Now Serrano's KNOW THEY WRONG for charging me $25 for chips queso and a small guac. I know they remodeled the inside and it's real nice, BUT this is absolutely ridiculous. Their competitors are MUCH cheaper. This is highway robbery... UPDATE-for the price I paid, it could have had meat or included guac in it... For $15 it's simply cheese and veggies so I did not get the quality for my money

    3 lunch items.

Tried one last time for lunch. I don't understand money spent on the renovations. The tortilla chips are bagged and not fresh made, the lunch menu has shrunk to 3 entrees, two being salads. It's always dead inside at lunch time. Honestly have never seen this place crowded ever. Constant rotation of employees, maybe no money to be made.

WHHHOOOOOAAAAA Decided to go to Serrano's for breakfast and we were not disappointed but totally surprised. The Pancakes. Yes pancakes at Serrano's are absolutely amazing. They are so fluffy that they soak up the syrup. The flavor is like none we tasted before. To top it off, the homemade syrup is divine. We are shocked for this treat. Its a must try. You will NOT be disappointed. The tacos were great as well. But be aware they are huge. If you eat 4 usually, then you should only get 2. No lie. The flavors are unbelievably delicious. A great Saturday morning easy tasteful breakfast brunch. AND the mimosas whoaaaa. Very under rated... its a MUST try.

Some good and some not so good. We had eaten here years ago and thought we would try them again. Their queso was very good good sized portion nice flavor. My beef chili relleno was okay most of the breading fell off and the chili wasn't as tender as it should be. Beef seasoning was excellent. Rice and beans good. I got queso on mine and that was excellent. Wife & daughter each ordered different chicken dishes. Both said the chicken wasn't very flavorful - tasteless. They thought it was prepared (like frozen chicken breast) not something freshly grilled and seasoned. Both disappointed.

We checked out this joint on a whim. Firstly, I found the wait time to service to be very long. We were seated and waited for over 20 mins just to get a waiter assigned. The complimentary salsa was honestly really good! Nice and spicy! I tried the strawberry mango frozen margarita and that was super refreshing. We tried the coliflor tacos & the vegetarian enchiladas. Both our entrees had some issues. For instance I didn't ask for double beans, the Mexican rice was a little undercooked. Overall the food had more potential & service needs work.. ! To call it out, we did notice more attention being paid to other tables that our server was helping. This would go a long way if management was able to improve service.

This restaurant was a nice surprise. Food was greatly priced for this area and the ambiance was family friendly. Our server was efficient and food came out piping hot and fast, chips and hot sauce did not disappoint and portions were plentiful. Laid back restaurant with cold drinks makes for a good experience.

Pollo Loco with Calabacitas and Pinto Beans
    Orlando R.

I heard that the Pollo Loco was really good here and I can safely say it exceeded my expectations. The chicken thighs were tender and nicely seasoned and paired well with the guacamole, pico de gallo, and pechuga sauce. The calabacitas were also great and were relatively crisp and light. My only critique is that charro beans could have had a little more flavor and maybe a touch more salt.

    Cheese Enchiladas and Veggie Fajita

We were in a hurry for food and all the other places around sucked. So we decided to try this. The food was spectacular and on another level. The server was so kind and helpful as she told us the vegetarian options honestly. I would totally recommend!! Music was also good!

I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I wish I had a photo of my poor taco, but I totally forgot to take a picture :/

We are huge fans of fresh guac, but what we got was borderline spoiled and not fresh at all. You can take a look at image_2.png to see the sad state of it. Serving old guacamole at a Mexican restaurant is just bad vibes. - The Service: Our waiter completely ghosted us. He visited our table exactly twice: once to take the order and once to drop the plates. We sat there waiting to give some constructive feedback on the tragic guacamole, but he never returned. We received zero water refills and no extra chips. Meanwhile, the table right next to us won the server lottery. Their younger waiter was incredibly attentive, bringing them unprompted soda refills twice and keeping their chips fully stocked. We literally had to flag down their awesome waiter just to ask for our check so we could finally leave. - The Verdict: This was our first time here and it will absolutely be our last. The food missed the mark entirely, and the service was just awful. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects the guac.
