I really like their mango crema! It's so refreshing! I liked it especially because the crema part wasn't super salty like a lot of other boba places. Another favorite of mine is the matcha green tea crema. This is if I don't want the super sweet taste. Both of the crema drinks that I mentioned are great with ice cream as a topping (for those extra crazy days). My friend got the regular milk tea and my brother ordered another drink from the top ten drink menu! We loved our drinks! The wait time has never been too bad. I'm so glad this location opened up since I always come to this area to hang out with my friends. It's a bit weird to me how the entrance to the store is in the back away from the main street but oh well. Depending on how I feel I either get the taro with pudding, strawberry blended ice with lychee jelly, or the Happy Family QQ Cup. My friend introduced me to the QQ drink and it's most certainly the most worth it drink you can buy for the price. It comes with so many toppings (small boba, red bean, jellies, etc.) and is still under $4 which is great. I also like how you can reduce the sweetness since all of the toppings can make the entire drink very sugary. I will definitely be coming here more often. read more

This place is as terrible as its location in Berkeley.... Ambiance: definitely a lot more clean and sleek looking than their Berkeley location. Drink: I got the honey black tea at 80% sweetness and it tasted like I was drinking the honey right out of the bottle...though I'm not surprised...they were still training a bunch of people on a Friday night (bad timing for me..) Service: The guy at the cashier was friendly, even when I accidentally spilled some of the tea on the floor. I told them about the minor spill and the cashier smiled and said they would take care of it. But when an asian girl with wickedly dark eyeliner showed up she just glared at me, and then said that it was okay. PFT. girl. it is not okay. good riddance Sharetea. The old barcode! Since I came for the pre soft opening, I can't really say anything solid about the wait times. I waited about 35 minutes for my drink because they were still training. The service was pretty good, the girl in front knew a lot about the drinks. This place is similar to gong cha and cha time. The inside is pretty nice, and opposite orientation to barcode. It's well lit and roomy with little chairs and tables. Parking is limited, but you can park in the plaza next to it where the supermarket is and walk over. The green tea fresh milk is pretty standard, which isn't a bad thing. It tastes exactly what it sounds like - green tea with fresh milk. The coffee milk tea, however, is pretty good! It tastes a bit roasty and the grass jelly melts in your mouth. Can't wait to try their other drinks! read more

Visited during the soft launch, wait times were a bit long but hopefully that's expected since they're freshly opened! Great milk tea, perfectly chewy and slightly sweet boba, and great customer service. We ordered milk green tea and got milk black tea instead, they quickly made us a new milk green tea to make up for it. Wish there was more parking available in the immediate parking lot, but there's also space in the surrounding lots & streets. 4 stars only because of the long wait times, presumably things will speed up a little later. read more

Ok so I had just eaten Gen Korean BBQ which is walking distance from this location so you know my sodium levels were HIGH and consequently my thirst. I was pretty delusional at this point so my cousins lead the way and they walk me into this little tiny boba shop almost reminiscent of Gong Cha (Shout out to Gong Cha, I still love ya'll the most) but wow I had the wintermelon cream drink which is like the wintermelon foam drink at Gong Cha (my favorite drink there) and jeez I dunno guys like Sharetea might have the better drink here. I am a BIG Gong Cha advocate. Like, when people tell me they don't like Gong Cha I am a little hurt and take it personally. So, for me to say that Sharetea has a better wintermelon drink is huge. I can't remember most of the interaction with staff here because it was pretty quick and we just went in and out so I suppose that's a good thing. I had always love share tea. I have a friend who live near at this location so I always will stop by here before heading to my friend place. This place is located near the ranch 99 plaza. The location have a very little parking lot but if I can't find parking, I always end up parking in the ranch 99 parking lot. During peak hour, this location get very busy but the worker here usually work so the wait usually does not take long. I always come here to order the qq happy family milk tea. It is basically a milk tea with like 6 different topping. My go to drink as usually I'm a topping loving person. Overall the drinks here is awesome. The price is definitely worth the price. I go to the sharetea on homestead all the time and LOVE it! I was closer to this one today for work so I went to try it out. No thank you! First off the lady at the register needs to learn some manners and be friendlier. She acted so annoyed at everything. Upset that this location has barely any toppings and not as big of a menu as the homestead one. My drink tasted awful! It was pure watered milk, tasted like it's been sitting for days, boba was so soft it disintegrated in my mouth and had a weird texture and NO flavor. I'm not sure if that's how their drinks are supposed to taste, but my friends and me will not be coming back to this sharetea... I'm from San Jose and I'd rather drive the distance to go to the sharetea in Union city instead. I ordered a regular milk green tea, and it did not taste anything like milk tea. I thought it was just me, so I told my two friends to try my drink. After minutes of debating what it tasted like, we came to a conclusion of leftover cereal milk. I just threw away my drink when I got home. One of my other friends ordered a wintermelon lemon black tea and she felt like she had diabetes. We tried her drink and it was way too sweet. She tried letting the drink dilute for half an hour, and her drink was still way too sweet. My second friend ordered a strawberry snow or something, and he liked his. I remember how good the San Mateo Sharetea was, I remember how every time we try to stop by there and get some drinks.. however, I am not so sure about this one. Or maybe I have been spoiled in the last couple of years by One Tea, Gong Cha, Tea Top or even 85 Degrees? It's not a bad store at all if you are craving for pearl teas, and I am still thankful that it's very close to my house. As a long time customer for share tea I can't help hut be disappointed in how much the quality of this place has gone down. I tried using their online service on Doordash to pick up one of my favorites; the honey black milk tea. However due to their confusing menus that had all their items all over the place I ended up picking the honey black tea instead. No big issue, that was completely on me and who knows? This could be something good. I was dead wrong. This tea was absolutely DISGUSTING. It would be a stretch to even call this tea. To put it simply, it tasted like raisin water that left a lingering (not to mention bitter) aftertaste in my mouth. I was shocked. Was this garbage the stuff I had been drinking this entire time? Safe to say I won't be visiting this chain of milk tea for a long long time. Shatea is one of my to go boba places! This location is hidden and facing the residential area near the 99 Ranch and Gen KKBQ Plaza. Their boba and consistency of their quality is great. I always order the Honey Milk Tea with baby boba. It is refreshing, good and the taste is excellent. The place is a little bit small, but I usually buy and I am on my way enjoying my boba. Sometimes there is a line, but it does not take long until you place your order and receive your drink. I have never have any issue with my drinks. The only downside might be the parking in here. You can simply park in the bigger plaza next door and walk over though! If you are a boba aficionado then it is not trouble! Walk for some boba! read more

Ok ok. My last review 4 months ago, I rated them 3 stars. They had just open and my drinks weren't consistent. Drinks took forever to make. But I think it's about time I updated it. Yep. I gave it those 2 extra stars it needed to be 5 while stars. Whaaa? Like most people, we don't like to wait in long lines, but if you really think about it, they make good drinks and you're obviously not the only one who wants a drink from there. Just like Gong Cha or Target or Safeway, lines tend to get long because you're not the only person shopping there. Drinks are consistent now and your order gets taken and gets made quicker now. **Update: the drinks are just as good, but I'm concerned with their oversight on the quality, or lack thereof, of the tray/cup holders. These cups are rather elongated and tapered to be narrower at the bottom, and depending on what you order, some come with dome lids. I ordered two plastic sealed drinks, and one with a dome lid in which an employee placed all three into a tray for easier carrying. I carried them one hand on the base and the other to support the other three. The integrity of the tray is close to none, as it offers no support to the top-heavy design of the cups. POOR PRODUCT CHOICE. My drink toppled over, the dome lid flew off, and the cups snapped on the sides (cheap thin plastic cups). Very disappointing experience as I come here at least once a week... **Update 23 days later: I'm in absolute disbelief. I was holding the cups, one in each hand, and one of the cups splits down the middle 4-5 areas and my tea spills out all over me and the carpet and went to waste. I literally didn't drop nor squeeze it-- I mean how else am I supposed to care for a boba cup so fragile? It this only happening to me that the cups are so useless and have zero integrity? I come here sometimes with co-workers since it's a few minutes from my office. Their milk teas are REALLY watered down. It tastes like mostly water, with 2-3 tablespoons of half and half or milk in it. You can even see how watered down it looks when you're looking at the cup. read more

Came here after Boiling Point on a Friday night. Limited parking throughout this entire plaza so it can get tricky. I ordered the Grapefruit Jasmine Tea with light sweetness, no toppings. They only had one size for drinks, and with that their drinks are on the pricer side. It didn't have real fruit bits in it and the tea was just not amazing to me to keep wanting to drink more. I thought the drink was just average, and I love Grapefruit Jasmine Tea! They do have the Five Star program, as well as limited seating inside but group seating outside. Sharetea on Hostetter, you'll always be my first. The first time coming here, I was forewarned by my friend that they make drinks so sweet my teeth will hurt. I have a sweet tooth, but the drinks here are just too damn sweet at 100%. I have had the following drinks and have narrowed it down by my personal ranking. 1) fresh milk taro with grass jelly- this drink is on the pricier side. There are chunks of real taro in here as they scoop it from a plastic container and they also make it with fresh milk. Who would have thought taro, grass jelly, and fresh milk would make a killer combo? 2) Okinawa milk tea with grass jelly- yea, I'm in love with the tender, soft, smooth, and refreshing grass jelly here. Okinawa reminds me of the brown sugar milk tea from Gong Cha. 50% sweetness level is what I get here. I mainly get the two drinks above but I have also tried others with varying sweetness levels. I have had the black milk tea and green milk tea here but do not prefer those standard drinks at sharetea. I have stopped coming to this Sharetea about 6-8 months ago or whenever Gen opened in a neighboring plaza since it was impossible to find parking there during peak hours. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile. My cousins kept posting photos of her drinks from Sharetea on FB, and it looked good. My husband ordered the Taro Ice Blend w/ Pudding, 50% sweetness, and I got the Mango Green Tea Creama with less ice, 50% sweetness, and added pudding. Both were so delicious! Love the pudding and the mango pieces. I can taste it while typing this review yum. Every time we go there, we would order the same thing. It's been good each time we visit. It's addicting. Maybe someday when I'm tired of the Mango drink, I will try something else. I did try it with ice cream, although it was good, I couldn't taste the ice cream until I was almost done with the drink. The male cashier was very helpful, he helped us took out the ice but we heard the lady worker in the back complaining about having to take out the ice and said it was only some ice... we never ordered any drinks with ice no matter which boba shop we go, so what's the issue here? As a customer we didn't feel comfortable hearing this especially I'm also in retail business and one thing I know is no matter what happens, customer is always right. Terrible service alert! I went in looking to order a strawberry green tea, something I hadn't seen written anywhere on their menu. When I asked if they could make it, one girl politely notified me that indeed, she was able to make me a strawberry green tea. Meanwhile, a tiny Asian girl walks up to the side of her asking "why is she asking that? ... It is on the menu" Personally, as a pregnant woman, this tiny Asian attempted to make me feel illiterate. I completely am dissatisfied with the service I received from this incompetent tiny Asian girl. It would've been much different had she looked me in the face and kindly told me it was on the menu (when in fact, it isn't on their damn menu which is visible to the customers, unless they have a secret invisible ink menu somewhere else in their business ... What DOES APPEAR on the menu is strawberry BLACK tea - WHICH IS NOT THE SAME OBVIOUSLY). Yes, I do frequent here a lot. I can't help it. It gives me the pick me up that I need to finish my day and it congratulates me at the end of the day. How can I not be happy. They offer so many different types of teas, add ons, and different sugar and ice levels. They even offer non-caffeinated drinks too. I didn't know about that....good to know for future reference.
