Very cool truck stop, one if the nicest I've ever been in. The people that work here are nice and friendly....Subway, Qdoba and Starbucks are inside and are about $2-3 higher than in regular locations. Well I didn't check out Starbucks pricing...sorry. Ugh!! Flying J got me again! After stopping here this Summer, I remembered doing the same last Summer fully intending not to do so again! Freeway signage states it is a Flying J, but only the diesel here is Flying J. All other fuel is Chevron and priced up to $2 more per gallon than it is just a short drive into Vegas. So, if you absolutely need it, get a few gallons here. But you'll save a lot of money if you drive a little longer and wait until Vegas to fill up. Based on this experience and a Flying J 25 cents off per gallon promotion if you buy a slice of pizza that not a single Flying J location could figure out and/or they did not participate because they were "not a corporate store", I boycotted Flying J on my return trip. Tonight I received the most unprofessional and rude Taco Bell delivery service experience. The delivery drive Hiba T. One told me he was motel 9. When the address I have is for riverleaf inn. This was at the time I was sending someone to pick it up. The driver who claims he was waiting for 89 minutes. Really meant 8-9 minutes. WORST FLYING J EVER! I wanted to take a warm shower and that didnt happen, i couldnt even have my body under the water while i was putting soap in my hair because it was freezing cold . If i ever stop here again i will not use my credits for a shower i will wait. Nope. Never ever again. I feel like I just showered in hell. Like moving that dial was like moving through the nine circles of hell. You've got hot and eight levels of hotter. It was literally the most painful shower of my life. If I didn't really need one, I wouldn't have gotten one. It was so hot that it is seriously a health hazard. Someone with a disability could have passed out in there. If you like showers that will burn your skin off, have at it. I've never lost seven years of skin cells in one shower before. This truckstop needs a tune up badly, as truckers we power Murica, all 18 wheels. I normally shutdown here and the food court I feel closes whenever they want, some nights it's 7, 8, 9, 9:45. Usually it's some hill have eyes or breaking bad type of employee saying "we closed" not sorry sir were closed. Oh the showers, dont get me started, the fans probly have Ebola or Covid19. Manager Lena is a poor manager with awful customer service skills. She is ghetto banging on the door. I reserved a shower. They assigned a shower to me. Upon entering my code and pushing door open. Realized there was someone in the shower. I let the associate who cleaned the showers know. He checked and confirmed there was in fact someone in there already. He cleaned another shower and gave it to me. Yes I had already paid for the shower. They assigned someone else to the shower that was given to me. Lena proceeded to bang on the door the entire time I was showering yelling that I stole someone's shower. So I rushed to explain to her I did not steal someone's shower the associate gave me the shower because someone else was still showering in the one that was assigned to me. She has no communication skills and could have resolved the issue by speaking with the associate who issued me the shower as a replacement. Instead she escalated it by yelling and turning up everyone's temper including the other driver who was assigned to this shower after it was already given to me read more

This overpriced parking lot of a place's only redeeming quality is having Q-Doba & Subway. The convenient store is so ridiculously overpriced & the food isn't even that good! I paid $15.00 for two yogurts & a loaf of bread! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! The cashier tried scanning things so fast so I wouldn't have time to take anything off! Then the only sandwich they had in the whole place was $9.00...and it sucked! It tasted old! This place needs to stock up on regular groceries, too. There were only 2 loaves of bread, very limited actual "food", & mostly bare shelves! This isn't Russia!!! The only thing we get here is fuel & Q-Doba or Subway occasionally. I don't even want their fountain drinks bc the water they use here tastes AWEFUL!! I try not to use their bathrooms, either, since the clientele can't seem to flush a toilet! Just a crappy place that I can't wait to get away from! At least there usually is a better than average chance to find a semi parking spot. One star is being generous. My husband and I waited over an hour for a shower. There were no other employees besides the cashier and the Indian lady who cleans the showers. The shower line grew from 1 to 6 in 45 mins. This lady decided to clean EVERYTHING else aside from the showers. No one acknowledged us nor apologized for the wait. Terrible. Terrible. TERRIBLE!! We will NOt be stopping by again and I do not recommend you do either. read more

If price gouging was illegal, this place would have been shut down and the owners fined! You're pretty much in Las Vegas and should ALWAYS be prepared to be ripped off but damn! I'm not a regular smoker but I do smoke while I gamble because hey gambling, smoking, and drinking tend to go hand and hand. $16.00 for a pack of Camel crush though? I don't think so. Think that's bad? How about $5.85 for a small bag of Lays Kettle cooked chips, which didn't even have the price on the front just like everything else in the store. Came here on November 6, 2017. I walked in with my friend to get a drink for both of us. We got 2 fountain drinks and went to a lady that has no customers while another line had 6 people long. We walked up to her and she said are u a trucker. I said no but I want to purchase my drinks. She said while pointing, that's the line. This is for truckers only. Are you serious Flying J? I go to your travel centers all the time and never heard such a thing. Step up your game. We waited 20 minutes for two $4 32 fountain drinks. FRAUD PLACE! Prepaid 200$ at the cashier and tried to get some gas but pump didn't start the fueling for some reason, request to reset it twice and it was the same issue after that I request to cancel my transaction and I left. After awhile find out that they charged my card 140$ for nothing. Staff won't even try to help you. Sent all my proofs to the bank and dispute transaction. TRASH PLACE read more

When traveling between Vegas and So Cal this place is on the state line. Has fuel for cars and large trucks. Plenty of pumps for both. Inside has everything you need for travel essentials including snacks, beer, soda, jerky etc. there are a few fast food eateries inside along with showers for truckers. The gas is more expensive than Vegas but cheaper than in California. read more

We stop at Flying J's while traveling because we can get good gas prices and can use our Good Sam card for an extra discount. THIS FLYING J DOES NOT SELL GAS!!! Only diesel. There's a Chevron there, but has outrageous prices with no discount. We will NEVER stop there again. read more

I used to stop here quite often when I was with a different company and Kevin makes it an awesome place to come to to spend the night when you shut down. Do not stop here with a bus! We had 4 busses pull in. The place looks equipped to handle it, but they are not. We had over 50 people in each line and the "manager" came out and closed a register. Tried to get fuel at the Primm flying J. Put in my card at the pump and was immediately Charged $500. Card company flagged it and froze my card. There is no reason for a fuel station to charge you $500 before you even put fuel in. So no more flying J for us. read more

Rude employees, absent management, and lots of banging on my shower door! Wth?! Went to this Flying J for a shower with my trucker friend who has the Shower Power free shower rewards. She had 5 free showers available on her rewards account with Pilot. The clerk that rang us up was a polite young man with an awesome beard but for some reason the register only gave us one shower code not two. When he tried to wave down someone for help, no one was available. A lady employee (I assume a shift leader) walked passed us and flopped down in a chair with arms folded in a childish, pouty manner and just glared at us silently. We were both thoroughly confused as to who to ask for assistance in getting a second shower code. The polite bearded man walked with us passed the showers to the housekeeping storage and no one was there either. So the man took matters into his own hands, got the keys, and unlocked the shower I was assigned to. Which was awesome of him. However, this was apparently a terrible thing. Two foreign ladies were banging on my door and trying to unlock it. It stopped when I yelled, "YES?!". While I was showering I heard an angry black lady yell, "...and this is WHY WE DON'T GIVE FREE FUCKING SHOWERS TO ANYONE!!" Then more banging on the door. This went on for about 10 minutes! I hurried my shower and got the hell out of there. Those bathroom walls were covered with hand prints and toothpaste. Not only that but the toilet had old pee around it and the floor was filthy. Wow.
