These hair stylists at this salon have "Plenty" of clients already and not looking for new ones... it's just sad how they choose to deal with potential new clients! Where do I start? The vibe was so positive and peaceful. The salon is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. It felt like I was just spending the day with girlfriends. Nadia and Lisa are kind, professional, and fun. I had a blast with Lisa. She is so warm, personable and easy to talk to. We went back and forth for a while before I even decided to schedule an appointment. I was on the fence about getting my hair done in the first place (due to multiple not so great experiences in the past). She got back to me immediately with every question. Called here around February to get advice on hair correction. Was advised to come down to have my hair looked at. I met with Jacqueline who appeared to be sincere in the advice she gave and understanding and sympathetic of my horrible experience at a previous salon. Had tried several times to make an appointment with her because I was having family photos done very soon and she just wouldn't text back. Lack of customer service and treating clients like they didn't matter was a number one complaint I had in regards to the way the previous salon had treated me and Jacqueline did the same thing. When I say not text back, I mean at all, requiring a next day follow up. I guess she had gotten hurt awhile later which delayed her texting back even further. There was a day where she said she may be able to fit me in and we agreed around 3:30 and she'd keep me updated, of course that didn't happen. I texted her around 4:30 to let her know I cannot meet her because it's after 3:30 and she doesn't acknowledge it until after 5, saying well try again. I texted her the next day AGAIN giving her availability because I needed my hair fixed/done for family photos, I texted her first thing in the am, she again does not text me back. I was fed up at the lack of customer service and professionalism. I found someone else and told her nevermind, she responded to that text days later. I can't say I don't recommend the salon but I do not recommend Jacqueline. read more

She recently took on my mom as a client who has short hair with highlights, and I loved how my mom's hair turned out so I booked with Nadia as well. I've had straight across bangs with long hair for a while, have been trimming my own hair for a few months now, and I was looking to grow out my bangs in a curtain bang style with face framing pieces, while also taking off some length. Update with response to Nadia: I am happy to pay for services I receive and tip, especially if the conversation was pleasant! As you mentioned, you are the expert and if you suggested you cut better dry I deferred to your expertise. But I am bothered by the principle of charging for a full wash and cut when you acknowledge there was no wash and the pricing for that service was different. I also didn't need my hair straightened as I do that on a daily basis on my own. Regardless, I appreciate your time and effort to respond. Second update: Nadia clarified through direct message charge is the same for dry cut as well as wash and cut and I was not overcharged. Too much defensiveness for me, we will both be better off if in the future I go elsewhere. I have a tough time leaving mediocre reviews. The first time I came here was sometime last year and I forgot to review at that time, but I was seen by Kara and she washed and cut my hair wonderfully! I came back despite not always being in the area because I'd had such a positive experience. She confirmed that she was doing a wash, cut, and blow-dry and had a great price for the whole experience. The second time I came back was a few months ago and I scheduled a haircut and wash. I got a dry cut and was charged the full price. I'm giving the stylist benefit of the doubt, especially since I hadn't been sure enough of my appointment at the time of the cut to bring it up myself. I also just felt like not as much time and care had been put into my cut as usual, but maybe that's because I've never gotten a dry cut before so it felt short. Let's start off by saying I am new to this area so I picked a salon simply by the good reviews and I was not disappointed. I called last minute because I happened to have some free time and Jaqueline kindly fit me into her schedule that day. That alone warranted the five stars but she still deserves more. I rarely dye my hair but when I do, I always ask them to get me as blonde as they can without damaging my hair and rarely am I completely happy with it. Jaqueline got me an icey blonde but still was able to keep my dark dimensions for a natural look. We had never met before and without me asking she went over every step in her process so I wasn't left in the dark and felt comfortable. I was taken aback by my experience here. First, the stylist had no idea I was even there for a color, so I didn't get the color I wanted. I had been very clear when I made the appointment a month before. I was notified it was cash only less than 10 minutes from my appointment. Bleach kept drying and flaking in my face. They did not keep their masks on. They were badmouthing MOAB next door about their service and mockingly saying "they want $15 an hour for this?" They were talking about suspicions about vaccination.
