So we were NERVOUS trying out a new spot. There are sooo many hair salons in Oakdale how were we suppose to find the right one. We went shopping at KMart and decided to walk into Clipz and Stylz. With husband at hand with my 3 kids we walked in and the owner was busy putting hair extensions in a woman's hair and there was another woman working she was also busy. We really just wanted to check the place out and see what kind of feel we get. Now I am glad we stopped there. My husband wont go anywhere else he says he has never had a better hair cut since going to Maria. My daughter had gotten her her done and I have been there 2 in the last 3 months. I would defiantly recommend Maria or the owner to anyone. They are great. and Maria knows all the latest hair styles and trends

WTH!?! Bianka didn't schedule my appointment, it was the 1st time using this location, & someone else scheduled it 2 weeks prior on the phone. First, I can not believe that was the managers first thought... to reprimand an employee without even discussing it with the staff. Second , what type of management discusses human resource issues in front of customers & with clients listening on the phone? Oakdale Supercuts needs to invest in some leadership training for their management. I will NEVER use this location again. Bianka, thank you for doing your job well. Edvin at Hair by Edvin, located inside Salon Salon in Modesto, California, is hands down the best…read morehairstylist and hair colorist I have ever had. I honestly wish I had found him 25 years ago! I am exceptionally picky about hairstylists, especially when it comes to women's haircuts, hair color, highlights, styling, and keeping my hair healthy. Edvin knocked it out of the park from the very beginning. When I first came to Edvin for a hair consultation, my hair was in very bad shape. He immediately understood what my hair needed and created a plan to get it looking healthy and beautiful again. My hair has never looked better! I constantly receive compliments on how beautiful, healthy, shiny, and well-styled my hair looks. What really sets Edvin apart from other hairstylists is his incredible understanding of how a woman's hair changes throughout her lifetime. It is very difficult to find a stylist who truly knows how to cut, color, and style women's hair as it changes with age. Edvin absolutely does. He knows how to choose a flattering hair color and haircut that works with your hair, face, lifestyle, and where you are in life. He is exceptionally talented with hair color, dimensional color, highlights, gray coverage, precision haircuts, layers, styling, and restoring damaged hair. He also understands the importance of maintaining the health and integrity of your hair rather than simply trying to achieve a certain look. One of the things I appreciate most is that Edvin keeps it real. He listens carefully to what you want, but he will also give you his professional opinion about what will actually look good and what is best for the health of your hair. That kind of honesty and expertise is incredibly hard to find. On top of being an outstanding Modesto hairstylist and colorist, Edvin is a gem of a human being. He is kind, professional, dependable, personable, meticulous, and always on time. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his clients and takes tremendous pride in his work. If you are searching for the best hairstylist in Modesto, CA, an expert hair colorist in Modesto, a great women's haircut, hair color, highlights, gray coverage, color correction, dimensional color, or simply someone who can help you achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful hair, go see Edvin at Hair by Edvin inside Salon Salon in Modesto. If you have the opportunity to have Edvin as your hairstylist, look no further -- he is your guy! I cannot recommend him highly enough. Five stars aren't enough. My hair has truly never looked better!

I had hair that went down past my butt, wanted a change, but was terrified of letting someone cut it (everyone always chops off more than you ask for!!). I did a lot of research on stylists, and thank the Lord, found Edvin! After looking at his work, I trusted that he knew what he was doing and could accomplish what I was wanting. Going to the salon was exciting! He sat me down and we talked about his plan before anything else, and he made sure that I was comfortable with what he had in mind. He is seriously the sweetest. He cares about what he does, wants you to leave satisfied, and he indefinitely knows what he's doing! He's been cutting hair for decades. He is a joy to talk to. And most importantly... I LOVE MY HAIR!!!! Thank you so much, Edvin!
