Sharetea is def one of the better boba places around Arcadia! I actually don't go often since I somehow tend to forget about this location.. (over AU or Half and Half or Chatime) BUT it's still a favorite! Their QQ Happy Family milk tea is preeettty bomb and if you love all the chewies, you'll enjoy this forsure. It's got pudding and boba and all those other happy boba fam members lol. Their drinks are on the sweeter side so I'd go 50-75% sweetness on your usual order elsewhere. Lots of other good options on the menu are their fruity teas or sweeter oreo ice blended or my personal favorite: wintermelon with lemon! I think their prices are actually comparable or cheaper than other places so that's a plus too. If you're in the area, it's a nice small boba shop to stop by. Okay, I generally love this place and I seriously come here often enough that I just keep those stamp cards in my phone case. HOWEVER, today sucked. I generally purchase a tarp pearl milk tea with 50% sugar and less ice which is great by the way. But service was terribly today, usually they're great honestly, but I just purchased two drinks and first of all, the lady doing the transaction didn't give me any change when my totally was around $9.50 and I gave her $10, which isn't a big deal, but seriously though, how can u forget to give change. Also it wasn't even packed or anything, at most there were three people ordering and I was the first in queue, however it seriously took forever. Like honestly, I was totally surprised by how long it took cause usually, they're efficient and lovely even when they were packed they were wayyy faster. And the lady was rather rude and kind of threw the straws in my direction, but that's honestly not a big deal. I'm just saying that those two employees weren't great compared to every single other employee I've seen, kind of sad and ridiculous if you ask me. However, I do really like this place so I give it a 3. Another thing to note, they have bogo 50% off from 4-7 pm, but sometimes they completely forget (its happened to me) so if you're there for it, just remind them. My most recent visit to this particular Sharetea chain store was surprisingly unpleasant, to say the very least. The drink server, who seems to be mentioned in a number of previous reviews as well (!), seemed to be in a foul mood and was tossing things around in a loud, callous manner when preparing the drinks. He then abruptly dropped off the drinks at the counter without saying anything, prompting me to have to look at the drinks myself to determine if the drinks were ours. Moreover, he incorrectly added too much sugar in my standard jasmine green milk tea with 30% sweetness. When asked to redo the drink, he didn't say anything in response nor did he say anything when he remade the drink to determine if it was correctly made. The drink cups were also left sticky on the outside, which created a mess. I am appalled by the utter lack of customer service by this individual and have never been treated this way at any other boba shop before. However, the girl who took our order was very friendly and professional - a stark contrast to the drink server. To be honest, if I see him working at the drink counter again, then I may consider patroning another location instead. read more

I went to Sharetea recently and ordered the boba milk tea. It was good and I recommend the drink since it is a classic at all boba stores!! The customer service from the workers was good and they seemed very nice, but I noticed that one of the guys (may have been manager) was yelling at a worker. It just made my friend and I very uncomfortable and we tried to not pay attention, but it was hard since he was yelling aggressively...A lot of the customers and workers there also kind of just looked around. I would come again to try out new drinks, but I'd enjoy it more if the environment was more professional. read more

I like to call beforehand to receive my drink immediately because theres a crowd in here sometimes, but sometimes when I come in, they claim that I never called.. or they have my order on a notepad and apologize for forgetting. Loove boba, especially Sharetea, a popular chain. I was beyond excited that they opened one up here. As is everyone else since this place is always packed! So be prepared to wait, even with a short line there can be quite a wait. Think they're still working out some kinks. My go to is always green milk tea (with Lychee jelly). I am addicted to how delicious and fragrant their green tea is with the perfect ratio of milk powder. You can always adjust sweetness but it's perfect for me here (the regular teas may be a bit sweet according to my sister). But I don't recommend this as a place to mingle since they blast club music like most boba joints. read more

This place is a hit for what seems like a local customer base, me included. Ok. First things first. I love boba! A lot of it! I love it I love it I love it. So when I say extra boba, I am serious as a heart attack! And they did give me a lot of it--so much that when I got to the bottom of my drink I was shocked to find I still had a lot of boba! Now that's what I call my kind of place. Even more, I love iced tea. Black please. And I don't like sweet tea so they give you the option to select your level of sweetness. Ok that's nothing new. But I love that they use percentages, not number of pumps like Starbucks which honestly is never accurate for me. Anyway, they have lots more flavors and other blended drinks. But for me it's honey black tea, no milk, no sweetness, extra boba and ice! Bottom line, this is the Starbucks for tea. Yes, it is THAT popular! But don't worry about parking. the strawberry lychee ice with ice cream is my fave and is amazing. BUT, I do not appreciate their terrible customer service. First of all I waited over 30 minutes for someone to make my drink. I normally wouldn't mind waiting if there was a lot of people but there was only 2. Then when he finally got here he had a horrid attitude and almost overcharged me. Pretty disappointed at our experience today around 5PM. We had ordered a couple of drinks and wondered why it was taking 15 minutes for our drinks to come out. We had approached the counter to ask about it and one of the employees pointed out our ticket which they completely forgot about. It was very apparent that they had misplaced/forgotten the ticket, but one of the employees still had the nerve to tell us, "Your drinks are almost finished bro." We waited another 6 minutes, yes we timed all of this literally because we got so impatient just counting down when we were getting our drinks. read more

Haven't been to this location in a few months but stopped by earlier to get some boba drinks on a hot Friday afternoon with my kids. As I was about to place my order, the store manager (I assume) standing a few feet away saw me holding a stamp card and told me that they are now using a new program instead of the paper stamp cards. I said OK, so the points (x8) that I have accumulated on my stamp card will get rolled over to the new digital program, right? The manager said no, and started saying that they have announced this change for 2 months (April and May I guess) and that as of June 1, all stamp cards were discontinued. I asked him if there's anything that he can do because this type of action really leaves a bad taste in customer's mouth. I told him that I haven't been to the store in a couple of months and I have never heard of the program change. He didn't care...he told me that if he allows for the stamps to get converted into the new program, he and his staff would be too busy converting 10,000+ customers. I told him to stop with the exaggeration and asked him if it's more important that his customers get treated right, or is it more important for him to rebuff customers due to the "troubles" that their program change has brought to themselves? Finally, I told him that this basically comes down to a $3 problem and that he could just give me a free drink, as the 8 stamps that I have accumulated over the months are basically equivalent to that amount. It's a shame that he (and perhaps Sharetea company as well?) is unwilling to resolve a $3 or $4 issue. This type of frequent patronage program is based on good faith from both the store and the customer. Sharetea and the Arcadia store obviously have no regard for good faith. If I remember correctly, Au79 went through this type of program change a couple years ago, and they simply rolled over the points from the old platform to the new program. Everything's good, no trust broken, and business as usual. As a result of this bad experience today, I will never ever purchase anything from Sharetea, not in the US, not in Taiwan, not anywhere else. Same goes for my family and friends, I will let them know to never buy from Sharetea... There's simply too many boba shops to choose from instead of this unnecessary aggravation. Last words... If a store manager can't resolve a $3 problem in front of his employees and other customers, that person really has no business being a store manager. After reading the Yelp reviews here regarding this stamp card issue, it's apparent that the store is happy with turning its back on the customers. If a store cares so much about $3, I suppose it'd be natural for them to cut corners on cost, quality, service, etc. And if the person who interacted with me today is the franchisee, then it's just downright sad. All of these negative publicity on social media and bad will that you have generated will cost you way more than the few dollars that you saved. Took 15 mins to write this long negative review but I hope other customers won't have to experience or put up with this type of nonsense in the future, not with Sharetea, and not with any other businesses that value themselves over customers. read more

Maybe I'm spoiled by the San Francisco's location because I'm not impressed by their boba at all. My bf and I stopped by before driving back up to Vegas. When we first walked in I noticed how small the location is. My boyfriend told me all socal's Sharetea are typically small. The interior is super clean and bright. Since they are still new they don't have their full sharetea menu yet. My boyfriend got the wintermelon tea and I got the wintermelon milk tea with boba. I asked for light ice and 80% sweetness. Btw they don't accept American Express! The order took around 8-10 minutes since there were other people ahead of us. When I first tried my drink it was perfect balance of sweetness however their boba was super chewy on the outside and hard inside. You could tell their boba wasn't fresh. After a few hours the drink became super sweet to my liking, so maybe next time I will ask for 50% sweetness. They do offer stamp card so make sure to ask. One of my favorite places for boba in the SGV! This place is fairly new so it is a nice hangout spot. A few of my favorite drinks from here are the wintermelon milk tea and oolong milk tea. FYI drinks and boba here are on the sweeter side. I've gotten drinks from here with 25% sweetness, but it was still too sweet for me. This review is current as of 2/22/17. The store is currently NOT OPEN despite what Yelp says but they will soft open in a few days and grand open in a few days after that. They're currently training their staff so we were allowed to order our drinks before soft opening to test their staff. I asked what was the hardest drink to make and the cashier said the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea and any of the slush ice drinks. So I ordered the QQ Happy Family, an oreo slush milk tea with pearl, and a taro milk drink. The place was very lively as I assume the owner was there. Everybody was busy making drinks. The drink was good. It was actually surprisingly good since I had Sharetea up when I was living in Davis, CA and it was not impressive up there. The Taro drink was made using real taro and you can definitely tell. It doesn't have that artificially sweet taste. The Oreo drink was good but there's room for improvement. The drink was not blended very well as there were still uncomfortably large bits of ice the size of the pearls themselves. It's almost as if as you're drinking, you have this smooth melody playing then the record scratches each time a bit of ice comes shooting into your mouth and you're forced to chew it or attempt to swallow it. The last bit of improvement I would suggest is that the staff should relax and be more natural! I could sense the nervousness in them especially when they talked to us. Really underwhelming. I came here during the grand opening several months ago and got the Hokkaido Milk Tea. It was awful. It did not taste like Hokkaido anything. It actually tasted really weird, like coconut oil, which I LOATHE. I love coconut water and coconut milk but the taste and smell of coconut oil is so gross to me, so the fact that that's what my drink tasted like was so disappointing I threw it away. Soft opening so they are giving out free drinks (one per person). The Mango green tea creama = delish!!! Tastes like a real dessert more than a drink. It's almost just as good as the one I had in Cerritos hehe (the first time I had it). I am glad they opened in Acadia because it's so much closer than San Gabriel, and I would always try to swing by whenever I was in that area because I was craving their creamas. Now this can be one of my solid go tos! The decor is very nice and new. I think there are just a handful of tables and bar seating.
