Enjoyed a coast kolsch style ale canned beer at this bar inside the hotel. The bartender was super friendly and down to earth proving good service and conversation. They have a good selection of draft and canned beer for your tastebuds.

We are staying at The Clancy and we were hungry for dinner . We were happy to see they had a restaurant on site . Went down and had cocktails :) We were greeted with a big smile from Regina . She was super friendly and took great care of us . We started w/ the Brussel Sprouts- nice char w/ a nice balsamic for contrast. Hubby ordered the Halibut, great presentation and was very good . I ordered the steak Gyro it was very good . Nice large area and really big windows to look out into the San Francisco evening. We are looking forward to Brunch tomorrow:)

Keeping Up Appearances & Very Demure, Very Mindful

My friend wanted to see if a favorite drink was still on the menu at this lovely spot inside The Clancy. Unfortunately, as it was a seasonal drink, it was not at this time, but will be back in the spring. However, we carried on and each found a drink that would work in the meantime. Very Demure, Very Mindful (think, fall/winter Aperol Spritz) for me and Keeping Up Appearances (a bit of a fall/winter twist on a martini) for my friend. Both drinks were expertly made. We saw A Date to Remember being created. I realized too late what was happening bc I didn't have my phone out to take a pic/video, but every step was fun to watch. The bartender was really interesting to talk with. We learned quite a bit from him about some of the history behind a few of the drinks. We'll be back in the spring for those seasonal drinks.

Stayed at the Clancy. Needed a quick bite to eat before heading to the Giants vs Dodgers game. Seven Square Taproom is inside the hotel open for lunch, dinner, and late(r) night. Lunch: Beef gyro with chips - good size and tasty for lunch meal. Chicken street tacos - also good sized portion for lunch. They're pretty generous with their proteins. Late night option: After game, ordered bulgogi bbq wings! These were yummy! Be patient with the staff though! They got busy especially with everyone hanging out after the game! It took awhile to get our food. Also had the chocolate Bundt cake which was warm, soft, chocolatey and drizzled with caramel sauce! Service is great! The outdoor patio is so pretty at night. Snag one of the fire tables with a group of friends or get a smaller table with a heat lamp.

The cheese plate here is very overpriced for the quality, it's like 30 bucks after taxes added in. The atmosphere is nice but can't justify the cost of it

The house restaurant and bar located inside The Clancy is a great find. The food is good, reasonably priced and plentiful. If you're a guest at the Clancy and solve the Rubik's cube show it to the bar tender for access to the secret happy hour menu. You can sit anywhere in the lobby or even outside by the fireplace and still receive good service. With all the great food available in SF we still found ourselves grabbing a bite and a drink here.

The drinks and food here are awesome! Great ambiance and food which is slightly unexpected for a hotel restaurant. We got the Martini and Keeping Up. Both spicy but well balanced with alcohol. Truffle fries, cheese board, flat iron steak, salmon dish with quinoa all good!!! Kids pasta with cheese and butter also nice and Al dente. Get the wagyu flat iron medium rare ... sooooooo delicious!

I never thought I'd voluntarily go to a restaurant in a hotel where I wasn't staying, but the food here is delicious! I've been here twice in the last few months and will be adding the restaurant to my weekend rotation The Clancy remodeled and upgraded its interiors during the pandemic, and the lobby and restaurant now have modern, chic, and beautiful furnishings. The outdoor area is also great for small and larger gatherings with structural chairs, huge fire pits, and lots of heat lamps (at least one per table) Everything we ordered was delicious with fresh, high quality ingredients Blood orange bruschetta - so good! Each bite is an explosion of flavor with creamy burrata, sharp balsamic glaze, light and sweet blood orange, and well toasted rustic bread Tajin grilled salmon - super tender salmon that's well seasoned. Our waitress advised not to squeeze the provided lemon on top as the sauce was already slightly sour/citrusy and she was absolutely right. The couscous salad with tomato, cucumber, and feta cheese is also great and beautifully presented. I appreciated that this dish was a filling entree but still light enough to not put me in an immediate food coma Mustard BBQ chicken wings - flavorful but nothing too special. Would recommend the other two dishes over the wings

Yelp elite drink menu. Pom fiesta was really good if you love tequila
    Claudine R.

I came here for a Yelp elite event and had a great time. I had two drinks of their Pom Fiesta which had pomegranate, I think some lemon juice and tequila. I thought the drink seemed pretty strong. We were able to try the Ube cheeseburger which was good and simple but I thought it had the potential to be better, it was served with cheese, a sauce and I believe that's it. I'm not too crazy about hummus but I enjoyed their edamame garlic hummus. The space is really nice and a good place for groups or a date.

This is the only restaurant instead the Clancy hotel (besides the coffee stand). Menu is small for breakfast and during the day but the quality of food was very good! As was the service! We only had breakfast while staying at hotel. We had the breakfast burrito that was stufffed with eggs, roasted potatoes, cheddar, bacon, avocado and it was served with roasted salsa and house corn chips. It was very filling and can easily be shared for the price of $21. The Clancy Breakfast was a typical American style breakfast for $24.

Parking is a challenge in Noe Valley so it took us a few minutes to find a spot on the street approx a block away. We were warmly greeted on arrival at the restaurant by Mariana - the charming hostess, & led to our table at the far end of the restaurant. The space is not too big so the tables are strategically arranged, making it a little narrow squeeze navigating between tables when people are seated. The decor is lovely & the place has a very pleasant ambiance. Our server Marley - a friendly young man who was very accommodating of all our requests. We were presented with complimentary warm delicious bread rolls & butter. We ordered the momos, which we had read all about on the Yelp reviews, & they certainly didn't disappoint. The sauce that accompanied the momos was so delectable, I had to request for another serving of bread to sop it all up! We also ordered the charred brussel sprouts & toasted grape salad and the gems of California beets salad - both were beautifully presented & combined a delicious blend of flavors. The food was amazing, the service attentive! We didn't want to have too big of a meal since we were heading to a show at the Herbst Theatre after dinner so we didn't order entrees or desserts. We plan to go back again soon. I would recommend trying out this neighborhood gem.

The format is a fixed daily menu with two choices per course across four courses. I went with the cured salmon salad, gulf shrimp risotto, seared branzino, and milk chocolate panna cotta. A heads up: portions are on the smaller side, but that's by design -- this is a meal meant to be savored, not rushed. Lean into it. Service was attentive and polished from start to finish, exactly what you'd hope for at this level. If a business dinner is what it takes to discover a gem like this, book more business dinners.

It seems like this place is an asian fusion brunch place incorporating french dishes into thai/asian themed dishes which is up our alley. We made a reservation at 1:45 PM and we had to wait for about an extra 30 minutes before getting seated. Initially, I wanted to try their crab fried rice but unfortunately they were out of crab. We decided to get the Alcatraz Escape and the Brioche french toast which were recommended by the wait staff. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating but I can tell they were swamped and stressed out with all the people they were trying to serve. The food itself tasted decent, the Alcatraz Escape had a tasty flavor which incorporates tom yum paste (sweet, sour, tangy flavor) into their scramble with about 4 shrimps. The side of crispy chicken was good but nothing that stood out to us. The brioche was soft but there wasn't much flavoring besides the fruits and caramelized banana. It was served with evaporated milk which made the brioche soft but not adding much flavor to it. The price however was quite pricey. For two dishes as a side we paid around $78 with tax and tip.

The produce is sourced from a tight network of local farms. But it's not as exceptional as it used to be. The San Francisco burger scene has caught up, and Nopa's burger has lost its specialness...but that doesn't mean Nopa has. Nopa opened in 2006 inside a converted bank - high ceilings, a massive bar, a communal table, just - awesome vibes. From day one it became an industry restaurant - One of the few spots in the city where you could show up late night, order off a menu that changes daily, and know the food is going to be dialed in. They specialize in wood-fired cooking, which is why their thick cut, brined pork chop with baked beans is so popular - and...it's good, but their fried chicken is quickly becoming their best seller and THAT, was PERFECT. Crispy skin, juicy underneath, seasoned beautifully. But the dish that so perfectly encapsulates what Nopa is...was this salad. Just trout, and whatever was good at the farm that week. That's Nopa. A neighborhood kitchen, cooking what's in season, for the people who live down the street, on a menu that's always changing. Twenty years in, it's still full every night. When we arrived, the hostess told us we would not be able to sit in any of the currently empty booths because reservations were coming in later. We were seated at a table off the dining space near the kitchen, my mom was a little too chilly and the booth didn't have enough neck support. I expressed to the host that though I was sorry I had forgotten to add accommodation, that this was just not the way to handle the problem. I was able to speak to the manager, who had been outside taking orders and was clearly working very hard that day. (Her name is quite uncommon so I'm just going to call her M, but I really appreciate your help!) She asked me what my concern was, and I told her, at which point she asked me to wait nearby while she figured out if she could rearrange some tables for us. The bartender was incredibly kind and served me while I waited, and distracted me from imminent tears by sharing intricate details about each drink he was making. I learned do they have a myriad of health oriented cocktails, with ingredients like turmeric, ginger, and aloe liqueur. The manager returned and said that she had already seated my mother in a new space and escorted me to the table, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the meal. At the beginning of the menu, they list the ingredients that are currently in season, and at the back of the menu, there is a color wheel, telling you the benefits of the colors of food. (Purple foods can assist with memory and brain function!). We ordered the asparagus, which was in season, spicy cucumber, and the Aji grill for two. The tofu that came with the grill for two was my favorite thing that we ate. I think you can judge a vegan / vegetarian restaurant by their treatment of tofu. Perfectly seasoned with a crispy outside and I would come back just for this. The cauliflower steak was also pretty tasty. The cocktails are excellent, we tried the BLACKPINK and my mother tried the espressotini and we were really happy with both. I don't know how popular their bar scene is, but I imagine it would be a nice way to meet other vegan and vegetarian folks over light bites. Our waiter Daniel made sure to give us the Mother's Day special dessert the restaurant had created, which was an avocado Grenache with fresh berries. If the experience had started with less stress, this review would be five stars, but I'm very grateful to the staff for doing what they could to correct it and ensure that we had a great Mother's Day!
