This is my Go To market. Beautiful establishment with friendly staff in Cranston. Everything from bad snacks to healthy organic. Just bought prime rib for $5.00 a pound and it was amazing. I eat meat. And if it's kinda red and rare, Count me IN!

I love this Shaws. Never crowded, easy parking and super clean store. Self checkout is a breeze.

This review I'm only reading things that they had available outside for fall. There a nice selection of plants and pumpkins that you could choose from at reasonable prices. I do shop here but I shopping infrequently. I really don't like grocery shopping but this place is kind of easy to do so.

Blood Orange? More like an orange with a multiethnic background.

Love Shaws but this location could step up their game quite a bit. The produce is hit or miss but usually a miss. I bought a Blood Orange to use as garnish for fancy drinks but there's hardly any 'blood' in it. The prices for meat replacement foods (vegetarian sausages) is a little high and they are out of stock at times... The same goes for the soymilk - high prices and out of stock. WF doesn't carry my favorite brands of these items but Shaws does... So I'm especially annoyed when I have to make a second stop to buy brands that aren't my first choice. I'm always surprised that this location doesn't try a little harder to capture some of the $ people take to Whole Foods across the street. The employees are typically much more involved with one another than high service standards... But I think that's pretty much the expected outcome as a trade off to mostly low prices with ample selection offerings.

I like that the parking lot is really big and it's not crowded like the one on N Main. As soon as you walk in you can notice how well laid out and organized this store is...all the nice fresh produce on the right as soon as you walk in....then all the other departments as you progress inwards. I went in to get some Amazon Prime specials and a few grocery items. I like the 365 brand, it's a generic label but of very high quality. Whole Foods Market started in 1984 in Austin TX, and during those early years, it slowly opened stores in the South.....first in Houston and Dallas and then in New Orleans. The company made its initial public offering on January 23, 1992. While opening new stores, the company fueled rapid growth by acquiring other natural foods chains throughout the 1990s and the 2000s. In June 2017, Amazon purchased Whole Foods Market for $13.7 billion. In January 2019, to facilitate expansion into previously unserved areas, Amazon announced plans to acquire some former Sears and Kmart locations from Sears Holdings, which filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection on October 15, 2018. These vacant locations would be demolished or remodeled to create new Whole Foods Market locations. This is definitely a well run organic grocery store that has many devoted followers.

The buffet and salad bar was full of options that looked fresh and it was pristine (staff was literally straightening it up and stocking it while I was there). The Waterman store should take note, their buffet and salad bar are pathetic! There are a lot of tables to sit at and eat if you wanna grab something to eat before shopping at Garden City. They also have a really good fresh flower selection. You can also get nice holiday wreaths, mums and Christmas trees for reasonable prices. Don't get me started on the pastry case because everything looks amazing! I love the tiny sizes because you can try different desserts.

You will question your sanity at least twice before you even get through the front doors. That being said... the food choices are just too good. It's crowded, it's chaotic, and finding a spot is a full contact sport, but the food is so solid that I'll keep braving the madness anyway

Clean and well stocked and they get you in and out of the line fairly quickly even if it does get busy. I come here for their offerings on frozen foods, candy and snack options. Some of my faves are the Asian specific things like frozen gyoza, Korean scallion pancakes and mochi ice creams. Perfect place to shop for "Girl Dinner" items lol. They also have unique candy and chocolates. I accidentally bought a caramel flavored white chocolate bar (which I was disappointed at first since I don't like white chocolate) and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. They have niche selections which satisfy my big back cravings. Many of their selections go viral on tiktok and the things I've tried were worth it.

It has that old-school neighborhood market feel that seems to be disappearing, where you can walk in needing a few things for dinner and somehow find just about everything you were looking for. It isn't trying to reinvent the grocery store, and honestly, that's part of what I like about it. The meats and prepared foods are a real highlight. I've always been impressed with the quality, and the prepared foods are the kind of thing that makes it easy to put together a good meal without having to do everything yourself. The produce is another reason I keep coming back. It's consistently fresh, and you can tell they actually pay attention to what they're putting out rather than simply filling a display and calling it a day. The people who work here are also genuinely friendly. There's a comfortable, familiar quality to the place that you don't always get in larger supermarkets. Even when I'm just running in for a few things, the experience is pleasant. The store is clean, the prices are reasonable, and I rarely find myself standing around in a long checkout line, which is always a welcome bonus when I'm trying to get in and out. After all these years, Shore's has earned five stars from me. It's clean, well stocked, reasonably priced, has excellent meat and prepared foods, consistently fresh produce, and friendly people. More importantly, it still feels like a real neighborhood market. Those places are getting harder to find, and I'm glad Shore's is still here.
