Great tea choices for drinks, but they're way way way too sweet. Honestly I'm a salty and savory type of eater, but when it comes to deserts or drinks I try to keep it naturally flavored and not too sweet. Sharetea is great, but I asked her not to add sweetness to my drink and it was still a teaspoon away from me getting diabetes lol. Staff at certain locations can be awesome, and other locations are just really busy, so don't think they're being rude, they just have 80 orders and you should know what you want before hitting the counter Gerald lol ...anywho fully recommended it. read more

The location of the shop is perfect. You can grab a drink before or after or while shopping or eating at a nearby restaurant. It's a lot closer to home than downtown or the international district as well. The decoration is cute and inside is clean. I ordered a Honey milk tea with tapioca and my friend ordered a taro milk tea with mini tapioca. Both at 80% sweetness. I found mine little sweet because it was also honey flavored. The taro one at 80% was perfect for me. I really enjoyed the tapioca in my bubble tea today. The outside was soft and chewy in the middle. The beverage came with a good amount of tapioca and right amount of ice. Another thing is right when we entered the girl who took our order greeted us and everyone after us. Very busy, up tempo place. Venue is small, but located in a great place with shops, restaurant and movie theater nearby. The employees are quick worker bees, pushing out the orders at a fast pace. Taro custard blended drink was unique; custard tasted more like flan. The taro was not too sweet and had just the right amount of blend time. Not sure the two blended together was the right choice. The custard was just over powering the taro. Strawberry, ice cream with Lychee blend was like a lava flow. Fresh strawberry blended with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and mixed with Lychee boba. I honestly don't see the hype, the drinks are kinda average in all honesty I'd prefer oasis to this place any day. They seem to always mess up my order. The first time I went the girl taking my order "couldn't hear me" and messed up, then the second time around same girl... Can you guess? Yup still messed up my order even after remaking the drink again, they messed up. Went again today, third times the charm, updated staff, a big change from last time, she even flipped the screen to ask if all our orders were right:) still not my cup of tea but it's not a bad place for people who like trying new things. read more

I have been MIA from boba for awhile!! Been so busy! Decided to treat myself to 2 bobas all for me! Anyways so there are so many boba shops popping up (just like how when Poke got popular) A couple have been popping up and I know it's high demand for competition! I haven't posted my reviews for my ventures for new places because I just haven't found the words to use I think sharetea still the place I would continue to go to! It's not complicated and I feel there service is very fast! Not only for making drinks but for awesome customer service!! I feel like so many other places are a tad complicated. Sharetea has been consistent with their drinks and customers and anything new is always delicious! I believe they will have an outstanding business while other lounges will probably get slow! The bubble tea at sharetea is very authentic. This is my go-to boba shop whenever I am craving milk tea. The drinks are consistently good and the boba is fresh. I've never had a bad drink here before. The service is also very fast. This is a small shop and there isn't too much seating inside. This may not be the best place to catch up with friends. If you are here in the spring or summer, you can probably grab a seat at one of the benches outside the store. Overall I highly recommend sharetea to everyone! read more

It's always a good time for bubble tea! What I like most about Sharetea is how many options they have! I ordered the taro blended ice with pudding with 80% sweetness. It was so good! I'm glad I didn't get the regular sweetness because 80% was already a little too sweet for me. The pudding was great! Even consistency and tasted well with the taro. My nephews ordered the milk tea blended ice with boba and the strawberry blended ice with ice cream and lychee. The strawberry one was a little sour and the milk tea one was just right. 1. I would have given a 5 star if this Sharetea location didn't switch ownership. I'm not sure why the taste of the same items always change when ownership changes. But unfortunately since they have my friends and I barely Goto Sharetea anymore. Which is surprising since we used to go almost everyday!!! Whatever it is that they changed when they changed ownership they should change back! 2. Since Sharetea has been in the same location for a few years now I would have thought maybe they could somehow get through the long lines a bit quicker by now. I'm not sure how but they definitely need to take a look into how the can smooth out the traffic a bit. 3. The heat inside is sometimes unbearable. I definitely feel for the workers working in such tight quarters and literally right on top of each other. They just must be Dehydrated at by the end of the day. Because Danny in that long line with the heat is sometimes unacceptable and I just walk off. Thank God so far this summer hasn't been too high and it's been bearable if and when I go but if it was anything like last summer in just a big fan blowing at you yeah I would not be going in there at all during summer time. read more

I just can't quit this place! My best friend lives in the apartments across the street and every time I go and visit him, which is pretty frequently, I always have to make my way to Sharetea to get my Bubble Tea fix. I prefer getting my Bubble Tea here over all the other ones around Seattle. You don't get that powdery texture you sometimes get from other Bubble Tea shops. Whenever I'm here, I usually prefer the fruit teas. My go-to's are usually Pineapple, Hawaiian, or the Whole Lemon Green Teas with Pearls and either Aiyu Jelly or Pudding. I especially like the Hawaiian and Pineapple teas because they have little chunks of the fruit in the drink. Also, all the people behind the counter are so friendly. Even on the busiest of days and the line is out the door, they still find time to smile at you. But when they're not busy, they can get your drink to you lightning fast. The last time I went, my drink was ready before I even finished paying. Now that's service! read more

This is my favorite sharetea location! Whenever I come in here the employees are so friendly and make an effort to greet you everytime. Usually when I go to boba places, I find my go-to drink from that location and stick with it. But for sharetea I find that I like all of the drinks they have; whether it be a smoothie, slush, milk tea, crema, etc I LOVE how you can add icecream to your drinks. Really adds that creamy kick!!!! They have so many options here and all of their drinks are well executed. The point system that they offer here is on the perka app! My go to drink here though is the hokkaido milk tea add icecream OR the oolong tea crema! YUM! read more

So far I have not been disappointed with their bubble teas. Always good flavor and the tapioca is consistently of good texture. The place is small is tends to get pretty packed on the weekends. You get to adjust your ice and sugar levels. They do offer some unique toppings that you don't find at other places, but they don't offer fruit bits, which I really like. And they also have the option of adding ice cream to your bubble tea. I would be here more often if it wasn't so far out of my way; there are a lot more flavors I have to try. read more

I love going here! They make my favorite drinks, black tea with fresh milk and black tea creama. The lines tend to be out the door and they are very busy. They are pretty efficient in getting drinks out as fast as they can. I've only had one bad experience with a girl at the counter not really wanting to be there and waiting for her shift to be over. Usually, they are pretty nice. Whenever you go, just expect a wait especially when it is nice out. read more

This is probably the best bubble tea place in Washington State. I've tried many bubble tea places before - even the acclaimed ones in Taiwan - and Sharetea is consistently one of the best. I've been coming to the Renton location since they first opened in 2015 and the one in U District, so I am very familiar with the taste. I always get their fresh classic Black Milk Tea with Boba (80% sweet). The milk tea is perfectly sweetened with just the right balance of tea and milk flavor and has a nice, smooth mouthfeel. I like that they have the option to sub in fresh milk instead of using the powder. The boba has the perfect chew to them and are perfectly sweetened. I have tried their Taro Milk Tea, and although they use powder, I could still taste real tea in the drink, unlike other places. Another bonus is that the flavor/quality is pretty consistent across most of their locations (I can attest to this as I've tried Sharetea chains in both Taiwan and Hong Kong). I also appreciate how quickly they move the lines and make the drinks here. They consistently have enough supply to last the whole day, unlike some other bubble tea shops over in Bellevue. Overall, the prices are reasonable, and they have an easy to use stamp system via the Perka app. If they opened one up in the South/Downtown Bellevue area, it would be a major hit! read more

I'm done with this place and officially on boycott. It's under new ownership and gradually over the past year it's gone down hill. The old owners used to value my feedback and specifically reach out to me for small things like how I liked the new lids or cups etc. minor but it makes the customer feel special, valued & heard. So what happened? Well, I noticed the change almost immediately. First any creama drinks that were ordered ... they started refusing to provide a cutter to people that ordered multiple and just took the drink to go. Ok fine whatever... cheap but whatever. The cost cutting cheapness came through in everything. Their plastic bags were no longer branded and heavy duty but basic thank you bags. Next went the coffee sleeves. I always requested a coffee sleeve because sometimes the cup gets super hot. They told me "the sleeve is built into the cup." So I started requesting a 2nd cup. This worked for several months. Lines were insane and moved slowly. So many friends told me they stopped going because they're super slow now and it's more chaotic. I still went but dropped from going almost every day to once or twice per week. Next, they told me they no longer accept the 10% VIP customer discount card even though it expires the end of 2018. Seriously?!!! Just for 10% off?? They can't even honor that? Fine. I trashed it when I got home and was bitter. I now went only once per week, maybe. Over the summer, my bf ordered his honey lemon with aloe & it tasted awful now. It tasted like watered down lemon juice. He's convinced they water down their products. Then, this week... I walk in for my 2nd time because I had visitors in town so i took them on an obligatory ShareTea run as I usually do because I love(d) the place. Love the hot Hokkaido milk tea. Last night, I asked for a 2nd cup and they wouldn't give me one. The kid at the counter proceeded to tell me that the sleeve is built into the cup so it's not needed. Right, I've heard this a plethora of times. I told him they always give me a 2nd cup and he said "it's a new rule." They now have signs up at the register saying they don't allow it too apparently. What a slap in the face to the customer. That's when I decided it was my last time to this ShareTea. Maybe if I were used to being nickel and dimed the entire time I would have done 3 Stars. The cheapness and value of profit over customer is ridiculous and shows through in everything they do. Apparently it's all about short term gains versus long term now. First time ever at a Sharetea location. My family and I ate at Papaya across from Sharetea and when we walked there I saw the long line for this place. I had to see what the hype was about! After looking at several pics on Yelp I decided to get the classic black milk tea with mini pearls and ice cream. Let me just take a moment to say this drink is perfection! Not too sweet not too bitter. Love it! I got my dad the mango green milk tea with regular pearls/boba. It's more flavorful than mine! We are big Share Tea fans and especially my kids. Typically on a sunny day at the landing there will be a long line for this popular place and the only knock that I'd have is on more than one occasion they have messed up on a detail on one of our drinks for instance not including tapioca balls. 99% of the time though everything is great.
