All can say is Wow! I am so thankful to find a locksmith that is honest and professional. Just had my front door repaired, painted and new hardware installed. I was told that the keys where separate and didn't work on both locks. So I found Sevan locks & doors because of their good reviews yelp. Got a message back from him with a quote, I contacted to schedule my appointment the next day. He was on prompt, with over the quote and added the 10% discount for using yelp. As he checked the locks I needed the be rekeyed, he noticed that one of the keys worked on both locks so there was no need to rekey them. His honesty saved me from wasting money. He could have easily just charged me a unnecessary job. He smiled and told me to just get the key that works copied and only charged me for dispatch to my home. Sevan Locks was one of the few locksmith services I called when I moved into a new place in Seattle. They did have the highest rating and the best quote to replace my locks among the few I called so I made an appointment to have my locks changed with them. The locksmith arrived within the scheduled window (2 hrs) and worked quickly. He was done in about 30 minutes. I would recommend calling ahead to get the pricing figured out, my locksmith had given me a different price on the receipt, but I mentioned my phone quote was a different price. Best customer service ever! I had this company install the garage doors for me last year 2021. Over weekend garage door became inoperable with the remote, so I had to manually open and close it. George was awesome! He was very punctual, accountable, and dependable. We had lost our car keys and wallet from an incident, and our car dealership was going to charge us $189 for one key with chip. Not only did we have to create the key but they requested us to tow the car to the dealership, which would have been another $200+. These guys are great. They originally did two jobs for me back in July but I was prompted to leave a review after receiving unbelievable customer service 5 months after the original job was done. I will definitely use this company for any future locksmithing or garage door needs. I initially contacted them to re-key the locks in my house. This was straight forward - the technician that came out was on time and pleasant to talk to. While he was here I asked about their garage door services since we needed an opener for our garage door. He said they could do it and I should contact the owner again to schedule the work so that's what I did. Again, they showed up on time for the installation of the opener but it turns out the first tech that showed up wasn't quite experienced enough to handle the installation due to my existing setup. Another tech joined him within an hour or so and they completed the job within the originally estimated time frame. No problem. Fast forward 5 months later to thanksgiving night and our garage door would not close. Somehow the cable that opened the door came off the roller and got tangled around the bar. I got the door closed manually and contacted Sevan the next day (Friday evening) via yelp. George, the owner replied pretty quickly saying he could come look at it 8am the following morning (Saturday). George himself arrived a few minutes early on Saturday morning and worked for about an hour to adjust some things with the door and fix the cable so that my door is working again. I am extremely impressed and appreciative that he replied promptly during the holiday weekend and came out early on a Saturday to fix our problem. Amazing service. read more

(It is a used car and one of the previous keys was not in my possession.) Within a few minutes, I received a reply from the owner George and within an hour he was at my home. Haven't been on yelp in a while and we are new to the Seattle area but I have to write a little note to give EB some major props. We locked ourselves out of our house today. I actually went through the trouble of going to Lowes and buying a drillbit and new lock, thinking I'd drill out the lock myself and save the $100+ bucks that a locksmith would cost me (drill supplied by neighbor). After looking at my hungry toddler's face (it was around 6pm), I decided maybe I shouldn't risk screwing it up (and REALLY locking us out) and called for a locksmith. And then my first major Seattle shocker: locksmiths here apparently don't work after 5pm. So I ended up calling the first 5 or 6 places reviewed on yelp, and the ONLY one that answered was EB. He quoted me $65 over the phone and told me he'd be over in 15 minutes. I didn't catch the man's name, but he arrived in a van (20 min?), and proceeded to take a look at the two possible doors we could gain access to and then got to work. Now, I'm from NYC and when a locksmith shows up they whip out a drill and bore a hole through your cylinder and voila, you're in. But the guy from EB pulls out the old movie-style lock-picks and gets to work. Problem is, my locks are deadbolts, and the picks don't work so well on those (Schlager; he told me Kwick-Set locks pick instantly). As he's trying various methods to pick the lock, and I tell him about NYC customary practice, he tells me that a lot of locksmiths will automatically tell you that the lock needs to be drilled, because doing so nets them the sale of the replacement lock. Bam, and suddenly you're down $150-$200 bucks. "But I don't do that." Says the EB guy. "That's wrong. If I have to drill your lock I'll put in the new lock no charge." So, I'd already spent $30 on a Schlager lock I thought he'd use and now I'm thinking I can take that back! Score. Anyway, he doesn't have luck on the first deadbolt so we move to second. I feel like I'm practically learning the craft, but he's still having trouble with the deadbolt. He finally turns to me and says, "how do you feel about a new lock?" At that very moment my aunt pulls up with a key -- tada! and we're in. The EB guy was so great and so friendly and so honest that I felt compelled to pay for his time anyway and I hand him $40 cash. And he DECLINES! "The charge is only $15 for a visit." he says. Are you kidding me?! I felt like I could become fast friends with this guy even before that, but he was beyond the pale in virtually every respect. I don't remember your name, Mr. EB man, but I thank you, seriously, for being like a blast from the past. You are the real deal, and you deserve every word of praise (and the time it took to write) here. And my hungry little baby thanks you. He's sleeping quietly in his bed now, thanks to you. We couldn't be happier with the service from George at Sevan Doors & Locks. A spring broke on our garage door on a Friday evening (doesn't all repairs happen on a weekend or after hours?). We contacted Sevan Doors via their online request form and immediately George responded. What was truly amazing was that there was no overtime for him to come out on a Saturday to fix the spring. We went ahead and had George come out on Saturday morning; he arrived promptly, wore booties when entering the house and took time to explain what he was going to do and gave recommendations on what we might need in the future. Payment was a snap with his emailed invoice and payment on the spot with his smart phone. And George was in and out in an hour; his estimate was the amount of the invoice and didn't charge a penny more. Completely agree with the 5 star reviews. They gave the best quote, responded quickly to set up time to come by that worked with my schedule, and showed up promptly on time. I got a copy of my car key for $180 (compared to a $300 quote from the dealership) and rekeyed a door that the previous owners of my house didn't give me the key to for $39. I forgot to ask about the Yelp discount they have going on right now (whoops! My mistake), but if you take advantage of that, you can get an even better deal. 100% would recommend. read more

Flew home from a business trip last night to find my key wouldn't work in my car's ignition. Called 7 lock smiths (off Yelp) and chose this one because of Yelp rating, locksmith answered the phone right away and was able to come out to the park and ride (today is Saturday), within an hour. Excellent service, great company! I had a slight issue with my car door lock. Key was stuck and door wasn't opening. I was quoted by other companies from $100-350. Me not knowing ANYTHING about car locks, I figured it could have been an issue with overuse and needed replacement. The locksmith showed up, took some wd-40 and was able to fix. I'm used to companies charging for the call, but he didn't charge me at all. I picked up a used car with a push button ignition but it only came with one key fob. Called around to other locksmith places and they all said call the dealership. Dealership was pricey. I managed to reach Alex - he gave me a price less than the dealership, all done on site without having to leave work. No questions asked - Fast, professional, friendly. 6-month warranty as long as I don't drop the fob into the toilet. In all honesty I could have called around finding somebody $40 cheaper but when you factor in expense of travel time to visit your shop,dealing with the appointment calendar, and how appointments generally never run on schedule...
