I signed up for red light and got spray tan in my package. Shelly was informative and helpful in explaining the products and packages. The rest of the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I love that I can listen to Sirius radio while I red light. There are 3 different channels to chose from. I split my time between this location and the Turlock location as they are both about the same distance from my house. Open 7 days a week and I never have to wait to red light or spray. I do not use the tanning beds but they have a lot of choices on beds and packages. Love this place! read more

They the worst cancellation policy, you can't just call and cancel, you have to actually write a letter and send it by mail, I mean who writes a letter in the year 2020, and they still change you the next month payment from the day you cancel... what makes it even worst, the receptionist gave us the wrong address and the letter was sent back. The service is satisfactory. I just think they should modernize their cancelation policy. read more

I tan here often and have always had good service, but the most important thing about a tanning salon is the actual tanning beds. The bulbs are replaced when needed and I always get a really good tan. The 9.99 per month is a great deal. I can only tan on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, but that is all I need with a good tanning bed. As for the window in room 1, yes, you must put the shade down before you undress. After being mistaken for the kid on that movie Powder on the downtown bus recently, I figured it was time to make matters into my own hands... I'm anti-UV (obviously, my skin tone does not lend itself to being baked, and even if it did I do not have the patience!) but I headed to Pacific Tanning for their Mystic Tan. I've only ever had airbrush tans. Many of them, actually over the last 2 years or so. Instant life, liberty and the pursuit of glowiness! They are obviously a bit more expensive because a technician applies the "glow" to your entire body. However, I was on a short timeline (wedding on Saturday) and needed some color: STAT. After checking the stellar reviews for Pacific Tanning, and double checking that they have the BRAND NAME Mystic Tan system (imitations are typically a no-no) I popped in to take a look and get my Jersey Shore-lite version of myself to emerge. $29.99 for the Light application (prices range on how dark you want to go, but nothing north of $35). You strip, cover your hair with a shower cap, put some lotion on, pop into the private booth, turn a few times (Mystic Tan lady voice guides you), dry for a few seconds and BAM...tannish over the next few hours. The studio is very clean, the woman at the desk very professional (no teeny bopper tanning gals here), and I was in and out in 15 minutes (non peak time!). Appointments are accepted. Special for new customers: Buy one, get one free! Hurrah, luckily I liked the first one enough to head back to cash in on the second one next time I fade to opaque. Should be about...next week. WHERE IS SUMMER? Tips for BEFORE spray tanning: *arrive freshly showered and scrubbed/exfoliated *do not wear deodorants, lotions, makeup or anything! *apply blending lotion to hands/feet. *have all nail services, waxing, etc done BEFORE you tan. *wear loose/dark clothing (avoid jeans/bras) :::::SPRAY TAN::::: Tips for AFTER spray tanning: *No showering, sweating, etc for 8+ hours. Longer if possible. *When you do shower, use warm (not hot) water, light soap. *Pat dry (don't rub it off!) *moisturize and tan will last a lot longer. Started coming here a few years ago when I lived in Ceres. I live in Modesto now and I still go out of my way to come to this location. It's always very clean, everyone that has ever helped me has been very friendly and accommodating. Not one bad experience to date. I've been coming off and on for about 5 years now. Beds are decent but always seemed clean. But the way they do their memberships is kind of ridiculous. Paying fees to cancel my account and then paying again just to re activate my account is a joke. Not only is there a slight fee to cancel, but you have to go in and get a slip then mail it to them through the post office. So inconvenient and annoying. Service is a hit or miss, you never know if you will even be greeted once you walk in. read more
