I have been to the salon twice now. After initially talking to Trish on the phone, who's the owner, I came in for a haircut and talked to her about changes I would like to make to my color. As you see by my first photo I am very white naturally with a little salt and pepper in the back. I wanted to add some darkness back in but I didn't want to worry about grow out for quite a while. I've done lowlights every 3 to 4 months to break up the white but I wanted more dramatic look but still able to wait a while between growouts. As you see by the other pictures Trish did a fantastic job. We were able to bring in darkness and weave in at the top in such a way that it's going to hide the gray grow out for several months. So if you value your time and value yourself I would recommend finding a different salon. I was a client of theirs several years ago. On three different occasions with two different stylists I had booked my appointments in advanced, arrived at the salon, just to find the stylist I had booked with not there. The first one forgot my appointment. When she moved I switched to a different stylist there. One time I showed up only to have her be 30 minutes late to my appointment because she wrote down the wrong time. In a future appointment she just did not show up and told me she got me confused with a different client who canceled. I took a break from Stone Fox. Recently I discovered that I needed to find a new stylist so I texted the salon and got the owner who said she would be willing to take me on as a client. She gave me another number to text and when I requested a wash, blowout and bang trim she just vanished. I texted her twice over the course of several days. Maybe she isn't able to do bangs but at the very least she could have taken the time to respond and tell me she couldn't make an appointment after all. Although the cuts I've gotten there in the past were always fine I've never had so many negative experience experiences at a single location. Jennifer May is my go-to hair designer. I've been going to her for as long as I can remember, and she never disappoints. She is so thorough and genuinely wants to make sure I leave with my hair the exact way I like it. While I was getting service done I observed another hairstylist and her clients not following the rules that are set. She did not clean/disinfectant the sink after she shampoo her client, she left a dirty towel and water under the shampoo bowl. Also her next client just walk in. Jenni May saved my day and hair!!! After having a horrible and frustrating morning dealing with another hair salon, Jenni May was able to turn it all around. First of all, this salon has a very quick response rate. I called and left a voicemail as soon as they opened and I got a call back within 2 minutes. Jenni is great! She makes sure you're comfortable, especially when it comes to wearing a mask and is courteous to put a mask on when I had to take mine off during the shampoo and conditioning. She made me feel very comfortable and I genuinely had a great time during my appointment. I got a cut with long layers and curtain bangs. My hair feels so much more healthier and manageable. Had an appointment with Connie Winters my normal hairstylist and she messaged me and said she had a fever and she didn't want to chance it it was the day before Christmas and I wanted my platinum blonde hair which Connie said she could do no problem, I've been going to her for 30 years. So I search for the only salon open the day before Christmas and I found Jen. She did nothing but tell me that everything I've been doing and everything Connie has done has been wrong and she proceeded to educate me as to why she couldn't make my hair platinum blonde and that Connie was using the wrong technique to bleach it which was damaging my hair so she said she needed to cut layers and add some brown into the blonde but then that would make the blonde really pop. When she got done I had layers the same length of my bangs in the back like an old lady haircut they stick out the top of my ponytail and clip, I have to wear my hair up all the time now because the layers are unmanageable and uneven. I did go back in for Jenny to attempt to correct my hair. Instead of blending my layers she chopped my hair even shorter and the layers were even worse. Never before have I cried in a salon. The owner did ask for a photo of my hair before and her response was well that's your hair pulled forward. Um yes but still it was attached to my scalp and should be an indication of the length prior to my hair being butchered. She did let me know that she couldn't put my hair back. I don't even know how to respond to that. She said she would check the cut and that Jenny was more than qualified. So yes I was given a full refund and left with the worst haircut. I did have another salon attempt to correct the cut but it is still too short to wear in anything but a bun. If you honestly don't know how to cut curly hair please don't try and fool anyone into believing you do. I am not sure what is so hard to understand. I just need my layers and length trimmed. I won't even go into the mess with the highlights again. 2 inches off the length was interpreted to 12 inches. read more

This place was absolutely AMAZING!! My experience was absolutely wonderful. I called kind of on a whim and I politely asked if it was possible I could be taken in as a walk in, the lady that answered referred me to JEN MAY, it wasn't a guarantee, it was only if she could fit me in that day, and my window was only between 11am-240. Jen called me back almost immediately and we got it worked out. I initially went in for a wash/deep conditioning, bang trim , and styled. Let me just say I HAVE A LOT OF HAIR. Jen took such good care of me and made me feel like a completely different woman. I felt so good about myself when I left. I was even able to leave to get my son from school and bring him back until I was done. They were so sweet to my son as well. I've always been terrified to let anyone cut my hair cause it's so curly but JEN MAY did so good , I would just highly recommend her to anyone . She makes you feel good and does exactly what you ask. I went into the Salon asking specifically for long bangs that i could swoop to the side and came out with bangs above my eyes. My stylist? Alec. Am I upset? Yes... yes I am. But could I do? It was already cut. Funny thing is, he did a consultation and even ask if i wanted my shortest piece around my check area and i said yes. I ended up with bangs above my eye around my eyebrow area. Instead of trimming my bangs while they were dry, he decided to do them while they were wet. That already was a red flag. Before I could even say anything it was already cut. As for the rest of the service, the shampoo part was not good either. He did not massage my head and did not wash underneath my head near the neck area. He just spray the water on the top and slightly scrubbed my hair. I came from a massage so I had a decent amount of oil in my hair and needless to say, it was still there after the wash. The rest of the haircut and blow dry was mediocre. I wanted something very simple; to only take 1/2 inch from the ends and from the layers. After the bangs were cut, I had to remind him to only trim my layers because not only did he give me short bangs, he gave me layers around the face that I did not ask for. Last but not less. He told me it was $40 for the hair service and then on charged me $41.20 on the square. When I asked why, he said it is the sales tax. Alec, I hope you know that you cannot charge sales tax on a hair service. People are not tangible things. I have never been so disappointed with my hair. I had to go home and fix it. I should have just cut it myself to begin with... and saved myself the disappointment and the money. read more

I will admit that its been hard to find someone who works with you to get EXACTLY the look you are gong after... I'm a guy...and I realize that the male gender does not make up the "typical" clientele for most folks who work at a salon, so dealing with our hair isn't necessarily the norm! We want it short... and if there is a mistake there isn't much left to correct it! With that being said...Sarah has nailed it from day one! I showed her what I wanted...she spent about 10 minutes analyzing my hair...my part...my natural curl/wave and cut that I wanted and then informed me how long it would take to get things where I wanted them. For me...it was about 4 cuts which equated to 8 weeks. I can honestly say for the first time in a LONG time, I really love my hair! The salon has a GREAT atmosphere! Its spa like! And while I feel her price is a bit high for a guys cut...I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS! You get what you pay for....other than your physician, the next most important person is your stylist! read more
