I was originally planning to order my usual gyro plate, but my server, Tanner (I know there's a Turkish version of the name and it's escaping me!), took the time to chat with me and walk me through the different dishes on the menu. Thanks to his recommendations and kindness, I decided on the Doner Kebab Plate -- and oh my goodness, the flavor was absolutely incredible. Beyond the amazing food, Tanner was warm, welcoming, patient, and happy to answer all of my questions. A male employee, who appeared to be the shift manager, with shoulder-length black hair came to the register from the restroom visibly sniffling. While checking me out, he wiped his nose with the back of his hand, leaving visible mucus, and continued the transaction without addressing it. What was even more alarming was what followed. I observed him enter the kitchen area and blow his nose over food. He then briefly ran his hands under water, in the kitchen, without using soap and immediately resumed handling food. He proceeded to work with hummus and place cookie dough onto a baking sheet, all without wearing a hair net or properly washing his hands. This level of carelessness with hygiene is unacceptable, and I would strongly caution others about eating at this location until these issues are addressed.

Tazikis' app allows you to customize and order fast so when I want a great meal without having to do much work, I am in an out quickly for pickup. My only small qualm is that they barely put any feta and kalamata olives on their salad so I end up adding from my fridge at home. Small detail, I know, but it's noticeable. The only other thing (that is out of Tazikis control) is that the strip mall/small business center they're in is pretty cramped for parking so be aware if you're headed there for dinner. I have a lot of choices in Las Colinas but I always come away pleased after Tazikis.

I stopped by Shawarma World today and wow, easily one of the best gyros I've had in years. The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and had those crispy edges that make every bite incredible. The tzatziki sauce tied everything together, and even the fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly. You can tell they actually care about the details here. I couldn't resist grabbing dessert and I'm glad I didn't. The homemade baklava was unreal, probably the best I've ever had, and the banana pudding was right up there too. The restaurant was very clean, and the owner was friendly and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in what they do. This place deserves more attention and I'll definitely be back. read more

The place lIt's scary and all the women were using masks in their faces. They charge you different price than they charge to their people and everybody there do not speak English The woman at the register get the trash and immediately she took the food without washing her hands.
