We recently started the project of remodeling our 30 year old kitchen. After hearing kitchen remodeling horror stories from many people, we were not looking forward to this experience. We talked to several contractors, but from our first consultation with John Canay of My Kitchen & Bath it was obvious that he approached remodeling in a different way. After our second meeting we signed with John having no doubt our remodeling would be in good hands with him. John told us he believes in working out every detail up front so that there are no surprises as the job progresses. He schedules a crew and insures all materials are available before the start date. The crew he assigns is dedicated to that one project and is there every day until the job is done, which is why they can complete the work so quickly. He visited our house and listened to our ideas and then provided guidance to help us flesh out our kitchen design from lighting to cabinets to counter tops to floor. Our job is now complete and we have the kitchen of our dreams. That kitchen was complete 3 weeks from the morning the crew first arrived at our door to start tearing out the old cabinets. And the work is absolutely beautiful. The crew chief handling our job was a craftsman of the old school who took immense pride in getting his work perfect, every little detail. During the job he constantly consulted with us over any questions or choices that came up so that we ended up with the exact kitchen we wanted. It is a showcase kitchen we sit and admire every day. And it was done with no stress or hassle. Several of our neighbors and friends are now using My Kitchen & Bath after seeing our kitchen. MY Kitchen & Bath performed full remodeling in our kitchen. As a result, we are very pleased with the work. From beginning to the end, it was a very well organized project. They changed our floor, cabinets, countertop, backsplash and added recessed lights. They had numerous material options. We were very satisfied with what we got. Our designer, Cemil was very helpful during the design process and was realistic with us about what would/would not work based on the space we had to work with.. My kitchen and bath team was very responsive to our emails for questions and concerns. Even about the smallest change, they kept us posted. They were on the contract schedule and completed the project 1 week earlier than what said on the contract. The workers were on the job each day from start to finish. They were very helpful, respectful and nice. Every morning, they covered the floor and the walls with plastics and blankets and at the end of the they cleaned all related areas. They were always on time. Craftsmanship was excellent. I felt very comfortable during the project. They also took care of little things that were not required but made the look complete. Remodel of Basement Bathroom My Wife and I decided that it was time to remodel our basement guest bathroom. We met with several contractors and in the end decided that My Kitchen & Bath was the perfect company for the job. There were a couple of factors that made us choose My Kitchen & Bath which includes, being in business since 1994, class-A licensed contractors, they DO NOT sub contract (big one for me), and they're local. The job took about 6 weeks from demo to finish. During the whole process the remodeling team and our designer, Cemil was extremely professional and courteous, providing updates every step of the way. They truly care about the clients experience and do anything to help meet your needs. I purchased a "fixer upper" that ended up needing a lot more fixing than expected. I had multiple estimates and did a lot of research on local remodeling companies. I was referred to My Kitchen & Bath by a neighbor of mine who has a similar layout to her home. We needed our 3 bathrooms remodeled ( Master, Guest, and Powder Room) and were dreading the remodeling chaos of all three projects. Luckily, My Kitchen & Bath made setting up/planning for all three projects extremely easy and we got to pick out all of our materials for all three projects in one appointment. However, that did get a little stressful in the beginning but after we had our first set of materials picked it was easier to select things for our other bathrooms, making our three spaces similar with seperate and unique touches. Our first project was our master and as soon as the project was finished to our liking then second project would start, and after the guest was our powder room. She listened to all of my ideas and totally transformed my old outdated kitchen into a beautiful and modern looking one. She even made it happen under budget! My husband and I were very pleased with My Kitchen & Bath. Things turned out great and everything was done within the time that we were told. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up each day, which made coming home to a remodeling project much easier and a lot less stressful. John was a great designer to work with and really helped guide us through the whole remodeling process. When we first picked out our backsplash I thought it was the perfect tile to match our countertops, when I had returned home from work and saw our new backsplash put in, I was devastated by how awful they looked together. I love my new kitchen. Upon searching for weeks to find a company to remodel my kitchen,I came across this company and thought I'll give it a try. These guys are absolutely awesome. Their scheduling was easy, they were on time and the price was lower than the competitors. I hired them to remodel my kitchen and they even install my brand new appliances for free of charge. They cover my carpets and my walls to make sure that there won't be a mess and they finished the job in four days. Amazing! When I decided to sell my condo I knew that I was going to need some upgrades. I had two bathrooms that came straight out of the 80s that needed a lot of help. This was the most positive experience we have ever had! They arrived ON TIME for the estimate. He sat and gave us an estimate immediately-no waiting like most others. We went out and was given lots of assistance in planning out the bathroom. They told us the day they would start. Yes they started on the day & time they said they would.
