The first time I tried ShareTea, I had the mango crema. It's different on how you drink it, but it's tasty. My fave go-to's are the hokkaido milk tea,classic black milk tea, or the fresh taro milk tea. My sister goes for the classic black or the passion fruit green tea. They are pretty efficient in getting drinks out as fast as they can. I've only had one bad experience with a girl at the counter not really wanting to be there and waiting for her shift to be over. Sharetea is the business!!!! The drinks are so yummy and delicious. They are pretty knowledgeable and have great recommendations. I typically order the same drinks. Blended matcha with red bean, no ice cream and iced black tea no sugar or cream extra ice and I save it for the next day. The reason to why I'm giving four stars is because the ice cream quality isn't the highest, in my honest opinion/taste and the staff members need to smile more!!! Cmon you guys work in a really fun environment with bumpin music!!! Even a smile would be nice :) This location tends to get busy but the longest Ive had to waited for a drink (with a line out the door) was probably 4mins max!! I had an incident where my drink wasn't made the way I wanted and the manager was friendly and told me to come in whenever for a replacement. The Sharetea standouts for me so far are definitely the Okinawa milk tea (cannot customize the sweetness level), their wintermelon tea creama drink and their honey milk tea! First of all, I love the location of Sharetea. It is in Renton Landing, where the shopping, the entertainment, and the dining are at. The tea tastes delicious! I ordered Honey Lemon Tea with Aloe Vera. It refreshed my mind after a brief headache in the car. There're also seats for you to sit in the shop , or you may choose to sit outside if there're available seating. The tea is not too sour with lemon and not too sweet with honey. I enjoyed the Aloe Vera cubes. There's an apps you're supposed to sign up to get 1 free tea after 10 purchases, but I need to get my butt on that soon. I am lactose intolerant, so I shall be back to try more fruit-flavored tea next time at Sharetea. It is a shame because I am sure the bubble tea choices taste great! read more

First time ever at a Sharetea location. My family and I ate at Papaya across from Sharetea and when we walked there I saw the long line for this place. I had to see what the hype was about! After looking at several pics on Yelp I decided to get the classic black milk tea with mini pearls and ice cream. Let me just take a moment to say this drink is perfection! This is probably the best bubble tea place in Washington State. I've tried many bubble tea places before - even the acclaimed ones in Taiwan - and Sharetea is consistently one of the best. I've been coming to the Renton location since they first opened in 2015 and the one in U District, so I am very familiar with the taste. I always get their fresh classic Black Milk Tea with Boba (80% sweet). The milk tea is perfectly sweetened with just the right balance of tea and milk flavor and has a nice, smooth mouthfeel. I like that they have the option to sub in fresh milk instead of using the powder. The boba has the perfect chew to them and are perfectly sweetened. I have tried their Taro Milk Tea, and although they use powder, I could still taste real tea in the drink, unlike other places. Another bonus is that the flavor/quality is pretty consistent across most of their locations (I can attest to this as I've tried Sharetea chains in both Taiwan and Hong Kong). I also appreciate how quickly they move the lines and make the drinks here. They consistently have enough supply to last the whole day, unlike some other bubble tea shops over in Bellevue. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and they have an easy to use stamp system via the Perka app. If they opened one up in the South/Downtown Bellevue area, it would be a major hit! read more

I'm done with this place and officially on boycott. It's under new ownership and gradually over the past year it's gone down hill. The old owners used to value my feedback and specifically reach out to me for small things like how I liked the new lids or cups etc. minor but it makes the customer feel special, valued & heard. So what happened? Well, I noticed the change almost immediately. First any creama drinks that were ordered ... they started refusing to provide a cutter to people that ordered multiple and just took the drink to go. Ok fine whatever... cheap but whatever. The cost cutting cheapness came through in everything. Their plastic bags were no longer branded and heavy duty but basic thank you bags. Next went the coffee sleeves. I always requested a coffee sleeve because sometimes the cup gets super hot. They told me "the sleeve is built into the cup." So I started requesting a 2nd cup. This worked for several months. Lines were insane and moved slowly. So many friends told me they stopped going because they're super slow now and it's more chaotic. I still went but dropped from going almost every day to once or twice per week. Next, they told me they no longer accept the 10% VIP customer discount card even though it expires the end of 2018. Seriously?!!! Just for 10% off?? They can't even honor that? Fine. I trashed it when I got home and was bitter. I now went only once per week, maybe. Over the summer, my bf ordered his honey lemon with aloe & it tasted awful now. It tasted like watered down lemon juice. He's convinced they water down their products. Then, this week... I walk in for my 2nd time because I had visitors in town so i took them on an obligatory ShareTea run as I usually do because I love(d) the place. Love the hot Hokkaido milk tea. Last night, I asked for a 2nd cup and they wouldn't give me one. The kid at the counter proceeded to tell me that the sleeve is built into the cup so it's not needed. Right, I've heard this a plethora of times. I told him they always give me a 2nd cup and he said "it's a new rule." They now have signs up at the register saying they don't allow it too apparently. What a slap in the face to the customer. That's when I decided it was my last time to this ShareTea. Maybe if I were used to being nickel and dimed the entire time I would have done 3 Stars. The cheapness and value of profit over customer is ridiculous and shows through in everything they do. Apparently it's all about short term gains versus long term now. Love it here! I am a bubble tea fanatic! I notice that they call it pearl tea here. A few of my Cali friends call it that too and here I thought they were weird! Go Hawks! ;) I've been sticking to the same thing, matcha green tea creama with regular and mini tapioca with pudding. My fiancé got this mango green tea with rainbow jelly, tapioca, and pudding. Way way WAY too sweet, but that was his own fault. I told him to ease up on the toppings, but he never listens to me so what else is new? It keeps the fire going folks, gotta find the humor some how. O:) My only gripe with Sharetea is that you can't really customize your flavor of choice, but it's authentic tea. You can mix and match toppings which is cool. This was my first time here, and i'd have to say this place was clean, and the workers were pretty nice. I think they picked a perfect location, everyone loves bubbletea, and everytime i went to the landing, i wished for a bubble tea joint, so happy it came true! I think they close early thoug :( I tried the oolong crema, i didn't know what it was at first and it sounded cool, so why not right. The top layer is salted whip? something like that. You cut two holes in it (they'll do it for you too if you want) I only finished half the drink because the rest of it was basically the cream itself, which isn't really good. Typically on a sunny day at the landing there will be a long line for this popular place and the only knock that I'd have is on more than one occasion they have messed up on a detail on one of our drinks for instance not including tapioca balls. 99% of the time though everything is great. Today I tried the earl grey creama. They cut two slits at the top that way you can get the taste of the cream with the tea. I let my friend try it and I'll tell you the same thing I told my friend. You gotta get deep in there, you can't just skim the top otherwise you're just tasting the cream...it was refreshing and tasty at first, but then the tea had a weird herbal aftertaste going on. However I hate waiting in really long lines for something that could be made in under 5 mins... not sure what's entirely up with this location, but every time I come, I'm always waiting in line for at least 20 mins for something so simple (black milk tea). I have no issues with their drinks, in fact, they're made consistently well. I just have an issue with their customer service and ordering process. There needs to be a more efficient way to get drinks made because every time I come here, the lines go out the door. The customer service isn't that great either so it doesn't really justify the super long wait. My first time trying this place out was the grand opening and the whole lobby (also being so small and compact) was full of people! The cashiers we're welcoming but I felt very rushed when I was ordering. The wait wasn't too long considering they has close to 8 people working on the floor. I ordered a blended red bean crema with boba and the crema (goes on the top) was delicious, creamy, and very rich. Although the red bean flavor threw me off I still give sharetea a 4/5 for how great their drinks are. Other times I have gone I always order Okinawa or Hokkaido with boba which are very sweet & you can't adjust the sweetness on these specific orders. All I can say is YAASSSSSS- I'm sooo glad they opened a Sharetea in Renton since its one of my most traveled commutes and close to home. I always stop by on the way to the boyfriend's house or on the way home 8) At boba tea places, I usually tend to get the traditional black/green milk tea but here I get the Black Tea Creama or Hand-Made Taro with mini boba and sometimes coffee jelly. As far as drink selections, there are a ton of drink selections that vary from fruit teas to smoothies/shakes so I am sure you will find something to your liking. The entire staff is super attentive and very friendly; they are always willing to offer suggestions if you are unsure of what you want. Unlike most places, you can adjust the sweetness and ice levels here, I find the drinks to be fine the way they are regularly but then again I have a major sweet tooth. I have visited on all hours of the day and find that it gets packed later in the evening, there will be a line but the wait is usually anywhere from 5-10 minutes which isn't too bad compared to other places that I have been to. If you tend to go on the weekends always expect it to be packed unless you plan on coming early. I really do love this place and I plan on coming back. I love this bubble tea spot because they don't fill your cup up with a huge amount of ice like other bubble tea spots... which is why I don't ever hesitate to order normal ice (: The tapioca here tastes so good! The lines are always long for good reason. Most authentic bubble tea this side of China. When I visited China in April I had their bubble tea with fresh ingredients and sugar and ice level options! When I came back state side I thought I would never be able to have bubble tea again because the real thing was lightyears tastier than the junk we pass off as bubble tea in the USA. But then I happened upon Sharetea and everything changed. It's 100% authentic, operates and tastes just like the bubble tea in China. I haven't done it yet but I am considering to download the app you use to register the number of orders you buy so you can get the 10th one for free, or something like that. I am a huge fan of matcha green tea and my friend normally orders a creama oolong tea. I never heard or tried creama so I decided to order the creama matcha green tea. Definitely a fan of this place and have already been here 3 times the past 2 weeks. My favorite things to order are definitely the Creamas! They're tea topped with a creamy salted foam which is hard for me to find outside of Asia. It'd be cool if they could do it for hot drinks too like they do at 85 degree coffee (LA area or in China is where I had it). I also like that you can adjust the sweetness of the teas if you don't want it to be 100% sweet. You can go down to 80%, 50%, or lower. Same thing with the ice. Sometimes too much ice waters down these types of drinks. I loove that it is at The Landing. It is so convenient to me and a nice addition to the area.
