Friendly staff and easy to read menu board. I arrived right after they opened. My receipt says 11:01AM when my order was placed. After waiting over 10 minutes for my food, I counted a total of 6 people working. One person was wiping down tables, another was at the register, another was turning on TVs and the rest were loitering around the food prep area looking bored out of their minds. I waited a total of 23 minutes for a gyro and fries. I have no idea what took so long but it didn't sit well with me. The gyro meat was excellent and even the fries were pretty good. The tzatziki sauce though was just yogurt and nothing else, or so it seems. It was just smeared onto the pita. Given that this place is a bit further drive down the road, I will most likely not return. It's far away enough that I don't care to drive the distance. Out of sight and out of mind. Super decent food but lack of any urgency really deter me from returning. read more

I used to love this place; I would go like once a week. Their hummus is great and although I've had better chicken shawarma; the portion for the price is good. Great garlic sauce too! Thats my favorite... However the last time I was there the girl working as the cashier (ive seen two girls total; one is very sweet and has a pretty baby girl she would bring sometimes. This one is different. ) and she was a huge bitch. And I was so nice to her the entire time and she gave me nothing but attitude. For no reason. I guess because I stopped her from the nothing she was doing and inconvenienced her by placing an order? Oh yeah and she wouldn't let me substitute the fries for salad; so when she brought me my to go order I politely asked to borrow one of their squeeze bottles with ketchup to put some over the fries before I left and she legit refused. Would not let me use ketchup!! Thats on every single table usually!! She said there's some packets in there. Yes I'm aware. I dont like the packets as I'm on my way back to work and theyre messy thats why I asked for the squeeze bottle... I do not understand "bottom of the totem pole " employees who refuse a loyal customer whos being incredibly polite through their little 'fuck off' attitude vibe they give with every word they say. Its not coming out of your pocket; honey--and as often as I've been there I think I've more than paid for the right to use ketchup liberally the one rare time I order something with fries. Which like I said earlier; wasn't my choice but the only option she gave me. Needless to say I haven't returned and don't really plan on it after that because we all deal with enough crap every day; at least I know I do--and I dont need it from some rude, immature lil brat taking orders and checking ppl out when I go to grab lunch. Also let's talk about the sauce, sauce is important but you only get a tiny bit with your dish and it's not nearly enough. Sure you can pay 50 cents for more, just to get the proper amount that you should have in the first place but it shouldn't be that way. Soooo disappointed with our experience tonight. We have been longtime supporters of shawarma world but tonight was terrible. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken shawarma - it came without any dressing and had brown lettuce in it. Very Good Food. I ordered the Cheese Pie and the Hummus with meat to go. The portions are large, very good value for the money, but more importantly very tasty food. I feel the flavors are very authentic and that's why it had such a large Customer count when I visited. The Resturant was quite busy, the staff were very apologetic for the wait, but the wait was not too bad, especially when you look at the number of customers. Been coming here for 4+ years, the father and son who would always run it, provided service with a smile. However, the new cashier that works here has no customer service skills whatsoever. I was excited to eat here with all the great reviews, but it wasn't up to snuff. The wait for my falafel shawarma was at least 15 minutes, and the place was not busy. I watched them bring out food very similar to my order to another customer who came in after me - not a problem but the long wait made it noticeable. While waiting they sprayed some flowery purple fabuloso cleaner on tables in front of me, not an appetizing smell. When the food came, the fries were hot (must've been the holdup) but the shawarma was near cold by then. Unfortunately the wrap was cut up into six small pieces, so when I tried to pick it up everything fell out each time. Most places just cut it in half, probably for this reason. The flavor was ok, falafel was bland, but I ate everything. The sad translucent pink tomatoes didn't help any either. Fries were good! read more

Before the waiter realized his mistake my wife started eating. Naturally, once we touched it he could not take it back. The appetizer plate was adequate for two. There were two falafels, two dolmas, pita, tabouleh salad, babaganous and hummus. The pita was soft, fresh and warm. The hummus was good but the babaganous was excellent. The dolmas and falafel were also good. The combo shwarma plate was generous and included tomatoes, red onion along with the chicken and beef shwarma over rice. The rice was excellent. Overall, it was all good with a few items that were exceptional. That seems to be the case with most Mediterranean restaurants. This was as good as any in a casual atmosphere. While I was not overly impressed, I have only rarely had anything better. I definitely would go there again. read more
