He initially purchased one at Wal-mart. To see if he liked it enough. Was considering getting that special deal online but saw that it was on sale here. Saw last night on a tv commercial, that the store has expanded to using Points on grocery purchases, not just to redeem on gas, which is a good move. ((Important: The former President blocked a mega-merger between Kroger and Albertsons, which I also signed numerous petitions against, and so this was a Win for us Consumers.)) Peculiar, that we've received the weekly Sale circulars very loosely these past few weeks. I don't know if this is on the USPS, but it's very strange, indeed, but worth mentioning. This grocery store was very convenient during the pandemic shut down when the contactless grocery shopping was recommended. The gas station is the most convenient for me and these days the rewards gas discounts are appreciated. I always find several specialty items here that you can't find at other stores. The produce section seems to be fresh and well kept compared to other stores. The staff generally seem very friendly and helpful. The only negative that I have found is the self checkout with the conveyor belt. That situation never goes flawless and it always locks up. I still enjoy checking out with people!
