We recently decided to give this place a try, especially since it's right down the street and under new ownership. My husband desperately needed a haircut. He usually goes to a perfectionist stylist who always does an incredible job, so I knew he was hesitant to switch. However, I convinced him that he just needed a cut, regardless of where we went. When we walked in, Belen, the owner, greeted us with warmth and respect. Not only was she friendly, but her prices were also a third of what my husband was paying before. She did an outstanding job on his haircut and beard trim. About a month later, he returned for another service, and he asked Belin to suggest a different look for his beard. When he came home, I couldn't keep my hands off him--let's just say we had an incredible weekend! I highly recommend Belin for men's haircuts and beard grooming. While browsing through reviews, I noticed many didn't mention the stylist's name, and there are several talented girls working there, each with their own specialties. My son also visited about a month ago and received an amazing haircut from a stylist with black hair who sits at the end on the left side. I don't remember her name, but she did a fantastic job! She really listened to what I wanted and made sure everything turned out exactly how I envisioned it the color looks beautiful and natural and the cut suits me perfectly. I could hear this lady saying my mother was upset. Mind you, my mom wasn't being rude and if she was, I would have told her so, trust. I think it's natural to have some frustration as both the client and the stylist when scheduling mishaps happen; however, this woman escalated the situation from 0 to 100, accusing my mom of being rude and then saying, "don't get upset with me for these dumba** people's mistakes." I definitely don't think you should be cussing when speaking with customers or clients. I also don't think you should be talking about the people you work with that way. My mother was literally just calling to find out when to come in. I don't think the situation was handled well by the person on the phone and we will not be visiting this shop.
