZERO accountability, no professionalism, could care less about you as a customer and most importantly the owner - Yali is despicable and a pathetic example of the loose word "business owner" of a horrible franchise. On top of that her employee, Gene is rude, lacks the basic understanding of customer service and participates in what most would deem unethical business practices by ignoring phone calls and not returning emails to get customers what they ordered. Sold us 2 defective carpets for the same client. Not only have they not refunded us on the cost for having to re-installed defective carpet, but they are still charging us for the second defective carpet. How can you sell defective carpet, and expect to stay in business. read more

First time customer. Last time I will do business with them. They screwed me out of hundreds of dollars, admitted fault, but left me with the bill. I ordered a few thousand pounds of mortar from Prosource for a tile job that I am working on. Scotty was my sales rep. Scotty told me the order would be in on Thursday of the next week. I called before coming to pick it up, only to find out that it had not come in yet. He told me it would be 1 week late. The order did come in a week later, and I decided to pick it up on the next Monday. Monday rolls around. There is a fair amount of snow outside, so I call at 10:30am to make sure they were still open despite the snow, and that my order is indeed ready. Scotty said everything is ready and to make sure I was there by 2pm. I told him I would be there soon. I rented a truck, collected my crew, and carefully made my way there through the snow. I arrived at 12:00pm. The place is dark. No one is there. I called their phone number and no one answered. There was no sign saying they closed early. Scotty did not call me to tell me they closing even earlier, even though he knew I was coming and we had just spoken an hour and a half ago. I called every number I could find, and waited for an hour in the parking lot to see if maybe they were just out to lunch or something.... Nothing. It turns out they closed early because of the snow. Scotty failed to mention this to me, so now I am out several hundred dollars for the truck and crew, and I lost the whole afternoon. I called the next day to explain how Scotty epicly screwed me over and to see if they were willing to offer any sort of discount to make right on their mistake. They were not willing to do anything at all. Scotty admitted that it was his mistake, but is perfectly happy letting me pay for that mistake. This is absolutely unbelievable. This is no way to treat a customer and is not an honest way to do business. Save your self some time/money and do not do business with this company. read more

We spent a lot of money here to have our project held up multiple times due to order error on behalf of ProSource. After the first error (which we noticed after the wood was delivered to our home, was not identified by them) they re-ordered the product and had it shipped over night to us (we appreciated that-reasonable response). Half of what sent was incorrect yet again. This time, they re-ordered, but now said was a "special order" and we have to wait 2 weeks for the wood to come in. After expressing our concern, the item all of a sudden could arrive in a few days. The wood came in a day after they informed us it would and we were told it now needed to be stained because it wasn't the right shade. We told them we wanted the wood we paid for- the correct color from the company like half the wood we have already received. I was told I am getting what I paid for. They presented the stained wood and it was not the right color. Further, it was not even the same size or same wood we need. We were told they could not guarantee if they re-ordered it that it would be the correct color (what?!?) and they weren't re-ordering again so that our project isn't held up (Ha! it's been held up). We are now working on getting the order placed correctly for the FOURTH time. I asked for the contact information for a manager at least 3 times and was ignored!
