Blonde girl with a lot of make up and piercing in the month called "Ree" (hope they didn't lie her name to me) is extremely impolite and have very poor costumer service. I grabbed a container to pay and asked her where I could pay for the product. She then questioned me why did I grabbed the container myself, when it was right in front of me and it said "self service", when I explained to her that, she was rude and argued with me. I just wanted to pay for the container. If you can't deal with people and can't explain things (even if it's obvious for you) you cannot work in costumer service. The other guy with a beard was pretty nice. read more

I stopped here because I needed enough gas to get to Barstow (fully understanding $7 per gallon was them just jacking up price/need), on way back from Vegas. Pump #7 charged me for gas that I pumped, but never came out. When I went in to ask the attendant for help he told me "tough luck." Out $20, made it to Barstow, never plan on using Shell again! read more

Hate pumping gas on a regular basis. This station has the slooooooooowest pumps 10 minutes for 14 gallons

Do not buy lottery scratcher tickets here. They refused to cash a winning ticket for 17.00 My understanding is they must cash winning tickets ip to 599.00. Lottery commission has been notified. So close to Ca border with NV no where else to cash. read more

No prices on any product inside this allows them to change prices on the customers at will. The men's bathroom is an old Koi pond decorative fountain typically found in oriental restaurants. Price was nearly a dollar higher per gallon then the next gas station down. Eight dollar purchases in the next city over are over $14 here. Snacks for one adult and two children were $87 for seven items, 3 drinks and 4 snacks. read more

Very rude staff, they are a joke and I would never stop again wast of time, they should also let you know they don't start lotto until 10 Aam when California says it can start at 6 AM read more

Overpriced gas station! Since it's in the middle of the dessert, they crank up their prices. Everywhere else, gas is at $3.59 per gallon (December 2018) but here it's at $4.59!! So guess what, I'm just pumping $10...yup I feel cheap but I admit I was not happy... Oh wait, did I mentioned that I had to get a water!? Guess how much I payed for a pint? Yup! I over payed $3.39! I didn't know they sold holly water! Jk jk Well, I'm sure they're taking advantage of our inefficiency in stacking up on water and gas. I know it's not personal just business! read more

Hidden Gem! Probably one of the coolest little gas stops on the ways to Vegas. They have ZOLTAR from the movie big!! Stopped here randomly to get some snacks for the road and to my great surprise they had a wide variety of Chocolates, candies, nuts and beef jerky from their own brand Cima Mining co. In addition their specialty beverage assortment was like nothing I've ever seen. All kinds of specialty Root Beers, cream sodas, Beer and other various assortments. Best part ....getting my fortune read by ZOLTAR before I left. Sweet deal. read more

They stop selling Lotto on Saturday and Sunday. It gets too busy per the clerk. The bathrooms were dirty and one was not working. Regular gas station. read more

Yes you're out in the middle of nowhere, and gouging is the possibility - because your shady and there's no competition. But WHY? There's no need to rip people off. Just provide a fair price, coupled with good quality and good service. Nothing in this store is priced, and nothing is priced because they hope that you are a customer that won't balk at being ripped-off unnecessarily. This location could be a true gold mine for the right owners who know how to clean their bathrooms, and fairly price their products. read more

The best Turkey jerky! I stop here everytime I go past just to grab 3 bags and use the restroom. The teenagers like all the crazy beverages they have and I like all the fresh made candy. Great place to make a unique pit stop. read more

I traveled over here and was so excited to stop at this store, unfortunately they were not covid friendly so my family and I walked out. Which was so unfortunate because we wanted to buy gifts here for family. There was a gal working there who did not bother to try and were a mask while walking around the store talking, and approaching customers. They just lost our business, someone needs to report businesses like this. read more

This made me mad I drive all the way here to get lotto and they don't sell it on Sat and Sun, nothing on the web saying anything about this. So mad and the number online was a fax number. read more

Poor customer service.. it's almost non-existent, when you ask him something he just left and said look at it and came back after 3-4 minutes. The toilet was indeed nasty. read more

This review is just for the bathrooms because we didn't fill gas at this station. The bathrooms did it's job. Not the cleanest but it's a bathroom. The mens bathroom has a waterfall as a urinal (according to my brother and fiance). I thought was pretty interesting. 5 stars for the waterfall urinal. read more

Very friendly staff. Very clean. Staff took a moment to help me look for what I was looking for.

I didn't buy anything here. I just came here to take a leak on my way to Vegas. But to be truthful from the outside the wayt this place is decorated you would think that it was actually shuttered up and the place wasn't in business! It must be the way they used the vinyl wraps on the store windows, that map design looks like they used newspapers to cover up the windows so people can't see inside!. I did notice they had all kinds of beef jerky for sale, perhaps if I stop here again I would get some. They do have a cool rock waterfall urinal to pee in. Its a large trough design and it was totally unexpected. Probably the most unique pisser midway between Vegas and LA. I dont know if they did anyhting special for the ladies side though. It is reminscent of the waterfall pisser at the Madonna Inn near San Luis Obispo (http://www.yelp.com/biz/madonna-inn-san-luis-obispo-3), although on a much smaller scale. read more

Station is near the Nevada boarder literally in the middle of nowhere. I normally get my lotto tickets here. Actually a cool place. They have awesome milk shakes and sell a lot of cool Route 66 merchandise along with an amazing selection of snacks. Employees are nice and process the lines quickly. read more

This place is such a ripoff... it's out in the middle of nowhere and there's nowhere else to go so they take advantage of that and everything in there is expensive including their gas... it's like their motto is " yeah we are a rip-off but where else are you going to go?" The rip-off factor is glaring and obvious and they just don't care. read more

Ewww hard pass. Place smelled and bathroom were not clean. Hard to believe this is a Shell station

I went to this gas station a bit late at night, but I was surprised at how nice it was. It was clean, big, and the people there were very nice. read more

Great shop of snacks, specials and other things but the size of the entrance and the pumps are not trailer/RV friendly. Very tight squeeze. Last stop before Nevada going North so we had no options. read more

Basic gas station, I use shell because it works with smiths rewards points. Helps to save a little money

Never been to this gas station we had to take a alternative to Las Vegas due to all the snowing and all the roads being closed so we came to this little gas station they have a few things that are very interesting to Children gas is very expensive though and so are the things inside the store but it's a cute little place to stop and take a few picture of the sight. But do remember gas is very very pricy almost 5 dollars a gallon read more

Rest stops in the area are all closed, so not many choices. Gas is expensive, they're the only game in town. Five bucks a gallon. Women's restroom was fine. Men's was an open waterfall trough urinal. No grassy areas if traveling with a pet. read more

So I went to get some lotto tickets at this place and what a surprise it was. Not your ordinary fill up stop, so much more.Charming old west schtick complete with talking moving prospectors out front. If you like jerky then you won't be disappointed as there is jerky on them there walls. I even saw a bacon soda. Hot sauce, magnets, cool signs, they even make candy, good candy. The architecture is an eyeful as you gaze upon the high cathedral type ceilings, have mercy, I said it. Fellas, if you must relieve yourself, the urinal is quite the experience. Making that boring drive to L.A. you must stop here, I promise, it's worth it read more

Tons of cool sodas and snacks and cute random stuff plus actual liquor not just beers this place rules

The workers were super nice and they had a very nice restroom and a lot of souvenirs they had a wide variety of food and drinks overall great place read more

Seems like a lot of people are amused by the men's restroom urinal but I personally thought it was awkward and invasion of personal space. I had to tell the other gentleman to wait and give me some personal space while I urinated. It's just nothing like I've seen in my life now the gas station on the other hand has a lot of great novelty items in it. read more

Convenient store with the worst bathroom in history. The bathroom is small with a door that gives a wide open view of the trough style urinal. Avoid this place if you have any young boys that need to go. The urinals may be neat ambience for hippies but NOT practical. The air dryer is in the worst spot and much too high for kids to use. The store was otherwise fine. read more

We always stop and use the restroom and buy jerky and snacks They have samples so you can try before you buy. They also have a huge selection of candy and nuts. They also have fresh cut fruit. Yes, gas is expensive here, but if you don't plan ahead then you pay the price. I like the place because I can grab some snacks if there's traffic on the way back/to Vegas. There are two Shell station that are in the middle of nowhere, but at least you know that if you're low on fuel you can always count on this place to have plenty full of gas and snacks! Oh yeah, I'm in Vegas almost once a month, two to three times during spring and fall! read more

While I can understand a lot of people coming here for the gas and complaining about the price, I personally feel no empathy for them. I mean come on, if you're gonna plan a road trip at all, you should be ready to gas up before you go. No, the reason I stop off in Cima is for the wide, and I mean wide! selection of snacks and drinks they have here. And every time I've gone and stopped over, I always get some road food. Be it coffee, or the plethora of soda pops they offer, or even the Alien Fresh Jerky! (FREE SAMPLES). So yes, the gas can get pretty expensive, but hey it's the only gas station for miles between Barstow and Las Vegas and beyond. If you're low on snacking foods, or want to use the male facilities in a unique and memorable way, stop here. read more

Not worth the stop unless desperate. Look, I don't begrudge anybody a profit on a business - but these people are gouging you - over a dollar more per gallon ( on regular unleaded) is beyond the pale. If you are absolutely desperate get a couple gallons, then get the fill up in Primm, or Baker. I was there 7/31/12 $4.99 a gallon for reg unleaded. This is a gas station, so they are fair game for this negative review. read more

Absurd pricing. Totally NOT RIGHT! $4.19 per gallon I get that they are in the middle of nowhere but that is no reason to take advantage of people. Seriously- GAS is expensive enough with all the taxes thrown in. Plus they have a convenience store! Really? Like they aren't make a profit there? I put in 2 gallons and drove into Nevada. Gas at the shell station in Nevada - 10 miles farther was $2.73. W-O-W !!!!! I do not leave negative Yelp reviews- but the price difference here is just enormous. The station itself is very cute! It was very busy so I doubt that other people shared my sticker shock. -- for me it was the principle and let's be honest the PRICE! read more

Gas wasn't tooooo expensive for the middle of nowhere and it's the closest place when you're trying to go to Vegas and miss the turn off in Bakersfield or wherever that bug thermometer is. The pumps are a little finicky though and every time I've been there, I've had to swipe my card twice cause it didn't take the first time. read more

The outside may look rundown but the inside is clean and full of interesting things like bacon flavored soda.

Really gross date smoothie! They wouldn't replace it either. Tasted like bad milk and they didn't care at all. If I could put 0 starts I would. The gas was super expensive too! read more

This is the last exit in California before you make your descent into Nevada and the state line. This place has the most AMAZING beef jerky! They have free samples and there is a lot of food and other items one might need for a trip or from Vegas. I opted for the teriyaki beef jerky and the turkey jerky. Both were delicious and were completely devoured before we hit Barstow. I gave this place 4 stars for the amazing selection of snacks, jerky and anything else you may need. If I could give the gas prices a review, it would be zero starts. Gas is super pricey here ( when we stopped here on 7-31, gas was $4.99 a gallon....not cheap). read more
