Looks nice enough outside. Out of towner passing through, was not permitted to pay credit at the pump, had to pay inside, that's fine. Inside the walls were bare. Went in hoping for some snacks and soda but they were out entirely of beverages it seemed. Filled up with gas, then had to go elsewhere for food/drinks. read more

The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because at least they have toilets. But it is so hot, crowded, the bathrooms are dirty and not well kept. It's even harder getting in and out of the bathrooms without hitting someone passing by the narrow hall just outside. We'll try to not stop here in the future if we can avoid it. read more

Stopped here on the way back into CA for some flavored Zyns. They were $11 per can. They were $4.99 at Red Rock Resort and they are $6.00 in CA. Gas was also $6.59, which was insanely high. read more

Overall, service was horrible. This lady who works at a cash register was just finished with a customer and as I walked up, she turned her head to say next person by the time she looked back around I was in front of her. She proceeds to tell me these people were waiting in line 4 people that was in line. I went to the back of the line as I proceeded to move to the front of the line. It's my turn. There was a customer who was standing in front of her register and decided to stand there as she finished helping the customer that she left before me. She proceeds to let the other customer who was not in the long line to proceed to the front. Let alone there was 10 people behind me. She let somebody else cut the front. I felt that was unfair that was not professional and as a black man wearing a Faith base hat who is a Christian and, I felt racially profile. If I ever return to this gas station, I will take a picture of this person and post it on here to let people know how rude she was disrespectful to her a customer and serving people with attitude. If you don't like your job, they find another one. In closing, I proceeded to tell one of the cashiers ladies that that lady was disrespectful to a customer and the lady said she'll proceed to talk to her. I really felt slight, and I hope that the company can do something about this Chevron, Las Vegas, Nevada we stick by our rules and regulation and one number one major rule is the customer is always right unless proven wrong. read more

Customer service was horrible. I bought a soda from there and didn't realize until I got into the car that the cap was not fully on correctly and when I went to exchange it, they would not exchange it and I had to buy a whole new soda.. the cashier at the time his name was Michael and he knew he should have exchanged that for me and he didn't! Hopefully your guys's customer service will get better. You might want to send Michael to some customer service classes or something.. I do not recommend this business. I will never stop here again passing through Vegas. read more

Travel center is located right next to the whiskey Pete's casino, if staying at the casino and need something the store is right next door. There is a Starbucks and Qdoba store at this travel center, Krispy creme donuts, plenty of healthy snacks and drinks, lots of parking and the bathrooms are clean. The store sells beer and other beverages but no wine, the area to fill up is very spacious, gasoline prices are a bit high if you don't mind the price then is perfect or best to fill up in Vegas where is cheaper. read more

Being on the State line, there is NO excuse to be gauging people on gas prices!! Nevada has some of the lowest gas taxes compared to California yet their 87 Regular is $3.99 per GALLON. WE won't make this mistake again. We will find the closet Costco to Las Vegas and get gas before we head out. read more

It is rare that I write a two star review for any establishment...even more rare that I write two in a row. This state border stop off should be avoided. The restrooms we atrocious, with splattered urine in most of the stalls. Filled restroom trash cans, and very expensive gas to boot. I'll skip this stop next time, and drive to the next gas station along the way. Dear Mr. Pete: please clean up your act. read more

You don't come here for a good deal on gas, you probably came here because you needed gas and didn't have much of a choice. I'm sorry. Atleast the inside is clean and well managed but one thing I was not able to find a Dairy Queen at all, I know because coming in to get a Dilly Bar was my primary focus and there was no DQ on the inside, it was a taco place now... Hmm,, yeah this place is just slightly okay and not worth anyone time. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! My dad scanned 2 bags of ice at the self check out, total came out to $36 because the previous transaction wasn't paid for. On the screen, only 2 bags of ice appeared, but when the receipt printed out and there were about 6 items on the receipt. When I asked the cashier if she could please give us a refund she rudely responded "why do you pay for something without knowing what you're paying for:" I made her aware that on the screen only the two items appeared. She said "ok, you can tell him to fix it." (As she pointed to the other cashier) I waited for the other cashier & he stated "I can't refund you because I don't know what happened, so you gotta dispute it with the bank." They we're very rude & unhelpful. Please avoid this location at all costs! read more

This is a great stop. There are clean restrooms and showers. There is lots of snack options. There are a lot of clever Vegas souvenirs too.

A garbage place. Very expensive and specialy unfriendly. The guy working on sep 26 2022 exactly at 11:45 a perfect asshole. I will tru whit all my heart to tell all my friends to never stop in that place. Nothing to do whit pilot. Pilot is a good company . Im a truck driver i stop in every single of them. But this in particular is a shity place And only for the fuccking fuel attendant. read more

As far as truck stops go this place is ok. They have enough gas and diesel pumps to service multiple vehicles at once. Inside it's clean, they offer showers fo truck drivers. They have a few food and beverage options. Lots of snacks for your travels, and have most vehicle ravel needs fix a flat, tire plugs, etc. Gas is normally cheaper here than I California decent place to fill up. read more

Made a pit stop here on the drive back from Vegas. Bad call. Everything was crazy expensive. Quality of non-pre-packaged food was very meh. Keep on driving & go elsewhere. read more

This joint had the most disgusting public bathrooms I've ever seen. Filthy walls, sinks full of gook, and piss on the floor. I've met much cleaner outhouses during the past 10 days camping. This place is gross, gross, gross. If you need to get gas and pee, use the "World's Largest Chevron" at Terribles just up the road. read more

Whiskey Pete's Truck Stop (Flying J's) I'm not going to pretend that I'm a gas connoisseur. So, don't expect me to tell you how good or bad their premium gas is compared to their regular. What I can tell you is that the gas is expensive here. It is what it is. Here are my reasons why I reviewed Whiskey Pete's Truck Stop and gave them a 4-Star Rating Reason #1: The gas station has enough pumps and the store is large. There's a Subway, Starbucks, and slot machines inside too. Reason #2: There's plenty of urinals and toilet stalls. I never have to wait if I need to go Number One. Reason #3: There's usually a gas pump available and I rarely have to wait. Pump and go!! Reason #4: The lines inside don't get too long. By the way, don't get suckered into buying the impulse items at the register. Reason #5: It's a gas station and everyone needs gas. I'm a fan of Whiskey Pete's Truck Stop. And to be honest, I'm reviewing them because they need a little more love than the gas station across the street. 2017 Yelp Review #477 read more

Came here on November 6, 2017. I walked in with my friend to get a drink for both of us. We got 2 fountain drinks and went to a lady that has no customers while another line had 6 people long. We walked up to her and she said are u a trucker. I said no but I want to purchase my drinks. She said while pointing, that's the line. This is for truckers only. Are you serious Flying J? I go to your travel centers all the time and never heard such a thing. Step up your game. We waited 20 minutes for two $4 32 fountain drinks. The total was $8 for just two drinks when I go to 7-Eleven or even mcdonalds for drinks for haft the price. NEVER AGAIN read more

Stopped here leaving Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was very clean inside. There was plenty of snacks, a Starbucks, and other eating options inside. Lines were long, but went quickly due to excellent organization. The ladies' bathroom was clean and attendants were readily available to restock and clean if it wasn't. read more

Really nice travel stop. Sadly, it's better than the casino, lol. Really nice, super clean, tons of snack options, clean restrooms, good customer service and yes the gas prices are higher here. It is the last stop for gas on the 15 Southbound before you will find the next closest one. read more

Carol working at Subway was AMAZING!! She was busy going from removing bread out of the toaster to making my sandwich and each time.... she changed her gloves. As the line grew the other ladies seemed frustrated, i understand that the goal is to get everyone in and out but Carol did everything correct. The other ladies weren't changing gloves between customers. They were just trying to get them out of there. Even though it didn't seem as quick as the other ladies I appreciated her being sanitary! Working as a healthcare professional this meant everything! Thank you Carol read more

Husband stopped in to grab a coffee and sandwich. No creamer for the coffee and charged me $12 for the sandwich. They just lost my business.

Got in line to buy some snacks. The cashier lady was starting to ring me up, but then on the other side of the counter a lady needed help buying gas and interrupted us. So the cashier stopped what she was doing with me to go to another register on the other side of the shop to help her. I waited for for her to finish up... meanwhile a line formed at that register and she looked back at me and told me to walk around and get in the new line that was forming. Thank God another worker there (that actually had common sense) realized what was going on and she helped me. read more

my favorite truck stop ever!!!! very clean and full of fun trinkets. they also have a pete's coffee which is rare in the south!
