I made sure to try this place twice before reviewing. Somehow both times I ended up behind a family that had no clue what was going on in line. The men working behind the counter handled the outlandish requests and complete cluelessness of the menu like absolute pros! The spice and flavor is so balanced. Perfect amount of heat. I could handle some more but it's preference not issue with menu item as it is alone. Fries are pretty epic. This is hands down the best shawerma I've had in Dallas. Sandwich comes wrapped in thin "shrak" bread just like they do overseas. Not too heavy on the spices or veggies, just like it should be. Their hummus is also way better than any other Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to in DFW. They take the extra effort to add some "dakka" on top, which is a mixture of ground parsley, garlic, and lemon juice. I went here for lunch today and tried the Chicken Shawarma ($4.99) and seasoned fries ($1.99). The wrap overall was great - it was a good size filled with chicken, pickles, garlic sauce and the whole wrap was then pressed/grilled. It tasted fresh and was perfect for my appetite as I find the local lunch buffet's or other ethnic cuisine offerings in the area to be a bit much in terms of quantity of food and price. I especially love the price point here for a wrap at $4.99! I would have enjoyed it even more if there was hot sauce, but they charge an extra 0.75 per container for that. I find it odd that they would charge extra for hot sauce? The fries were a disappointment. The seasoning was good but it was a pretty small serving and the fries were not hot. In fact, they were barely warm. The flavor was comparable to what you would get at Five Guys for cajun fries but they are not nearly as liberal as Five Guys with the quantity. I also tried their falafel ($4.99) wrap over the weekend and that too was on point. It had tahini sauce, tomatoes, pickles and maybe hummus? The falafel was made fresh and was crisp and hot. The picture on their website for the falafel looks nothing like the wrap itself. All in all, this authentic and fast casual Mediterranean concept is a welcomed spot to the neighborhood and I'm looking forward to trying more items on their menu. They switch the bread from the fresh hand made bread to the off the shelf bread without telling their customers...the fresh hand made bread is what made them different, outside of that...the rest of the ingredients including the meat can be found 5 other places in Dallas. My issue was with the sneakiness...Also they charge $0.75 for literally less than a squirt of any of their sauces!! The same Red sauce that Afrah, Arabian Bites or any other restaurant gives you as much as you want. It felt nickel and dimming. You can count 15 fries for $1.99. The hummus wrap is a great find for vegetarians looking to try more foods other than the go to chipotle. The spicy tandoori is no joke. The fries are cooked so well, really crispy. A lot of shawarmas I've had can be dry but these were not dry at all. I've taken out food here a few times, but every time before now, I've only gotten falafels. Their falafel is good, it's pretty much exactly what you'd expect. I decided this time I'd try one of the wraps. I got the beef shawarma wrap and was very excited to try it, because I'd loved them from other places. When I bit it, I was almost confused, because it just lacked any real flavor whatsoever. The beef was so flavorless and plain that all I could taste were the small tomato bits in the roll with it. They also got my order wrong and gave me the wrong wrap when I asked for pita. I also ordered it with some tzatziki to dip it in, which wasn't necessarily bad, but it was very basic and probably the blandest tzatziki I've ever had. I wouldn't say no to going and trying their falafels or their spinach pastry, but it seems like the wraps are extremely ok and basic.
