Three separate entries on Yelp for Chevron/Terrible Herbst. Should be combined. It's a huge place, with everything you might need. Planes hanging overhead, one pointing to the restrooms. Drinks, snacks, souvenirs, travel supplies. Great service from fairly busy clerks at checkout. Pleasant inside. Don't get gas here- a dollar more than in Vegas. But stop for restrooms and supplies. read more

This. Gas. Station. Is. Huge. No joke, it's massive. I believe it has almost 100 gas pumps and is the largest Chevron in the world. It also has gas that is about $1.00 more than Las Vegas. As far as watering holes go, you'll find what your need in their gift shop and mini mart. There used to be a White Castle inside but the restaurant is now closed. Huge selection of beer and soft drinks, chips, and related snacks. The bathrooms are the highlight. You'll see why it's called Terribles. read more

All I can say is WOW! Riding through the desert coming from Las Vegas going to Cali me and the family came across this newly Terrible's Road House, a.k.a. the world's largest Chevron, in Jean Nevada, that's been around for a little over 4 years now. The station has about 96 fuel pumps and around 60 restrooms, which is far more accommodating given the volume of commuters. My kids were definitely wowed of joy when we first walked in and seen the Candy Village. You can see full-sized airplanes hanging from the ceiling and a car in auto parts store, and a like 13-foot Sasquatch among the aisles of snacks and drinks. Other features include a Jack Links merch store, a Red Bull lounge with lockers that charge your cell phone, a beer cave with craft brews from Nevada, pepperoni jerky, nitro cold brew coffee on tap, moonshine from City Lights Distillery, a mini-casino, and a machine that makes instant slushies out of soda. There's also plenty of Nevada-related souvenirs to buy at the gift shop, which the items at shop are a little pricey but that's usually any gift shop with touristy items. We definitely can't forget the Krispy Kreme doughnuts, which there's plenty. We ended up getting a bite to eat from the White Castle and waited like 10 mins which we knew was just freshly cooked. We Grabbed some gas which was ok price during inflation time, treats for my girls and adult beverages for later, fueled up and was on our merry way back on the road to Cali. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and step right on in and get the goods and fuel you need. You won't leave empty handed. read more

This place is HUGE and has a ton of gas pumps. Plenty of restrooms with no wait. The downside here is that the gas is $1.00-1.25 more than any other gas station in Nevada. The prices for just about anything in the store are not listed, so you get to find out at the register. I guess it's really all about convenience here, so you pay for that. They even have some slot machines here, if u can't wait to get your gaming on in Vegas. read more

Always a joy to the kids to stop by this gas station. Free drinks for any fuel gas pump. Nice old cars featured. Candies per pound for kids. Variety of last minute souvenirs. It's a must go for any travelers. Roughly 34 minutes away from the strip of Las Vegas. 2-22-2021 read more

Living in Las Vegas I found out we had the the worlds largest chevron located in Jean, Nevada surrounding middle of no where in the desert. Who Woulda Thunk It? So, I had to go and check it out for myself. Its about 40 minutes to 45 min depending on traffic from the Las Vegas strip and another rest stop for tourists going back home to California. ( To the tourist going in to Las Vegas and going back home to California you may know this already who come to Las Vegas often that every Sunday there is traffic and it will usually end up bottle necking) 96 gas station pumps, 25 women stalls, 13 stalls and 25 urinals for men. Upon going into the Chevron last Sunday, their were long lines to the cashier. This was the busiest chevron during this pandemic. This chevron was has everything to a RedBull lounge, a beer cave, a giant Big foot which is great for photo ops, White castle fast food restaurant is located inside, aisles of candy and food galore. Advance auto parts section for your vehicle. A stand alone shelf of hostess of sweetness oh my! Souvenirs just in case you forget to get gifts for your loved ones. Also, there is a tv screen near the white castle that will tell you the weather and traffic current conditions. If your a local and reading this and you have nothing to do. I recommend checking this chevron out. A hidden Gem! read more

Chevron - Clean restrooms. Only missing handicapped rails. - Gas Stations Near Me - Jean, Nevada

On a 1-5 gas station scale, uh, this one's a no brainer. The self-proclaimed largest Chevron in the world is in fact ginormous! How many gas stations have you been in that actually have shopping carts?!?! They stock absolutely every conceivable unhealthy road-snack item that you could ever dream of cramming down on a multi-hour, sweaty seat road trip to wherever. And, woo-hoo, they even have a White Castle open inside in addition to several other eatery options. (And, no, we did not partake of the rat burgers.) I've never seen more gas pumps, or for that matter more urinals (and the bathrooms were actually clean). In addition to wash sinks galore there were hand sanitizer dispensers at every individual "facility"--I've never seen that before. If for no other reason than to say you've seen it, as you are rollin' out of southern Nevada, why not stop in? read more

Do not stop here. Get your gas in Vegas or Primm instead Gas price is too high. Pumps don't work and they don't bother to put a out of order sign on them and they're like oh yeah we know pump 70 the older lady I asked had to finish her texting first before she said they work after I explain to her I tried to different credit cards and three times to make it work . then I went to the other register with the lady that rung me out was super nice but then the girl behind her was eating potato chips at the counter. Nit a good look in a food establishment it was super slow and six people by the registers read more

This place is huge! Very clean outside and inside. Nice place to stop on the way out of town. Definitely nicer than surrounding buildings. There was no wait for the woman's restroom which in itself is worth the stop. But on top of that, they were very clean! The store has soo many options for soo many different items. Did not get gas, but they have what seemed to be 100 pumps! Fun little stop, even if to just stretch your legs. read more

I saw a sign saying: worlds largest Chevron. Need gas anyway, so why not see what suppose to be the largest? And it is huge gas station. And not just the pumps area. There is a like a huge conscience store inside with everything! And like Vegas, they did it big! I must say I wasn't expecting to see a lot lace that huge. Pricing are fair. I would expect better gas gas pricing from the worlds largest chevron. Cool place. Worth a stop for gas and refresh. read more

Anytime we go to vegas, we make sure to stop here on our way home. We fuel up and grab drinks and snacks for the road. They have a wide selection of candy, drinks, coffee, fountain drinks, ice types, several chip options and if that's not enough there's krispy kreme donuts and white castle. If you didn't grab any souvenirs you can load up here- t-shirts, keychains, magnets, stuffed animals, etc. Definitely stop by on the way home. read more

Only Thing was the White castle very short staff we waited 15 min for someone to take our order no one did we finally left, but we had a line going behind us with only three workers. no one did we finally left, but we had a line going behind us with only three workers on the grill. read more

Most definitely open to the place public (for some reason yelp marked it as closed). And big as they tell: more like a gas station shopping center. Packed! But no need to worry. They have 8!!! Cashiers working. Keeping things moving quickly. Interesting place to stop on the 15 freeway. One of the places I can say that is not like the others. And on a good side of things. read more

About to post the giant Chevron across the street. This 1 is very small, but it has what you need - including a bathroom!

It's like a mall in the middle of the desert. From all the many options to stop on the I15, this is definitely one of them. Love how they built the place. Today Sunday was crazy here. I was told there was something going on in Vegas this weekend and this probably explain the high traffic here. Got gas, got burgers, got ice coffee and drove away. Easy exit from the I15 and easy to get back on the road. read more

What can I say, it's expensive gas and lots of snacks. Good gas though yesterday and today

So apparently this is the worlds largest Chevron. I don't know how they stay in business. Every time I drive by the place looks empty and gas is about $1 more expensive than a few places just 5-10 miles down the road. read more

Great big gas station! Open all night and soo many pumps. I'm soo impressed that their is such an abundance of pumps. It's fancy. The inside is great too! read more

Stopped here to fill up on gas before heading back to Los Angeles. This place is huge!!! With 51 pumps. They claim to be the biggest Chevron in the world!!! There's a lot of space between the pumps which is nice. Place is clean, even inside the store. The bathrooms, both men and women were clean as well which is nice. It's also conveniently located off the 15 south freeway. Now to all those haters that say they are price gouging.... have you ever been to California? All gas stations there price gouge. And heaven forbid you have to fill up in the boonies of California!!! It's not their fault that you decided to fill up there. Center of Vegas is only about 6-10 miles away with more reasonable prices. But no one forced you to fill up here. It's a perfect example of supply and demand. They have something you need. And there isn't a place for the next several miles. Due to convenience, poor planning, empty tank, full bladder, etc. you decided to fill up here. Some people get mad. But I say kudos to you Chevron for finding prime real estate and then capitalizing on it. Kudos to you, as I slowly clap my hands. read more
