For the record, this review is based on the pedicure and not the business or the massage therapist. Unfortunately this will be a knock on the business because in the end, the business represents each of their employees. Kind of sucks but it is what it is. I can't just Yelp the nail lady. We arrived about ten minutes early and our massage therapist was ready and waiting for us. The nail lady, well she came walking in about 10:29 and 59 milliseconds when our appointment is at 10:30. No big deal right? Things happen. I get it. My wife picked me first to get my pedicure. So this lady starts working on my feet and she appeared lost. Almost like she did not know what she was doing. It got to the point where I almost was going to tell her to stop her service because I felt she didn't have the skills to perform a basic pedicure. She would use the regular clippers to clip the corners of my toes. I am no pedi expert but I wouldn't use normal squared clippers for corners. Another irritating thing about my pedicure is the seating. You basically sit on a bench, stick your feet in a small portable tub that lays on some vibrating gadget. I was uncomfortable for sure. So the wife gets done with her 60 minute Massage and the nail lady is still working on my feet. Maybe me you I don't get special colors or polish since I don't wear that stuff. Wow!!!! In the end, this was by far the worst and I mean the worst pedicure I have ever had. I get done with my massage which was good. Wish is was a little bit harder but it was good. My wife was still getting her feet done by the same nail lady. In the end, We walked in at 10:30, and left closer to 2pm. Way too long. The wife hated her pedicure. My wife's exact words, "my four year could paint better nails that her." Ouch!!!! So who is this mystery pedicure lady? I don't know her name but she has been there for one month.

Let me start off by saying I have a lot of fine very straight hair and its pretty long and yes I am fussy with it. My hair does not hold a curl or a wave and most stylists are unable to correctly blend my hair when they cut it. I decided to give Neve a try at The Mane Lounge and I honestly was elated. Not only is she super sweet and funny, but She just gets it. I didnt have to over explain or show her 18 pictures or go home and cry. One picture, one sentence and it was done. She did an amazing job and even styled it for me how I would do it at home (no curls, straightened it the way the Lord blessed me) so I could see the cut. I am so happy and I'll be sure to go back. I love the way Neve loves my hair. She has done my hair since my first big chop. I made the mistake of going into another salon with my almost waist length hair asking for a short pixi punk look and was told no that it wouldn't look good my hair is too thin, it would look flat and left with a "may I speak to the manager" style a-line mom cut that I begrudgingly paid for. I have gone to Neve since 2012 and I have to say that she is truly a color and hair expert. Although my hair was jet black she has gradually lightened it for me to a golden blonde without any damage. She has also done Brazilian blowout on my hair and my hair is always very smooth and soft as long as Neve has been my stylist. Took me a long time to find someone who can cut my hair without it looking choppy. Neve is the only person I can trust with that! And she has tremendous knowledge of products so I love to pick her brain about that stuff. Hair skills aside, the salon itself is so beautiful. Loved this salon! I went in for eyebrows with Ceci and she does an amazing job! I first met Ceci at Ulta and she was great! But for whatever reason I decided to go once with a random person and I completely regretted it! I had to regrow my eyebrows and had to find Ceci so she could fix them and she did! My mother was making an appointment for my grandmother and apparently there was a scheduling mishap. My mother made an appointment on Friday and it was never actually scheduled so when my mom called to confirm today, they had no record of the appointment. They said they could squeeze my grandma in though. When my mother called to confirm the time they wanted my grandma to come in, the lady answering the phone was incredibly rude. I could hear this lady saying my mother was upset. Mind you, my mom wasn't being rude and if she was, I would have told her so, trust. I think it's natural to have some frustration as both the client and the stylist when scheduling mishaps happen; however, this woman escalated the situation from 0 to 100, accusing my mom of being rude and then saying, "don't get upset with me for these dumba** people's mistakes." I definitely don't think you should be cussing when speaking with customers or clients. I also don't think you should be talking about the people you work with that way. My mother was literally just calling to find out when to come in. I don't think the situation was handled well by the person on the phone and we will not be visiting this shop.
