Thank you for your response. While I agree with the sentiment that changes will always make someone unhappy and that the change is made for the better, the point is that not letting your customers and patrons utilize what they have left (I.e. the stamp cards) is doing a huge disservice to them. The stamp cards are already given out and collected. Why not let them use it up until the cards are out of circulation? There is nothing gained from rejecting these stamp cards as the stamp cards have already been made and processed from materials and are already used. By throwing them away AND not getting the free drinks I accumulated certainly does not help anybody. It is not the change that made the people upset, it is not letting your patrons use and finish the stamp cards that they already have. read more

I have 9 stamps and last time I come just 2 weeks ago. I want to buy one and redeem one free. They said the stamps is no longer accepted. WHAT? I already have 9 stamps and they have no mercy. Rude and cocky service. They charge a 3% credit card free. When I tried to pay with a 100 bill, they refused my cash and insisted on charging the fee. Manager tied to shame me by saying " it's only 30 cents". Well if it's only 30 cents, why don't you waive the fee? Needless to say, lost a customer for life. If you are one of those affected by the recent "gift card" fiasco, please do report to the California Consumer Affairs, the Dept of Justice, and BBB. Let your consumer voice be heard! The store effectively by pass the regular GC regulations by charging cash-only and issuing "fully stamped loyalty card" (that can redeem for drinks) in lieu of a "gift card." This is a questionable practice to begin with and now the store's refusal to accept and honor these GC is seriously impacting customers who have purchased the cards (thinking these would have been protected following the guidelines for gift cards, which should never have an expiration date). There are customers who have purchased upwards of $200 of these GC which is not a small amount of money. (Info directly referenced from the customers) The store owner needs to step up and resolve the issue and NOT leaving consumers high and dry, out of luck, and out of money. read more

Absolutely love the mango peach fruit tea! There's no additional sugar so it was the right amount of sweetness for me. Their boba is always very chewy as well. For covid, they provide hand sanitizer at the entrance and everyone waits outside after placing their order. read more

I'm so happy there's another Sharetea location in the SGV! The shop is nice and clean, and they seem to be very efficient in their operations. It's a shame the reviews are so critical but for me, I like it so far! So far I have gotten the Class Pearl Milk Tea and Wintermelon with Lemon Juice, and I prefer the classic drink more. The wintermelon had a funny taste to it, but it's probably just me. I'll definitely be a frequent visitor in the future so I can try more drinks! read more

Jason, you are truly the best! I made a mistake in my previous review, the owner is actually Jason. My bf, cousins and I came back to get our boba fix and Jason actually remembered us! He even remembered what drinks we ordered previously (and it was a huge order for 10!!). He is super personable and makes you feel right at home whenever you visit. Even though they ran out of stamp cards, he reassured me to bring back my receipt and he'd stamp the card for me as soon as he receives more! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and our HUGE orders are always made super quickly and extra delicious! Even though it is always packed, you will never wait too long for your drinks! 03/02/2018 Soft Opening on Friday night. Grand Opening happened on Saturday. Grand Opening has an amazing promotion for everyone to Buy 1 Get 1 Free. I wonder if you only buy 1 drink and you get that for half off? I didn't get to find that out. The layout is sort of unusual. It is at the end of the building taking on the corner so the counter is angled to the corner too. Make sure you look up because there is only one door to access. The door has the sign higher for you to read. You push instead of the typical pull to open the door. So don't stand inside in front of the door or you'll get smacked. There are many options on the menu. Milk is used for the milk teas and fruit for the fruit teas. I saw at another location the name of the drinks but didn't really have a description. I wanted to try the Okinawa Milk Tea because it describes it as (Roasted Brown Sugar). They were out of mini pearls so they said I can select pearls. Basically it's boba I'm picking. That's extra for toppings. I really tasted the roasted part of the brown sugar in this drink. I think I found my new favorite. You can always choose their "healthy" option for the sugar level. This Sharetea is brand spanking new! Just opened up on Duarte in Arcadia. I came here on a Monday right in the afternoon so the place was flooded with students from the neighboring schools. The service was alright. He was really good at getting my order right and going through the motions quickly (a plus when a new shop opens since it's like a new system and new employees and everything). He was super friendly or provided me with exceptional service so for a new shop I singed one star for that. The drinks were nothing special. Their lemon winter melon tea was subpar. I've had better lemon winter melon tea from the location in San Gabriel. I truly enjoy coming here and have now got my mom coming here too. The owner is typically present and it is always great customer service. They are very transparent about sweetness levels of drinks and recommend based on your preference. My husband is more adventurous and tries different drinks, and he enjoys them all. I tend to stick to the same, a milk tea blended with boba. My mom enjoys the fruit drinks with crema. The boba is also perfect too. I love what my brother has coined, third generation Boba! Having been a teenager throughout the first generation in the 90s in the 626, coming back to visit my family and seeing these new spots really make me excited! This is actually the first review that I have written, so if I were to write a review, it would be something serious. I usually go to boba shops to study and when I saw the closing time for Share Tea, I was interested in going there for a quick study session. But when I got there, they told me rudely that I had to order a drink if I wanted to study there, but when I went to Tea Brick, they did not say a word. Thus, I was peer pressured in buying a drink and the drink itself was alright, until I heard that there was a 3 percent service fee. That is really shady there since nearly all other boba shops in Arcadia do not have any fees, especially when using card. The place itself such as the seating area felt so melancholy because there was barely any furniture, and most frustrating is that when I asked for the wifi, there wasn't any. I was shocked because I while back when I went to this exact location, they offered wifi. Such a let down, please do not go to this store. Drinks are decent but as a fellow restaurateur they need to make better business decisions. I ordered almost $70 in drinks. When I was about to pay the server told me there would be a 3% processing fee if I paid credit card. This is just a bad decision on their part. They should just increase prices by 1-1/2% across the board and pass it on to customers. I decided to pay in cash to save on the CC processing fee. I have been to other Sharetea locations in Cerritos, and San Gabriel but super excited about the new location in Arcadia! Sharetea has always been one of my go-to for drinks, but I am unimpressed about the taro ice blend with pudding. I saved the drink overnight and noticed that they use a taro powder it seems like. It would be nice to use the actual taro root, or a non artificial flavor. Nonetheless, the drink is really good, but knowing that it's not the real taro root with a sweetener is disappointing. I have tried some of their milk teas, and those are pretty good. ie.honey milk tea I would highly recommend those drinks. But overall, the drinks are pretty sweet and tasty. A parking lot is located behind Sharetea, but parking is also available in the street on the restaurant front. There are some chairs and tables inside for you to converse and enjoy your drinks in a group setting. I love the location of Sharetea, but I think their drinks are use some improving if that is all they're going to offer. This is a 3.5/5 rating because of these reasons. read more

After waiting through a long line, I ordered a kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly with less ice and no sweetener for my girlfriend and a mango and passion fruit tea with less ice and no sweetener for myself. The mango and passion fruit tea was amazing. It had little bits of flesh as well as some passion fruit seeds at the bottom. The drink was also decently sweet even without sweetener added. Overall, I thought that the drink was much better than other tea places taste wise and quantity wise. They also filled the cup to the brim even when I asked for less ice, which is a major plus. Such a cute boba shop. The decor is very modern with multiple tables to study and get work done. Drinks: I got the Mango Green Tea with Lychee Jelly 80% sweet. It was really good, perfect sweetness and I liked how there were mango bits in it. My boyfriend got the Hawaii Fruit Tea and the worker recommended him get it 30% sweet as the drink is already sweetened by the fruits. There used to be a Sharetea location in San Gabriel but not anymore. I was around this area and saw this location on Yelp so I stopped by for my favorite drink, Classic Black Tea with Ice Cream #12. I also got Strawberry Ice Blended with Lychee Jelly & Ice Cream #48 and Thor with Aloe & Aiyu #S6. It was my first time at this location. I found parking on the street right in front of the store. I love sharetea! I ordered classic milk tea with boba and wintermelon honey lemon juice with lychee jelly. The boba is nice and chewy but a little hard. I think it can boil for another 3 minutes so I can be a little soften so doesn't take a lot of effort to chew. Wintermelon honey lemon juice.. can add more lemon juice to be more citrus flavor. Regrettably, I have to write this business a negative review. Recently, my family wanted some boba tea type of drinks after shopping. My brother in law knew about ShareTea, and drove to this place specifically. This store had a dedicated parking lot with many spaces, so convenience wise, not bad. It seemed to be very popular with the younger crowds. I saw a lot of kids of high school or college age. Not exactly my scene, but the building, both exterior and interior, looked modern and nice. Maybe they just opened not a long ago? The menu boards were also brightly colored and very easy to follow. Thumbs up. My cashier (and server, the same person) was very quick on his feet and polite. I ordered the recommended kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly. The worker recommended me to get either 30% or no sweetness added. Very attentive; I appreciated that. My brother in law ordered some kind of boba milk tea with "creama", which was a form of cheese foam? This was foreign to me, though intriguing, I didn't wanna try something new that day. (I AM SO GLAD I DIDN'T.) Drinks were kind of pricey, but it's in line of what you'd expect from these places. Service was fast. We received our drinks within the next 5 minutes or less. They also have a loyalty stamp card program. (Buy a drink, get a stamp, collect stamps, free drink, etc.) No check-in bonus for Yelp, however, sadly. Now let's talk about the drinks: My drink, kiwi fruit tea, was basically a sham, but a very delicious one. It's basically orange green tea, with some form of kiwi added in it. I could feel the texture of some kiwi fruit flesh, I could taste them when the fragments landed in my mouth, but that's about it. Kiwi was just a name-dropped, featured player. The rest of the time, it was mainly a citrus fruit tea. The aiyu jelly was a nice touch, though! Chewy, fun to eat, with a light sour taste. The entire product was summery, refreshing, and I would buy this again. My bro in law's drink, which he shared with my sister, was an entirely different story. He specifically got the creama (cheese foam) because it's the latest craze, and when they previously got it, they loved it. BUT TODAY, SOMETHING'S OFF: THE CHEESE FOAM SMELLED QUITE BAD. SO BAD. IT SMELLED LIKE FEET. NOT KIDDING. Against their better judgment, they kept drinking it despite the foul smell. They, and even I, thought they used some form of special cheese that was more pungent than usual. After all, there are varieties of cheese out there that smell quite "bad", that would be strangely considered delicacies. And even though it was an olfactory offense, it tasted fine--So they kept drinking it. However, the smell continued to bother them. Even the plastic cup that was holding the drink smelled gross, and my sister's hand also started to smell after holding the cup. At this point, I thought, it couldn't be bad cheese, could it? Or some form of germs? They found out soon enough the same night. My sister started to have diarrhea, in fact, 2 episodes of it. But after that, everything cleared up. So she didn't think much of it. To everyone's dismay, that wasn't the end of it. The very next day, she started to have more loose stools, and her husband was also starting to have very similar symptoms. Eventually, hours later, they started having fever. Now, it's a solidly confirmed case of food poisoning. I do realize this could be an isolated incident, and however much I loved my own drink, I don't think I would have enough courage to return to this particular location again, after witnessing this disaster's unfolding. It's a shame, really, because had this not happened, ShareTea would've easily earned its 4 stars. Unfortunately, since my family is still having extremely uncomfortable stomach illness as I am typing this up, I gotta give it 1 star. I am truly sorry. read more
