Many waiting while one person works.

The slowest deli in the state, one person working most of the time and a break between each customer. You can see them drinking coffee and chatting while the line gets longer and longer, 25 minutes today for my order.

Many people that I know love Market Basket and when I drive by or stop by, I always see lots of people shopping in here. It reminds me of an old fashion grocery store that has slowly come into the 21st century.....many of the aisle signs have that "old county" style and letters, so that helps with the nostalgia.....but the offerings are all contemporary and plentiful. I was looking at their produce and I was happy to see their chayote squash for $0.99 each...not a bad price for them...but keep an eye on the sale items...they really can help you save...for example, this week the seedless grapes are $3.99/lb but next week they will go down to $1.99/lb. Next week it will be time to get some grapes and save ! So besides the usual tomatoes, apples, celery and onion, they carry some ethnic and specialty produce, which is a great thing for those who enjoy ethnic cooking. Lots of cash registers open to allow for quick checkout.

There are many great things I could review about Market Basket, but today it is about the bakery department, specifically the doughnuts! They are giant, 1 is unfortunately enough! Get there early, the best flavors always go fast. It might take a little more time, there is no drive-thru (!), but they are definitely worth going into the store !!

I'll never shop back at this particular Warwick location. The last time I was in there it was an actual joke. To make a long story short - I informed the bagger I wanted to bag my own groceries..she stepped aside for about 10 seconds only to basically push me aside and start shoving all my stuff into bags like a total a*hole. I reinstated I would handle it, she completely ignored me and was grabbing for stuff out of my hands as I tried to protect my fragile items from her dumbassery. It took everything I had to not freak out on her in the checkout I was so pissed off. Never had an experience like that ever before it was so bizarre. Stay away from this location it's SO GHETTO.

    So excited!

Is it totally weird that I'm excited about a new grocery store? Well I am. I've shopped at Market Baskets in the past and when in the area of one, often stop in for anything we 'may' need. Now that one is nearby, I am thrilled! There are plenty of grocery store options in our area, and we shop at several, but this one makes me so happy. The staff are always polite and helpful, the shelves well stocked and the prices good. We stopped in on opening day and every aisle has managers and other staff available. Every shelf was 'faced' (all the items pulled to the front so they look nice), every register open and the store busy. Out front they have a large selection of annuals and other plants for your garden and there is a register out there so you can purchase them separately before or after your food shopping. There is also a small fresh flower selection inside, over by produce. The set up is just like most other Market Baskets if you've been to one. If not, Aisle 1 starts with dairy, eggs, bacon, hot dogs, with cold cuts, cheeses and seafood along the back. Meats run along the rest of that back wall and in refrigerator cases in the middle of this wide back aisle. Produce is located in the last couple of aisles, just past frozen foods. At the front end of produce are pre-made food items including sandwiches, pizza, salads, and others. This store does not have a liquor license like some MB's do. It's a state thing. There is a limited number of organic produce items, a large wall of bread items and so much in the middle one lovely woman I chatted with was so overwhelmed she was beside herself with the available selection. It's the prices that get me excited, especially on their own MB items and the quality is good. I definitely have a 'favorite' store for grocery shopping, and as I was already sourcing items they don't carry from other neighbors, I don't think they will mind if I make MB my new 'go to' for those other things. I'm really quite excited they are in the neighborhood! You should go check them out.

Best quality and service at great prices. Better prices than Stop & Shop and lower prices than Daves. Highly recommend it.

My boyfriend got me a Ceasar salad today and there was a few pieces of chicken in it! So much for being a vegetarian.

I have found Trader Joe's the be reliably the best source for organic food items from fresh produce…read moreto dairy, at the lowest prices. A quick and easy stop. I also buy other ogranic items such as nuts and dried fruits as well as flour and sugar. Their turkey products are not as available as previously (I used those turkey cutlets all the time!) but they have plenty of chicken and beef. The cheese section is very good. Grind your coffee beans in house if you like. A nice tea selection. A few health and beauty items. Season items like fried onions for holiday cooking. Shared parking lot sometimes gets filled closest to the store front as there are several other businesses using that space. Shopping carts are stored outside by the door. Hand baskets are inside the vestibule.

For a change of pace, its not a bad thing. The asides are bigger and are slightly slanted and store is clean and simple. Now I would say it's a step above Aldis, but slightly more expensive. All that said, this store has a terrible parking situation. Small, shared lot, and the light is long and tends to back traffic up. They really could benefit from moving across the street to old Price Right where the parking is much more ample, and there's more space for traffic to back up. They could even add a little space if they did that.
