Amazing and authentic brewery in Savannah! Love the IPA's and the atmosphere is on point! As a vet, I love the whole purpose and feel of the brewery. The live music on a stage was a great addition to a fun afternoon! Why do you serve? I served to ensure freedom for my family and yours... why do I serve now? Because I want to give back to my community and show my kids that it's important to care about others! read more

I cannot speak highly enough about this awesome place! Service has a great variety of beers and a wonderful atmosphere! I have been here too many times to count and I have never left disappointed. My favorite time to go is on Friday nights when they have bluegrass music playing. Whether you live in Savannah or are in town visiting, go have a beer or two at this great place! Cheers! read more

Kelly is amazing. Flights were amazing. It's definitely on my list of must due while on Savannah. The IPA with tea is absolutely delicious.

Walking into this place is like stepping into a brewery you'd find in Asheville, NC. Its hard to believe it's in Savannah! It's unique to the area being a veteran owned and operated brewery. Another plus is that a portion of your purchases goes to support a charity. My husband and I found it to be a sweet hangout spot, too. It's not loud or flashy which we appreciate. The owners were smart to buy out such a big space. They have room to grow and in my opinion they WILL grow. This is a treasure for beer connoisseurs in Savannah. My personal favorites are the small batches of beer they make. We tried the Wheatwine and it was delicious! read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to dying roadkill. Customer service is shit- yea they want your Business but want to block off the whole side of the road like they own it. Just walking around questioning people on who's car they can get moved next. Want to be a better "service" get over the fact you don't own the road an just get a clue at what your doing. If you really want an experience go just a block father to ghost coast- friendliest people ever an are always happy to have you. Fuck service brewing read more

The beer is fantastic, and the owner is very personable and talked to us and made us feel so welcome. I LOVE that this is a veteran owned business. read more

Amazing! I had the chance to try their Pilsner at other restaurants around town and really enjoyed it so I was stoked to go to the brewery for a tasting. You pay $12 per person and get a souvenir cup and a wristband, you get 8 4oz pours and a 20 ish minute tour (if you want) for that price. Beautiful bar and building, very well done. You can learn about how they make the beer, canning process and meet the owner. It's a cool experience and the cups are worth the $12 even if you didn't get beer. I had 7 beers and they were all great! One is made with local savannah honey so that is cool. Give this place a try! read more

Love this brewery and the different events they have. If you love Brewery tours, it's a great place to visit. My favorite is their Service Brewery Anniversary Beer. I love almost all their beers. You get to try six beers 6oz each or three beers for $12, which is called a Flight. There are other options as well where you can take a crowler or two home in addition to the flight for $18 and $22 respectively. They have brewery tours every half hour. They also have two cats, who are adorable! Don't forget to check out their events on the social media. They have something going on almost every month. CHEERS!! read more

After living in San Diego for four years breweries are common place in our landscape, and Service Brewing did not disappoint! We had the Oktoberfest and the Compass IPA. Definitely recommend the latter and was not surprised to see it being sold by the can in a few other establishments we checked out later in the night. Big open space with dart boards and an awesome band playing. Only downside is that the place closes early, 10PM on a Friday and 9PM on Saturday (also not open on Sundays). May be a city ordinance but it is a shame as we got there at 9 and had to leave soon thereafter. read more

This was a pretty fun place. Very friendly staff. A ginormous chalk board to write on How and Where you served in The Military. They had some pretty good tasting beer too. I think their souvenirs were pretty pricey. I would've love to by my veteran boyfriend a T-shirt but $28.00 seems high. read more

Awesome place with awesome owners and staff. Had a fantastic evening with bluegrass and great beers. Met new friends including a few four legged ones. Can't wait to return. read more

Beer was good and we loved the games on the table but the service (at a brewery called service) was AWFUL. We've never been here before so we each wanted a flight (there were 4 of us) and the bartender rolled her eyes right in front of us. And when we needed to make a change to a beer (BEFORE they were even poured) she slammed the flight holder down and huffed and puffed. We understand it was a hassle and apologized in advance. There weren't many people in at the time, so it didn't seem like a big deal to us. We go to a lot of breweries and it's usually a fun, relaxing experience. Not here. The staff is rude and unfriendly. She made the experience uncomfortable to the point where we didn't even want to go back up to the bar to get another beer.... Save yourself and go to Two Tides instead. read more

Enjoyed a flight of 4 beers with my love. A band that play folk type music played in the background. We bought T-shirts' and stickers to remember our visit. Great beer and fun relaxed vibes. read more

Very cool location for a brewery. Not very many breweries in Savannah Georgia. The beers here were just OK. Nothing really special about it. However, very friendly staff and plenty of space. read more

Great beer! Super dog friendly- our dog was allowed to sit with us at the bar! Everyone was really nice, cool building, fun time! A must see in Savannah read more

Stopped in on a recent trip to Savannah and was beyond expressed! To start, the space is gorgeous, the building has been beautifully renovated with great attention to details. The tour was cool... not knowing much about the process of making beer, I found it really fascinating! I loved seeing the process from start to finish. Next we did a tasting (naturally the part I was most excited about)... and it did not disappoint! There were eight beers on tap with a mix of year round and seasonal brews. I tend to gravitate towards lighter beers, so the Ground Pounder Pale Ale was my favorite! Making the experience even better was the super friendly staff. Everyone seemed super happy to be there and were incredibly knowledgeable. If you're in Savannah, go! My only complaint is that I can't get Service in California... here's hoping it will be available here soon! read more

Service Brewing - Breweries Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

We LOVED Service! It's located just behind River Street by the bridge - a little bit off the beaten path but not too far - totally walkable from the main drag. It's in a big warehouse building which makes for ample seating (there's also seating outside). I went with a flight. There were just too many good options to choose from. My personal favorite was the Easy Rider, a collab with Two Tides, also local to Savannah. It had a VERY nice flavor of tea, which I loved. Rally Point was another good one. We visit a lot of breweries having a lot in our area in NYC, and this lands high on the list. Great space, friendly service and a TON of great beers to choose from. read more

Service Brewing has a great selection of craft beers and it is great place for friends, after work buddies and beer enthusiasts. You can get a flight of beers and a growler to take home. In addition, you can go on on a tour of the brewery which is tip top and ship shape. This brewery was founded by veterans and does a lot to support nonprofits that help veterans as well. The only downside is that it's only open on Thursdays, Friday's for happy hour and Saturday afternoons. read more

Beers were fantastic and the staff was great! In addition to core beers, they also had seasonals and small batch.

The fella and I like to check out local breweries when we're on vacation. Thanks to the Yelp reviews written for Service, we knew this was a spot we had to see on our trip to Savannah. An easy walk from the historic district, it was a highlight of our trip. We got there about 2 hours before they closed on a Saturday, and my only regret is that we didn't get there earlier. After going on a tour of the brewery (worth it just to see how big the space is and the adorable cats), there wasn't a ton of time to sample as much as I would have liked. In addition, some of the limited beers were tapped before we got there (or as we were walking up to the bar). Everything I had was great, I just wish I had gotten there earlier in the day! The staff was friendly, and the space was great to hang out in. We opted for the patio outside, which meant chilling out with lots of well-behaved dogs and their friendly owners. The sun was shining and it made for a picture-perfect afternoon on vacation. If you're also of a mind to check out local breweries when you're visiting a new city, make the trip to Service. read more

If you are in the Savannah area this is a must go to place. Everything about Service brewing is great; the beers, the games, the stage, the art, the cats, and the owners! I had the Battlewagon DIPA, that beer set the standard. Delicious! I wish my friends and I could have stayed longer to enjoy the atmosphere of this place! Upon entry it seems like a clean and simple brewery any average joe can hang out at, but upon closer inspection subtle details of military life will jump out at you. From the Two conex stacked on top of each other to make the bar to the parachute curtains that drape the walls! They paid attention to detail in their beer and in the space they created. Thank you to the owners for your generosity and hospitality during our visit! You have a customer for life! read more

The world needs more businesses like this! They have purpose, are about people, donate to charities and make amazing beer. Business with purpose and quality is hard to find, especially when it lacks pretentiousness but you'll find it here. Take a CEO-led tour and meet the cats, write on the service chalkboard. You won't regret it. read more

This is a cool spot to hang out with. It's a huge open space with plenty of seating options inside and out and games to play. Its dog friendly and everyone who served us was super nice and helpful. Those of us that drank beer enjoyed it and we had a good time playing cornhole outside! read more

Beat your feet and check out this brewery in downtown Savannah! Spacious interior with bar seating and picnic tables for large groups. We were here on a Friday afternoon and they had a live band playing blue grass tunes that served as great entertainment but not overpowering to interrupt conversation. A variety of board and card games were scattered among the long picnic tables to allow for some group activities while sipping beer and listening to music. Service brewing in styled to look as though a bar was fashioned in the middle of an aircraft hanger. On a nice day, they open up the large garage doors to create a perfectly balanced indoor/outdoor space. I tried one of their R&D brews- the "Hazy IPA" that was bursting with juicy flavor and one I would recommend to transition to a year round brew. The brewery offers $18 60oz pitchers of their year round brews all day! Thank you to all military personnel for your service. If I could offer any suggestions, open this place up earlier than 4pm on Friday. My party and several other groups attempted to stop by mid afternoon and were disappointed to see y'all didn't open till later... luckily there's a distillery across the street. read more

Service Brewing Co. is awesome! We had the best time ever yesterday! Kelly took us on a tour of the brewery, and introduced us to Black Hawk and Chinook (the brewery cat-dets). It's amazing that only 8 people hold down the fort. Alex and Madeline were super cool. They made sure we were having a great time, and poured us the perfect beers. Bryan is the best bar-back (and lawyer) in the world :). And we can't forget about Austin; he's one of the brewers. He was great to talk to, and we are so excited to see what he comes up with next. We will definitely be back! Your friends, Pearce-Roberts-Soboleski read more

Super cool brewery. We did the flight option but sadly after trying every beer they had we hated all of them. I love Service Brewing! We discovered it just in time to attend their 3rd anniversary party and we had a blast. It will definitely be one of the places we take family and friends when they visit us.
