I regret choosing this company for my kitchen rebuild after a flood. Despite their polite and…read moreseemingly detail-oriented approach at first, their work did not meet the standards expected for a high-quality kitchen project. When mistakes were made, they were not acknowledged or corrected but instead covered up, and their response quickly turned unprofessional. Some of the major issues included: Design flaws that resulted in unworkable solutions, which Onur refused to rectify. Poor attention to detail in measuring, planning, and managing the project, turning what should have been a 4-5 day job into a frustrating two-month ordeal. Installation problems that remain unresolved because Onur refuses to take responsibility. Two costly issues still unresolved: A custom-built laundry room that wasn't designed to be large enough to properly cover the existing washer and dryer and a floor-to-ceiling swing-out pantry cabinet that, despite being shown with back shelves in the original design, was delivered without them--something Onur insists is "normal," even though my previous pantry of the same style included shelves. So its "normal" for the shelves to swing out and provide access to no shelves and more storage?!?!? I have included pic of these two example but have many more of other details that just don't look good up close. Unfortunately, I've been left with no choice but to hire another company to fix their mistakes. I would strongly caution others to think twice before working with this company. It was a very negative and frustrating experience.

Horrible customer service and products. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more We ordered very large master bathroom vanity cabinets from Rick in the Chantilly VA location Nov 2022, the cabinets were delivered on time, early Jan 2023. First, the delivery company was very unprofessional and rude. They proceeded to tell me that Cabinet Discounters should have told me that they will only leave them in the garage, which I said I was never told that and it's winter and I do not want them to warp. They ended up leaving the cabinets in the middle of my dining room...6 extremely large boxes. My contractor attempted to install them a few days later and notice one of the doors was not the same design as the rest of the doors. We also noticed a drawer was broken and several panels were warped and not able to align. We called Rick, sent pictures and he ordered the "correct" panel (which when rec'd, was a different color, therefore we had to re-order again). After much back and forth with Rick and he telling me that we will have to pay for someone to come out and "fix" their issue, Rick then came out to our house to see if he can align the cabinets and also to assess the issues. He confirmed there were major issues with the panels and that the doors were warped, etc. Rick took pictures and was supposed to write up what he observed and what was being orders so that we knew what deliveries to expect. We never rec'd a write up from Rick... we then proceeded with in the next few weeks to get 3 additional shipments of panels that were ordered. Again, when we received the additional panels, one broken (which again we had to have another replacement). Once ALL replacement doors were recd, we had our contractor come back (additional cost to us) to attempt to reinstall the 6 panels. Our contractor noticed some of the "new" panels are longer than other, some are wider than others, and again some appear to be warped since they cannot close flush. Again, he was unable to be aligned some cabinets. We have sent emails, made phone calls, Rick has told us that the manufacture is going to call us back, #homecrest and we haven't heard from anyone. It's been over two months now that we have had cabinets installed (without panels), over half of the panels are sitting in my hallway, paid in FULL, paid our contractor additional money in an attempt to "reinstall" the cabinets two separate times. We have had a master bath completely renovated and been waiting two months to be able to use our cabinets. This is horrible customer service, horrible products. They haven't acknowledged the time, money and inconvenience this has caused. They have completely gone silent.

It was a no brainer to choose them. When it comes to the work itself, the craftsmanship was very good, the cuts are so clean and everything looks amazing. They did very fast work without sacrificing quality. The only areas for improvement I would say they could have are: - Communication during the days of the project, so you know without having to ask when they are coming, leaving, what the progress is, etc. - Ensuring when they put furniture and things back that they pay attention to things like hooking up HDMIs back to the correct places - Doing a better job of cleanup -- they left behind a TON of dust coating everything, sawdust in my basement that I presume blew in from leaving the garage entrance open where they were working, cans/water bottles left behind - Building in measurement/space for lower flooring to not leave a gap in the trim; they came back and did some caulking after I had a water/rain issue, but it still doesn't look as good -- I wish that their molding/trim solution filled the big gaps and I'm going to have to find a way to do that myself To their credit, they were very fast and responsive when I had a water issue and came back out the next day. I also had a crack in my basement ceiling where something pounded through or pounded the drywall loose from the flooring above being done, and they credited me enough money back to be able to have my handyman fix it. Overall, I would definitely use DFD again.

We met with Patrick and he kindly walked us around the store explaining the differences in both quality and pricing for the cabinets in the showroom. We were looking for something that was semi-custom and had a very strict "do not exceed" budget in mind. After some managing of expectations vs. budget and multiple price quotes from Patrick showing us our options my wife and I decided on a beautiful white cabinet that was actually RTA but with Patricks help we were able to achieve a high-end/customer look. It had all soft close doors, was a solid wood box and had a classic style at a great price point. The delivery and installation was quick and easy. They showed up on time and cleaned up well when they were done. I worked with the foreman on the punch list and the word "no" or any indication of pushback never came out of his mouth. They replaced a door because of a scratch in the face, after it was replaced I sent a picture of the handle that didn't exactly look centered, they quickly came out and replaced it again....no haggle type questions asked. The service was great, the pricing was very competitive and my wife couldn't be happier with her new kitchen! Absolute Negligence, Property Damage, and Zero Accountability!!! I am not one to post negative…read morereviews ever and always try to resolve any issues with the business directly. This experience has honestly been the worst experience I have had with a business so I feel I need to share with other consumers. We purchased all new kitchen appliances from Bray & Scarff and spent approximately $8,500. From the very beginning, this experience has been a nightmare. Nearly every appliance delivered was damaged, forcing us to reject multiple deliveries and wait for replacements. This alone caused weeks of disruption and frustration. The worst issue, however, was the complete incompetence of their installer. When installing our new refrigerator, the installer failed to properly connect the water line, causing an active leak that went unnoticed for 2-3 weeks. By the time we discovered it, significant damage had already occurred to our home. Bray & Scarff sent someone to inspect the damage and acknowledged the issue, stating they would submit a claim to their insurance carrier, Travelers. That is where the accountability ended. Travelers has been unresponsive, dismissive, and obstructive. Phone calls go unanswered, and we are repeatedly told to file a claim with our own homeowners insurance instead -- despite this damage being caused by Bray & Scarff's installer. This would unfairly raise our insurance premiums and shift responsibility away from the party that caused the damage. The combination of damaged products, negligent installation, property damage, and insurance runaround is unacceptable. We trusted Bray & Scarff with a major home purchase and were met with carelessness and refusal to take responsibility when it mattered most. If you value your home, your time, or your peace of mind, do not use Bray & Scarff. We are now exploring formal complaints and legal options.
