Terrible's Road House of Jean, Nevada is just before Stateline and Primm. It pretty much stand alone with only a Starbucks as a neighboring establishment. The gas station is massive with EV charging as well as gas. The mart/market/emporium/restrooms/everything is pretty impressive. They say bigger is better and TRH is absolutely big and better! Service was a little off beat at 2AM, but overall smooth.r read more

I believe they have around 98 gas pumps, they have a ton of bathrooms and the inside is next level. Nice roadside stop on the way in or out of Vegas, but it's definitely trying too hard to be a fancy truck stop or tourist attraction and it definitely falls short. First of all, they have way too much open space that is wasted instead of trying to capitalize on additional retail displays. Instead they have a statue of sasquatch and a bunch of vehicles on display. They also have a White Castle inside that is never open in the evenings when I've stopped by. Aren't White Castles supoosed to be 24/7? On the bright side, they do have clean restrooms and plenty of gas pumps. However, if you're stopping here, you're already so close to Henderson and I'd suggest waiting until you get into town for cheaper fuel unless you're really running low. At least their prices here are cheaper than Primm, but that's not really saying much read more

THE stop if you are traveling between CA and Vegas. I Always stop here to get gas and buy snacks and food. They have a lot of stuff and huge variety of everything. White Castle is located in the building as well. Not Buckees but close!! It is a bit pricey which is the only downside!! read more

This is a giant Texas-style gas station at the Nevada-California border. Texas style means they have like 50 gas pumps, and an inside that's like a small Walmart versus a gas station. They've got fresh beef jerky, 50 kinds of sodas on tap, hundreds of different selections for bottled drinks, merchandise, clothing, candy, pretty much anything you could ever want or need in any situation. There are Krispy Kreme doughnuts, all sorts of different Slurpee's, frozen drinks, ice cream, and other snacks. Being on the road to Vegas, they also have tons of merchandise and other souvenirs with a Las Vegas theme. There are also literally 30+ bathroom stalls and both the men's and women's bathrooms and everything is reasonably clean. Even though it's a little bit off the beaten path it's worth making a stop if you need road trip supplies. Gas prices were not all that cheap but we still filled up because it was a convenient location. read more

We were on our way to Vegas and Utah and decided to stop at Terrible's in Jean, Nevada and wow, I was blown away. This is hands down the cleanest and most spacious gas station I've ever been to. The customer service was absolutely superb. As soon as we walked in, everyone shouted, "Welcome to Terrible's!" which instantly made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The store was fully stocked with everything you could imagine from fresh pizza and snacks to energy drinks, and even had a car displayed right in the center of the store, which was so fun and unique. The entire place felt bright, clean, and inviting. Most importantly, I felt completely safe and comfortable bringing my daughter and husband here. The atmosphere was beautiful, friendly, and welcoming. This stop honestly became a highlight of our road trip. Highly recommend! We will definitely stop here again! read more

This place is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It's like a theme park of a car stop. So many gas pumps, so many snacks, so many souvenirs. They just have a lot of everything, and it's all neat and organized. Super fun drink station, nice bathrooms, the craziest collection of Hostess desserts. They have a huge alien merch section, bigfoot stuff, a rediculous amount of snacks. GETTING HERE: Off the 15 in Jean, Nevada. Follow the exit signs and you cannot miss it! My pro tip is to stop here as you're leaving Las Vegas. It's just more convenient IMO. REVIEW: I love this place. I literally could spend hours inside here. I always need to stock up for the long drive back to California. LOL. So if I don't watch my time and plan accordingly, I could easily spend an hour in here looking at all of the treasures. And top it off - no pun intended - I usually will get gas here as well. I'm all about convenience, but I'm also about the experience. Thus place is another world. Every single time I've come here the lines have been outrageous. 2.5 stars, rounded down. This place is overwhelming huge and in my opinion, true to its name. I stopped in to look for the restrooms (not easy to find) and wandered through all the souvenirs before seeing them. Maybe it's my age, but hoodies from truck stops was more my jam than the randomness sold here. After using the restroom (which was very clean!), I wanted to pick up some Red Bulls for the drive home. I wandered around more until I saw a huge neon "Red Bull Lounge" sign. Surprisingly, there wasn't a huge selection of flavors for having a whole display and sitting area. I then wandered around again looking for how to checkout. The layout of this store is disorganized and it's cluttered. For as big as it is and as many people were in line, yay, only two cashiers were open! Overall, for as much "stuff" as this place has, I wasn't impressed. This is our go-to stop when leavim Las Vegas. We mainly gas up, and I usually use the restroom and grab snacks. I always forget how big it is inside and how there is so much to look at. Terrible's Road House is located in Jean, NV and is about 30 minutes south of Las Vegas. It is known for being The Largest Chevron (91 pumps, 60 bathroom stalls and 50,000 sqft convenience store)! It is more of a tourist trap as the gas is overpriced (doesn't stop anyone from getting gas here though) and the items in the store are overpriced (not much more than most gas station convenience stores). As an attraction, it is worth stopping just to walk around and check out the store and use the restroom. read more

We also love grabbing a couple of other snacks that we might've missed like this time. I missed that on my trip to its sugar on the strip so I was able to get some nice candy here. Go 10 more miles down the road and take St. Rose Pkwy.... 4 Chevrons on this street all $4.19 a gallon. $1.20 a gallon cheaper.... The hot coffee at Terribles was terrible. The house blend had chunks in it and I didn't notice until after a few big gulps. It upset my stomach after a few of hours, I got nausea had stomach cramps and couldn't decide which end it needed to come out of... I destroyed my bathroom once I got home. Wow, this was my first time stopping by the Terrible's RoadHouse and it was a pretty cool spot to take a break at. The inside has many items to drink, buy, and also have a snack. I bought a coconut water that is shaped into a coconut and you just have to twist the cap off to enjoy a nice refreshing drink. I also got a few sodas, and beef jerky. This place has it all and they even sell clothes, accessories, and things with Vegas and aliens as well. Overall it is nice and I am glad I came over here. read more

This is a neat little store that has a little bit of everything. If you're looking for snacks, they have plenty. We always stop here for the "Alien Jerky" and if you're looking for a specific snack, they probably have it with their huge selection of chips, jerky, candy and more. Aside from food, they have cute little Knick knacks, travel pillows, clothes and more. The staff is always welcoming when you walk in the front doors.
