I have been going back and forth with Centricity, the warranty company almost daily for 3 weeks with no resolution in sight. Every time I call, I am told a completely different story. Reaching out to B & S management for support and help has proved equally frustrating. They claim they cannot help since the warranty is in my name. B & S is the company that sold me the warranty, so they should be trying to help in some capactiy. Crystal, in upper management literally said to me "I deal with these complaints all day." It is clear she has become immune to helping her customers. Zero empathy. I really cannot put into words how frustrating this experience has been. 3 weeks and counting without a functioning dryer that is under warranty, yet nobody will help. It's like talking to a wall every time I call. I have purchased numerous appliances from B & S, obviously, NO MORE. If you value a company that stands behind its products and their customers, do NOT buy from Bray & Scarff. If I could give negative stars, I would. WORST customer service experience of my life.

May 2nd, 2025 I contacted Bray & Scarff as the range hood was no longer working and requested service under the extended protection plan. May 9th, 2025 Technician came out and said it needs a control board and a switch, which he told me he ordered and it should arrive within 10 days or so.. After several weeks of hearing nothing I called Bray & Scarff service. I was told the part was on back order and they would seek an alternative supplier. Several more weeks passed so I went to the store. They contacted the service department that was not responding to me. Service responded next day and scheduled a service call. June 24th, 2025 Another technician came out on June 24 and told me the part had not actually been ordered, because the original technician probably did not realize he needed to make a phone call to order it. He ordered the part from Broan (the maker of Best appliances) in my presence and I was again told it told it would take around 10 days or so to arrive. July 10th, 2025 I put in a detailed complaint on the Bray & Scarff website I selected that I can be contacted by phone, text or E-mail and the best time for me is ANYTIME. I received NO response. July 14, 2025 I called Bray & Scarff yet again. After a long delay, I was told that the cost of the repair was too high and they would refund me the purchase price of $1950 (the actual purchase price was $2052) and I would receive a check in the mail shortly. THE COST OF THE PARTS WAS KNOWN TO BRAY& SCARFF ON MAY 9th, WHEN THEIR TECHNICIAN MADE THE DIAGNOSIS. August 6, 2025 My wife made yet another call to Bray & Scarff. She was told the check had not been mailed and they would look into it. August 10th, 2025 STILL NOTHING Filed a complaint with BBB Proposed Settlement This is a breach of contract. I expect Bray & Scarff to fulfill the terms of of the extended warranty contract and pay me damages, for the more than 3 months period that I have been without a working appliance and my wasted time trying to resolve the issue, in the form of any difference between the purchase price of a new appliance and the original price, plus the cost of installation. We are never going back, and with so many other file and decor stores in the area, neither should you. They tried to sell us very expensive marble tiles without telling us the special and serious maintenace problems marble tiles cause, then increased the price when we tried to actually buy the tiles, then misled us on the second visit when they tried to sell us patio tiles for a shower floor - which don't work because a shower floor is curved for drainage. These people simply don't know their business. It could cost you thousands. Go somewhere else.

When the project started, the contractor decided to use some of the decorative tile in the shower niche which looked awesome but we didn't account for when we ordered the tile.. I contacted this location and they ordered the 11 pieces of tile and rushed it to us so we could finish our bathroom. . If you like decorative tile accents, this store does a great job in showcasing possibilities for backsplashes/trims. Some of the tiles are very pricey but once staff sees what you are trending to, they can guide you to whatever works for you. .

Couldn't figure it out. No amount of cleaners would fix it. On 2/2, I called Mosaic Tile in Chantilly and the most knowledgable woman, Jen, answered the phone. I had all my original receipts (yes, one of those and it has been a blessing) and described my dilemma. She knew immediately what had happened and knew that the Cement Grout Glaze Remover would fix it. She was so helpful and Mosaic Tile is fortunate she works for them. Unfortunately, driving to Chantilly from Old Town is like a full day trip. Jen struck gold again. There is also a Mosaic Tile in Alexandria, 15 minutes from me. She even went into the computer and saw they had two in inventory. Off i flew, since they closed in 30 minutes. Well, i learned WHY my grout had turned white. My lousy contractor ( who will remain unnamed becuase I still have issues with them, five years after the fact) put too much water in the grout and this caused it to discolor. Happy with the job and pricing. We used them again about 5 months ago. Installed floors on two levels and completely new wood stairs. The floor installations were good. The stairs didn't work out so well. After 3 weeks the shine from the stain (3 coats we were told) disappeared. We called a few times to ask to fix it. But the salesman kept trying to convince me that the shine can't be compared to the floors because they apply more coats at the factory. I said that I'm not comparing them. The shine on the steps just faded. He didn't want to hear it, kept going back to the comparison which was bizarre. In the the end playing ignorant worked because we just gave up trying to deal with them. He then promised my wife to find a solution but never called back. By then we had made our final payment. The new steps also creak and occasionally make a loud noise when you walk down the stairs. If you use this company just do something simple and basic. Otherwise you'll get a situation like mine and the above reviewer. They outsource their installations to third party contractors so it's hit or miss. Not sure how they are selected.
