Good drinks, nice seating area to enjoy the weather. I don't think they have a kitchen, but when we went there was a food truck parked outside. read more

This is hands down one of the best places to visit in Savannah especially if you're a beer connoisseur. This brewery is only a few years old, but has already established a footprint in the city as being a popular spot to visit for all types of people. I have been here a handful of times and can confidently say that each time I've had an awesome experience. They offer many different types of craft beer ranging from hoppy, citrusy to dark stouts. They definitely know their stuff when it comes to brewing. They also offer R & D beers only available at the brewery for anyone to try. This place is always having events. In fact most of the times I have been here have been for events. I have been to both their anniversary events so far which were absolutely awesome. Every customer gets an anniversary bottle and beer glass. There's also a food vendor serving food throughout the night to accommodate everyone's appetite after a good time of drinking. My favorite was the pizza place that served on the spot artisan pizza prepared and cooked by expedient chefs. You can also take a tour of the facility and see how they make the beer. The staff is extremely friendly and ensures that everyone has a good time. This Veteran owned brewery has a great story behind it that I urge you to read about it. There is always something going on and I can definitely see this place becoming an established part of Savannah. read more

Very fun! Lots of beverage choices. Friendly folks who wait on you. The plus was having the Lobster Dog truck there! There was a DJ playing pretty funky music all the while the NFL football game was on! Definitely going to go there again! Thank you for supporting our service members! read more

Great place to have some good brews and hang out! My wife, son and his girlfriend decided to try a local brewery out when they visited. Service Brewery was our choice as it was close to downtown and we were not disappointed. They have many options for beer enthusiasts and we opted for the entry level which gave you a choice of either a generous 6 - 3 oz. glasses in a flight or 3 maybe 8 oz glasses of beer. I really like that you could get your flight all at one time or a beer or two at a time. The latter allows you keep them cold but it took more trips thru the line. They have some pretty good beer too, I especially liked their double IPA. The atmosphere was relaxed with a hangar feel to it with a good amount of seating and some people bringing their pets (which were welcome). There are dart games and a pool table available to enjoy as well. The price I thought was excellent for the beer. The only improvements I would suggest were a place to buy brewery merchandise (outside the beer) as they have some neat glasses and I am sure some Ts with their logos would sell as well. I think they should also think about selling some type of snack. They could have a local food place supply a pretzel, brats, or maybe partner with a food truck and have grilled oysters or something that would pair well with one or two of their beers. Beer - 3.5 - 4 stars Their beer is not the best I've ever had but I am pretty picky, but quantities are generous and it is good! Atmosphere- 4 stars - Very comfortable and relaxed place to meet friends and have more than a few beers before heading into town or just staying there. Price - 5 stars - one of the better breweries where I feel like for $12 I got my money's worth and were able to sample their wares. Service - 4 stars - Sometimes it took longer than I would have liked to get another beer but not anything that was an issue. People were friendly and I would go back. read more

OMG you all this is the best place / brewery in Savannah- we had "Julio" wait on us...he is incredible - I heard he is a famous actor and artist also! It's veteran owned - we should support this business- I really do give it five stars - great service great beer! read more

Awesome bar. Service was great. Shout out to Ashley and Joy ! Such a friendly atmosphere and very clean!

Went on a Friday and enjoyed some great bluegrass along with quality beer. No frills to this place as it is basic brewpub decor but the music sounds great in it. Wait staff is cordial and helpful. They have board and lawn games to add to the enjoyment. Honestly, a great experience. read more

As a veteran myself, I love the vibe. The beer is great too! Definitely recommend stopping in!

We stopped by Service Brewing Co during a recent weekend in Savannah and were able to check out their "Valentine's Pre-Game" party. As I'm not from Georgia, I'm not sure of all the rules and regulations, but I was surprised by the limited hours of both 'brewery' only locations (Service and Southbound). But, luckily, Service Brewery's great location makes them a must-visit for any beer lover. A short walk from downtown, but off the beaten path enough that you'll mostly get craft beer lovers. The Valentines day pregame party included 36oz tasting (6 tastings of 6 oz each... but believe me they were more than 6oz!), brewery tour (unfortunately the tours weren't very well organized, and too sporadic to plan out), three flavors of Leopold's Ice Cream (vanilla, chocolate and a flavor using Service Brewing Co beer), A-Squad Bake Shop sweets (all that was left by 2pm were brownies, those were cleaned out quick), live music by Lyn Avenue and Aint-Bad Magazine special Valentines Day Photo Booth (to have some memories)! While I felt the price tag for the event was a little pricy, after all the beers and returns for ice cream, it made for a fun afternoon. Downsides were that they'd run out of several of their beers by our 2pm arrival and as far as what I remember trying: Scouts Out Honey Saison: 2.5:5, Ground Pounder: 4:5, Compass Road IPA: 3.5:5, they rank pretty in the middle overall. The brewery is large and open, with a nice outdoor patio and some great military paraphenalia (make sure to look all around when entering!) read more

So disappointing. We purposely made the time and drove over to visit this brewery because of the West Point alumni founders. Unfortunately it was closed! There are hours posted on the door displaying the limited availability times to tour or taste. I wish Service Brewing Co. would post their hours more prominently on Yelp and their website. We planned to purchase t-shirts and more but of course could not. read more

Mark my words: this is the next big thing. If you are in Savannah, take a couple hours out to drop by this brewery that is having its grand opening today. Amazing beer, fantastic brewers, wonderful cause and backstories, and beautiful venue and tasting room. I hope to see this start popping up all over GA and AL very soon before it takes over the country. Ground Pounder Compass Rose IPA Rally Point Bohemian Pilsner other seasonal beers Can't say enough about this brewery so go check it out for yourself! read more

Beautiful space, great decor, knowledgeable staff and fantastic beer! Off the beaten path but well worth the walk!

The place has a great atmosphere. Dog friendly and a wonderful staff. The only beer I like are stouts. A good beer like founders breakfast stout, dirty bastard, or my go to Samuel Smith Oatmeal stout. So if you like stouts, this is not the place for you. I drank half of chocolate Cherry stout. That was the better one. The chocolate chip stout I returned the whole glass. Then I chose a bourbon barrel stout and returned that one as well. $21 plus tip down the drain. read more

One of Savannah's best breweries. Amazing atmosphere, incredible beer and friendly staff. Julio did an amazing job at helping choose the perfect flight! Highly recommend stopping in for a pint or 6. read more

I absolutely love everything about this company. Their veteran owned, veteran operated business model is awesome. All their marketing is a spot on homage to the military (mostly Army) that I know they come from. And it's great beer! I particularly like the Ground Pounder Pale Ale, Compass Rose IPA and Battlewagon Double IPA. They have a great space and awesome staff. One negative - the hours. I tried to stop by twice and they were closed - a Saturday evening and a Friday after 8 PM. Also, their pricing model with tours is a little weird. I think they should just skip the tours, or just sell pints at the bar. Otherwise an amazing experience! read more

Beer good. People good. Prices good. Patches good. Glasses good. Please come to this brewery.

Excellent beer. Excellent space. Excellent Service. This place is awesome! I've been on quite a few brewery tours, and this one definitely impressed me! This space is huge & perfect for expansion! They had 7 beers on tap at the time of our tour, all of which were great! We bought our tickets on Livingsocial-- 2 glasses and 8 samples each for $12. Definitely looking forward to coming back again! read more

Loved this place! Great atmosphere for friends and probably a great meetup place for happy hour after work. Even though I don't drink beer, they had quite the variety and my husband and friends were happy. I still enjoyed my time there as they had both indoor and outdoor seating. They also have darts, ping pong, cornhole, and cards. They do allow your pups as long as they are calm and quiet. There was a 30th birthday party going on while we were there so they were also spacious enough and accommodating for that. I also appreciated the live music! Fun atmosphere all around. read more

We have been in Savannah for a few days. We are both active duty officers and we brought our dogs out on a sat evening for a walk and a brew. The CEO came out to greet us and talk. This place makes me think of what a VFW should be for our generation. Friendly service. Great owners and people. This is where is want to go To feel part of a neighborhood and part of community. We currently live in the VA area where tons of craft breweries have popped up- this is by far one of the best breweries we have been to- clean, friendly, and great beer. If you are in Savannah- it's a must go too- military or not! We look forward to coming back when we move down here! (ALOT) read more

Not only does Service Brewing have excellent beer, they have an awesome crew and are doing great things for the military and veteran community. Their limited hours are clearly stated on their website and I'm pretty sure the fact that you must be 21+ to go in is just common sense.. But hey, what do I know A fun & chill place to go hang out or take out of town guests. And if it's in season, I highly recommend trying the oyster stout. It's superb! read more

I walked down to SCAD Art Sales hoping it was open, but alas I was left wanting. What other option did I have but to console myself with some cold brew at Service on a bright sunny Savannah day? So many choices! I opted for one of their R&D brews, which was tinged with honey. Lightly hoppy, it was refreshing with a bit of a kick. The wide open garage-like space is perfect for mingling, and the food truck parked conveniently outside is available if you get a hankering. And the best part? Meeting the lovely and personable owner Meredith, who sought us out as the most likely gentlemen to have dropped a handkerchief (well, admittedly we did look a bit dapper), and hung out a spell to get to know us. Southern hospitality at its very best! read more

I was only at Service for a short period of time but my time was well spent! Service is off the beaten path in Savannah so be prepared to walk outside the charming historic district. Upon arriving to the large space, we saw a couple people drinking and playing yard games in the front on a beautiful sunny day. Inside they have a stage set up along with a ping pong table and I think some other inside games. Service Brewing is huge with a good size bar and awesome bar tending! We wanted to try everything so we ordered a fleet aka three flights of all their beers. Most of the beers were actually really good! I think one or two off hand we didn't fully enjoy but there wasn't anything I couldn't have again. Our favorite was a cherry based beer, I do not remember off hand but it was an experimental beer of sorts they had that I strongly suggest they start serving year round. This place was great, made a really strong impression on me, plus they are veteran own! Support America and drink beer read more

The service was amazing and quick! I walked up to a line out the door, and I was initially worried about the wait time to try a flight of their small batch beers. The servers were sending out beers left and right, and I had my flight and a seat at the bar in less than 10 minutes. great pit stop for anyone interested in a local bar crawl in Savannah. read more

Service is owned and run by veterans, so that alone is worth stopping by. Not to mention everyone behind the bar is kind and willing to share information about the beers. I'm an IPA fan, and their Rally Point is just so well done. It has a medium IBU to provide a hoppy profile, but still light enough to enjoy in the hot Savannah weather. I've tried a handful of their rotating drafts and have yet to be disappointed! The building is off the beaten path but often has live music and board games. There's plenty of space inside to bring friends, sit down, and enjoy the company (indoor or outdoor). I hit service every time I'm in Savannah. read more

Made a quick stop here on our way to Ghost Coast distillery. Surprisingly well balanced and tasty beers... There is some outdoor seating and indoor markings to try and keep socially distant while you wait in line to order, though this is really up to individuals as they don't enforce it.
