It is on Powell street and Jackson street and it's called Ha Tea ( pronounced Hottie). On a Chinese New Year week stroll in San Francisco's Chinatown there is a place which you can find refreshing treat. They sell everything from a Durian Latte , Strawberry Latte, Onion rings, Fried Shrimp Musubi, and cheesy ramen. I got the Mango Slush and it was juicy and not too sweet but very refreshing. Went here twice within 2 weeks with different friends since it was convenient after eating nearby. There was no wait the times I went. They have a self service kiosk to order from but we ordered with the person working at the counter instead. The drinks were good but not great which is fine. The place seemed clean and there was a good amount of tables to sit at to enjoy the drinks and chat. One time I got the brown sugar milk with oat milk substitute and another time I got the mango slush. Both were good and no complaints. My only minor gripe about this place is that the menu behind the counter has very small font size so it is a bit hard to see from a distance. This is a really tiny boba shop on Powell street located right at the north of chinatown. It's a little bit past the stockton tunnel. There are quite of bit of snacks on the menu and I also saw a ton of fresh mangos there as well. We tried 2 regular milk tea type drinks which were good. Parking is a little bit challenging though but worth a second visit especially to try their fruit drinks or maybe something from their extensive fried food menu. read more

I've been coming here for years now. Today I decided to go order a hot milk tea and some egg puffs. I ended up only getting a Hot oolong milk tea because they didn't have egg puffs today. When I left, my drink was still hot even with a sleeve on. They taped the lid with 2 strips and it leaked from it on the way home. I suggest to change the lids so customers wouldn't be taking a drink out that leaks down onto their hands and possibly their clothes.
