Christianna did my hair and was so incredible! My balayage turned out perfect. She was professional, and really gave my hair that TLC that it needed. My hair looks and feels amazing. I would definitely recommend!!

I just had my first wellness consultation with Jenne and she was patient and thorough listening to my health concerns. She offered a lot of advice for my migraines and fatigue and a complimentary juice. I am excited to try some of her health suggestions and as I continue my health journey. I also had the opportunity to get my teeth whitened by Katie. She was understanding that I have a busy mom and work life and I was able to do two separate 15 minute sessions. I have sensitive teeth and I did not feel any discomfort. Katie and Jenne were welcoming and sweet. I will definitely be going back for future services.

This place is very unprofessional. Two times now my daughter has gone here for different things and both times we have had issues. First she went to get her nails done by Amber. Amber was in such a hurry she did a horrible job on my daughters nails. I had my daughter send a picture of her nails to Amber and explain they need to be fixed. Amber did fix them, but made us wait 45 min after the scheduled time to start. While doing them she made us feel uncomfortable as she continued to look at the clock telling us she needed to hurry so she could leave and make it to the post office before they closed. Just recently my daughter made an appointment to get her hair done by Alyssa. She got pink put in her hair. Alyssa told my daughter during a hair consultation that it would last 6-8 weeks. After my daughter got her hair dyed Alyssa then told her it would last 4-6 weeks. My daughter looked online to see the care for her dyed hair as Alyssa never went over it with her. My daughter took all the precautions and only washed her hair twice in one week. In just one week and two days the pink was gone from her hair. I asked Alyssa what she could do to fix the problem and she said nothing except let us buy a pigment conditioner at her cost. After constant back and forth convo nothing was resolved. My daughters father talked to the owner and she stood with Alyssa and chooses to do nothing to resolve the issue. Such a waste of $125! It's safe to say we won't be going back anytime soon. It won't let me respond to you, Katie, so I'm editing the review. I never lied about anything I have posted. Yes I did say Ashley at first and then I changed it to Amber once I realized I had the wrong nail girl. I owned up to my mistake and fixed it. Something you guys can't do. I was told my daughters father talked to you and that you weren't willing to help and that you stood with Alyssa. That's when I began to write my review because Alyssa messed up and wouldn't fix it. Alyssa stated she wasn't going to redo the color. We did try to ask multiple times. I have messages to prove it. So you are wrong yet again calling me a liar. As we stated before I have no problems taking down the review on Alyssa if she's willing to fix her mistake. As for the Pantene comment, I've dyed my hair many times and have always used Pantene, never once did my color leave after 2 washes. As for your very wrong comments about my daughter...she is an amazing girl that makes good chalices daily. She wouldn't hurt a fly and doesn't lie. She's a good kid. DO NOT try to slander her since you obviously don't know her! PS. I will not be bullied into taking down my review.

I have been having Hanna do my hair ever since she has been at Lux and although I have recently moved out of California I will 100% be back so Hanna can continue to do my hair. She is that good! She is friendly, professional and most importantly she gives me realistic expectations when changing the color of my hair. I have been blue, green, muli color and everytime she makes sure to remind me how to properly care for my color so it can last as long as possible. I also took her professional advice and started using better quality shampoo and conditioner on my hair and let me tell you, it makes a huge difference. Hanna is fantastic. She is accommodating and professional and I recommend her to everyone! She also handles all my skin care needs. I loved having a facial. Her room was calm and peaceful. She was knowledgeable about the problems my skin was having and very informative about the ways I could help achieve the goals I had for my skin. I would highly recommend her for your skin care needs.

LUX salon has everything you can imagine! Katie (the owner) has been nothing but sweet when I've been in contact with her! I personally go for my lashes and nails. I constantly get complimented on my lashes about how great they look! I feel like it's really common to get them filled at 2 weeks but I usually go for 3 and occasionally push 4 weeks before I notice them needing a fill. Sheree is so sweet to talk to, is flexible with her schedule, makes you feel comfortable and does an incredible job. Can't imagine getting lashed by anyone else! Instagram: lovely.lashing_ Kayla has been doing my nails since February I believe. I book my appointments with her every 3 weeks! But even then, they still are great - no lifting and no broken nails. I've never been so satisfied, she always makes sure they're exactly how I want them. The compliments I receive on my nails are never ending! She's clean, doesn't use cheap products and I never have an issue making appointments, she always fits me in! Not to mention, she's so enjoyable to talk to. When I first started going to LUX someone tried to tell me that the owner and the workers there were rude and unprofessional, but I already had an appointment set up with Alisha (she did my gorgeous caramel color when I was trying to blonde, picture 1) so there was no backing out. I've definitely discovered that it's not at all true. Everyone is super sweet and they make you feel like you're a friend, not just a client. You can tell that all of their clients feel comfortable with the salon and the stylists carry a genuine conversation with just about everyone. Recently, I started getting lash extensions done by Hannah, which was life changing! They looked amazing and cut a good chunk of time out of my makeup routine. She was so gentle and patient and always available when I had questions or concerns about the lashes. I did have some sensitivity to the glue and she was incredibly apologetic even though it wasn't her fault. When she got a new glue she let me know, offering to switch over to the new one for my next fill. I decided to give my eyes a break and she still offered to remove the remaining lashes at no charge. Hannah has also done my hair recently (half blue, half purple) and she is definitely the person to go to for vivid colors. You can tell that she really enjoys what she does and cares about the health of your hair. She takes her time and gives lots of advice on how to care for your hair (#1: don't buy your hair products at a place that doesn't have a salon). Plus, she offers extra treatments that have kept my hair feeling ridiculously smooth and shiny. Hannah also has her esthetics license because she's a little overachiever, so I'll 100% be getting a facial done by her sometime! Great gift for Mother's Day, too!! I've included pictures of my hair from Alisha and Hannah's instagrams so it's easier to look them up!

This was my first time at Lux, and I had a positive experience. You can tell the owner, Katie, cares about creating a positive and restorative salon experience for her clients and I will be back. I had my hair done yesterday with Alisha and I am in love. She made my color dreams come true, which is a feat because I don't know how to describe what I want. She knows her stuff and totally took the time to explain what she was doing so that I understand the process. I appreciate that she cares about the health of my hair and doing things the right way to protect my hair so that it stays looking amazing! I have a ton of hair and I know it's a pain to work with but she was so sweet and positive that I loved my experience. My hair looks amazing and I can't stop checking it out!! My boyfriend usually gives me a "oh that looks good, do you like it?" when I get my hair done, but yesterday all I got was a stunned "you are so beautiful". He keeps commenting on it. Alisha, you have made me feel like a stunner and thank you so much!!!

I've been coming to Hanna since August and I leave happy Everytime. My hair looks better, lighter and healthier with each visit. I look forward to every appointment with Hanna. She's very friendly and easy to talk to and always ask if we're still going toward the same goal before beginning.

This using even the start of my hair that has fallen out, I'm extremely discouraged. My hair has never been so damaged

Ive never written a review, but in this case it was necessary for my mental health and to prevent future clients from going through my experience. I booked my appointment with Christianna last week through a link on her Instagram. I booked a balayage appointment, there was a comment section where I asked if a test strand was needed. I received no response prior to my appointment. my appointment was 9/22/2021 at 1 pm and she pushed it back to 3 pm. I showed up at 2:45 and still had to wait over an hour still to be taken in. Before the appointment I told her I wanted to get my hair done for my moms wedding coming up soon. I gave her my hair history, I told her I had box hair dye in blue and purple. When I showed her a picture of what I wanted she confidently said she could do it. (I asked for an ash blond balayage with black shadow root). She starts bleaching my hair, and some time into it I hear my hair sizzling. I asked her if its supposed to do that, she quickly started pulling the foils out as my hair was literally steaming and the bleach was dripping all over the floor. She said it was having a chemical reaction because of the box hair dye. I also had asked for curtain bangs but when she was going to cut them she sounded uneasy and said my hair was fragile (due to the sizzling). I told her that if she didnt feel confident cutting the bangs; that we should just leave my hair as is. My hair ended up looking green, no where near the color I wanted. She said she put a maple toner and then added so many products to hydrate my damaged hair. She gave me a "complimentary collagen treatment". When she proceeded to begin to blow dry it I saw that it was still green. I told her I didnt like it and I expressed my concerns to her. She said that I downplayed the box hair dye and how bad it was. I respectfully told her I did not downplay anything. She proceeded to say that the salon has cameras and voice recoding devices. At this point I said, "okay, I recommend that you go back and listen to those voice recordings because you looked at me and confidently said you can do this." I asked her what she could do to fix it. She said she could do a darker toner. I asked her to just cover it black. She said okay but she would have to additionally have to charge me the product she uses and proceeded to tell me how much her products were worth. She had given me an estimate of $350 dollars for what I wanted & she said she could do. I told her to go ahead and do it because Id rather have a job well done. Again, after I had expressed my concerns & suggested she do test strands in the future to avoid mistakes; She said she doesn't have time and just assumes clients would be honest with what theyve done to their hair. I was offended, because I know I told her & I do encourage for review on the cameras/voice recording devices, I wouldn't lie about that, we even had a "funny" conversation about it, I told her I made sure to tell her I had box hair dye because I've watched the brad mondo videos & he warns his viewers to let your hairstylist know. Anyways, it gets worse, She didnt finish my hair, she said that she had to "end the service here because she didnt feel comfortable anymore". I agreed by saying i wasn't comfortable either. She ended up giving me a $50 discount. I walked out of there with green, ash toned, wet and fried hair. It was a waste of time (I spent 5 hours there) and a waste of $300 dollars. Yes, I still paid her, but I'd love a refund to be honest. My hair was healthy and long (down to my bottom) she said that my hair was the longest she had ever worked on. Now its ruined; Ive already booked an appointment elsewhere to fix the damage, now having to spend more money to fix something she did. I was a new client to the Lux Lounge and a new client of Christianna. I'm extremely disappointed & discouraged, I literally cried. My hair is literally falling out in pieces. On a brighter note, Christianna is a great person, she's friendly and easy to talk to. However, her lack communication and saying she can do something and not accomplish it, it was very deceiving for such an expensive service. Christianna mentioned she had hair insurance for cases like these. Therefore, I did file a complaint to the board for negligence and false claims. Personally, with my experience, I do not recommend. I really wish things would have gone differently.

I'm super picky on who touches my hair. Everyone talks about this place so I set a appointment with Brooke. After that appointment, I wont be going anywhere else. She did an amazing job. My hair was frizzy and dead from all the heat damage and coloring I've done over the years. She customized a treatment, cut it and styled it for me! It looks amazing. She even personalized a treament serum that I bought specialized for my hair. And the price was so good! Thanks girl!!! Love love love it !!

I LOVE Lux Lounge! The environment so so friendly and inviting. Every single stylist I have come across at lux has been very welcoming and nice. This place seriously offers everything you can think of! But Brooke at Lux is my go to girl! This girl knows her stuff and will always do her best to accomplish what you want, the healthiest way possible! Her pricing is more than fair and ALWAYS has some sort of discount available! Personally, I always like to change things up drastically when it comes to my hair. I've gone from brown to blonde to purple and back to blonde! And she has done it all WITHOUT my hair falling out! I can honestly say my hair feels super healthy and strong even with the lightening I've put it through! I have also gotten a couple amazing facials done by her and my eyebrows waxed. The amount of time and dedication she puts into her clients is amazing and keeps me coming back

I usually go to Aqua Bliss but my friend had a Groupon so I figured I would join her here. They were having a special One spray tan for $30 or 2 for $60. I only needed one for the weekend so I opted for the $30 one time only offer. The woman who helped me was very nice and helpful. After I was done getting sprayed and drying off I guess I should of just stood there for awhile and not towel dryed off because the next day I realized that you could see where it dried where my bra straps were. I was kinda bummed since my dress was strapless but I figured maybe I'm the only one that will notice. Overall I would come back if I need a fast quick tan but I'll keep going to Aqua Bliss because they actually air brush you with the tan and then use a spray that dries you quickly so you don't have marks like I did.

It also says that it offers all sorts of services, which is a complete lie. Everything in there is broken. Nothing works. The spray tan machine was the worst in my life. Red light facial light broken. The massage chair, one of the worst that chair should be tossed out. It's safe to say nothing works there now. Let's talk about the new owners. They took over the place. Yes, their remodeling it. They have no sign outside. Letting people know that they are going through a remodel that the building will be closed through such-and-such dates, which is extremely inconvenience for some of us. I have a schedule.... currently, going through my credit card company. Because they overcharged me a couple times brought that up to their attention. They told me that they are not responsible for that. But that I can contact planet beach in mantica, in regards of the double charges. Nobody wants to take responsibility for what they've done on another note. There is a lot of other people staying with them and they are not willing to grandfather them in as they should. But young ladies said is that the prices will be going up? Because they are getting new machines. So they are upgrading the building. But us the customers are getting the s***** end of the stick. I am sure my credit card company has gotten ahold of them and they are giving them the runaround just like they do to their customers. This is a honest opinion from a customer of planet. Beach for over 7 years.
