Milk teas are tasty, but boba balls sometimes can be on the tougher side. Doesn't always taste the freshest, hence 1 star off. Also would like a human cashier returning in the future possibly. Located in the Metreon on the bottom floor right in front of the ticket counter. I always come here with coworkers since I work nearby and every flavor I've tasted is really good. They have a lot of variety here. Service is always quick and fine. I tend to go towards the fresh milk drinks because it's refreshing! My favorite fresh milk drink is the Fresh Milk Family drink with 30% sweetness. Even though it's only 30% sweet, it's still sweet. I love chewing on the pearls, pudding and herb jelly. The toppings make the milk sweeter, so I think if you put 0% sugar, it would still be a bit sweet. read more

@sharetea has always been one of my go-to boba places, especially with the variety and quality of drinks that they serve. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu here, and I definitely was very happy to try my favorite drinks again, as well as their new menu offerings, such as the sea salt cheese creme brûlée! Handmade taro with fresh milk: taro is always one of my go-to's, and I love how they use REAL taro here to craft this drink, which is super creamy and also caffeine free! Would recommend getting this flavor (over the taro milk tea) if you also prefer real taro over powder! Creme brûlée: loved how decadent this drink was, and how the layers melded perfectly into such a creamy drink once you mixed it! It's always exciting stepping out of my comfort zone to try new drinks, and their new cheese foam + creme brûlée series definitely does not disappoint! Mango green tea: this is one of my sister's favorite drinks, and I can totally understand why! I've been trying to lower my boba intake, but could not resist these refreshing drinks from Sharetea. I was able to stop by on a Thursday afternoon, and despite the food court being super crowded due to a conference, the staff were super attentive and quick in preparing my order. Here's what i got (from left to right): Kiwi Fruit Tea with Aiyu Jelly Mango Green Milk Tea Matcha with Fresh Milk (Oat Milk) Peach Kiwi Tea with Aiyu Jelly I'm glad we were able to try a few different types of drinks, because all of them were super good! I've never had aiyu jelly as a topping before, but now i'm a huge fan, especially when it's combined with the perfectly sweet kiwi puree. The Mango Green Tea was on the lighter side for a milk tea (which I prefer) and had a good, prominent mango flavor. The Matcha with Fresh Milk was also super solid!! I got 25% sweetness for most of the drinks and it was the perfect level for me, so I'd recommend reducing your sweetness level especially for the fruit teas. Order date: 02.11.2022 My first time trying Sharetea and it definitely did not disappoint! I wasn't sure on what to get, so I checked online for their most popular drinks. I usually go for a black sugar milk tea, taro milk tea, or something fruity. I was definitely craving something fruity this time, so I went with the kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly 80% sweetness, with boba and lychee jelly. The drink was refreshing, but I didn't taste much of the kiwi. There were a lot of the kiwi seeds, which indicates that they use real kiwi. It's just that the kiwi was super mushy. I like that the tea flavor did not overpower the fruity taste. This was my first time trying aiyu jelly and it didn't seem to have a taste at all. The texture was fun to eat though. It pretty much reminded me of jello. The tapioca pearls were really good. They have a sweet honey taste to them and thankfully they were not hard or undercooked. They were soft and chewy, but not like the overcooked kind. Aaaaaand, you can never go wrong with lychee jelly! I could eat spoonfuls of that stuff lol. This was order through door dash along with my coworkers orders. The reason why I marked off one star is because the customization for some drinks is limited. My first choice was initially Hawaii fruit tea with aiyu jelly. However, it did not allow me to make any customizations such as adding lychee jelly and boba pearls. There were a few people waiting to the side for their order and a young lady ordering at the cashier. I gave a quick look and debated between one of their specials and my favorite, a slushy drink. In telling the cashier my two considerations, she steered me away from the strawberry mojito, stating that it was sweet and sour. It was medium icy and the lychee jelly from the bottom gave it an interesting flavor change. Only after reviewing the website description in my drink did I remember that there was ice cream in my drink. If there was, it was indeed blended with the strawberry ice as it isn't clearly visible. Not sure whether this is on purpose or an omission. The cashier was curt but efficient and the two people prepping drinks were by the prep station when I confirmed the drink on the counter is mine. Not much different from my meal purchase as little if any interaction. Not sure whether I'll be back as this experience was a 3+; perhaps if something in the menu compels me. Service is slow, they need another staff. I ordered through Yelp, and it was said to be picked up at 1139a. 1139a came and order not ready. 1145a came, and still no order. 1149a, still no order. I can't even talk to them due to how busy they are. It's quicker if you order through their kiosk. However, if you have an event going on and you're unable to order through the kiosk, and your only option is to order online, I would not get it here. They only started making my 2 drinks after asking them about my order. Waited about 20mins after expected pickup time. Nevertheless, milk tea is still good. Street parking is free on Sundays. This location gets pretty packed on weeknights and weekends since it next to the AMC Metreon. I tried their Classic Pearl Green Milk Tea, Creama Green Tea with Boba & Herb Jelly, Mango Green Tea with Aloe Vera, and Kiwi Fruit Tea with Aiyu Jelly. I also tried their Mini Shaker Gift Set that they had during the holidays - it included sachets of Thai Green Milk Tea and Thai Milk Tea powder with a mini shaker, so you may try making your own milk tea (just add your own boba, milk/water, and sugar/sweetness as desired). My favorites were the green milk tea with boba and the kiwi tea (but I would add boba) - I feel like 50% sweetness is good. For the mini gift set, I found the sachets of the regular Thai milk tea to be my favorite - it tasted like a regular Thai tea, and I can control my milk and sugar adjustments accordingly, plus it was really fun. read more

Was feeling warm so I ordered a blended ice instead of a boba milk tea. Ordered from the screen, added aiyu jelly (it was that hot), and was very pleased with the taste of the mango smoothie mixed with aiyu. Two things that did bother me though. One is that the "blended ice cream" drink looks like a float in the menu but is not (Wushiland really gives you a float). Could not taste any ice cream by the way. Second is the order process where I was "called" both via text msg and by a person, but my drink was not ready even though a full 15min had passed (estimated time was 10-15). The lady who called me just left me hanging and gave no explanation as to what she was doing and it wasn't till another lady came to ask me what I was waiting for that she popped back over and said "just a minute". Lady, by now it's been more than just a minute. Particularly the Lime Mojito it's better to get less ice as the container seems a bit smaller. The only issue with this location is that there does seem to a bit of a bottleneck at the cashier station since both the self pay and cash only customers get funneled into the front. Therefore, if employees aren't aware someone is paying in cash, people can end up waiting for a while. read more

The boba here is average I'd say, I was honestly surprised there was a location up here but everytime I've had it in SD- was never a huge fan. Decided to see if it was any better up here. They also take a long time to make the boba, I get its busy but it's safe to say that I've seen busier boba places make drinks a lot faster. Coupled with the rude customer service...not coming back. I placed 4 drink orders on the self kiosk which was intuitive. I saw our drinks were ready because who else would have the same exact 4 drinks? When I went to get it, I told him my number but that apparently wasn't enough proof even though all I was given was a number. He proceeded to ask my name which I gave him (my legal name is Jennifer but I go by Jen sometimes). Anyways I kept saying Jennifer but apparently that was wrong. Frustrated, I showed him my receipt and then he said "oh...jen" and handed the drinks. (Facepalm) This is super confusing, at no point did I ever enter my name during checkout process. Lots of yummy drink options to choose from! I loved all the drinks that I tried here. The tea drinks had a nice tea flavor that was not watered down. Their fruits seemed fresh and very refreshing when mixed in with the teas. Pricing is pretty average for the area, but the cups are a nice size. I ordered everything 50% sweet but it was still a bit much so I might go a little less next time. They do have nondairy options as well for those who prefer it.
