We happened to be in the area and saw some good reviews and decided to check it out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on a busy night but not too bad. Upon walking up there are various beer logos on the front door with some brewers I like so that was encouraging. There is outdoor seating for the warmer months. Upon walking in we were greeted and shown to our table. There is a bar in the back with limited seating and TVs there. There are also TVs in the dining room. It took a little bit for our server to visit our table but then I ordered a beer from their extensive list of local and national breweries, pretty good selection. My wife ordered pasta and I ordered a Greek salad. I enjoyed my salad however my wife's pasta was cold. She said she felt like it wasn't fresh. She didn't eat much of it. We were surprised they didn't offer bread with our meal. Anyway, service was so-so on a not so busy night and with my wife's impression we probably won't be back. read more

Nice atmosphere, very clean and the service has always been great. The real takeaway here is the food. In short, it's phenomenal. I've been here at least 5 times and everything I've gotten was great, especially the pizza. I'm from NYC and this is the closest I've found in VA so far. Try it out, it won't disappoint. read more

Sergio's never disappoints! Great food every time, awesome beer list. They have the best happy hour in the area and we come here at least once a week! My usual is the crest your own pasta with angel hair and meatballs. The pizza thoooooo my favorite app is the calamari one of the best I've had! Wedge salad is always a good choice as well. Really nice place. Very busy when we got there but they got us a table in about 10 mins. Fairly clean place, walls could use a wipe down. Ordered fried ravioli, combo pizza and cannolis. Daughter sampled two beers and orderes the second selection. Very giod food and beer. Daughter said she asked for mixed selection of raviolis and all they gave us was cheese. Waitress was excellent. Would have been 5 stars if not for the dirty walls and the small issue with the ravioli. read more

Love sergios. Great local, neighborhood spot. Only have had a few things from the menu, but loved everything. They really got it right with all the crap that's going on to still provide us neighborhoods some good curbside eats. Glad they reopened inside. Hope to get a table and dine soon. Was it Sergio's for dine in approximately two weeks ago. Was not sat for 20 minutes. When we finally sat down we placed our orders for their food and it came out about 35 minutes later. The food was very bland no flavor at all to any other meals even the pasta dish which was a specialty seafood dish and it was very bland also. Tried to order a pizza was told it was gonna be 45 minutes because they're dealing with takeouts first. We have been going to Sergio's for what seems like 30 years always so reliable and good. Recently the food has not been what it used to be. We ordered spaghetti, pizza, and a hoagie this evening. The spaghetti was just ok, pizza was not what we ordered at all, and the Italian hoagie had two, yes, two, slices of meat on it total. Seems Sergio's is more infested in its downtown location than the Brandermill location. Never again. read more

I am always on the hunt for a tasty new pizza place and I decided to check out Sergio's. I have been twice now as i wanted to try their classic style pizza as well as the Neapolitan style pizza. My first visit I tried the Neapolitan pizza and the cheesecake. The pizza was yummy and flavorful but it was not Neapolitan. Recently coming back from Italy I was a little bit bummed to not find that pizza I had been craving. The cheesecake was delicious and not a bad price at all. The service that night was a bit lacking. I was seating and it was another 10-15 minutes before I was greeted by my server and asked what I wanted to drink. My second visit I enjoyed a bit more. Though it was busy, the service was great and I went for happy hour. My cider was $2 off and apps were half price. I chose the spinach artichoke dip and it was served with baguette slices. It was delicious and a huge serving! I went with their regular style pizza and had pepperoni. It was cheesy and delicious and had plenty of pepperoni. Overall a solid pizza place and I'm looking forward to trying some of their other dishes. read more

I've been eating at Sergio's for quite a few years now. It's my go to Italian joint. It's now even better with their hip bar in the back. It's a great joint if you are looking to relax and grab a good meal. Personal favorite starters include the mozzarella sticks(ohhhhhh so good) and the garlic rolls which are freaking amazing. As for a meal, my go to is the chicken Caesar salad, or the mini ham and pineapple pizza. All of the food tastes really fresh and authentic. Any item with dough is so flavorful and delicious. Whether it be the pizza crust, garlic rolls, or subs, it all tastes good. Highly recommended. read more

Sergio's is consistently great. Best Margarita Pizza in Midlothian, solid cannot is, and the best mozzarella sticks. No qualifier needed: I have never had handmade mozzarella sticks that were more flavorful, crisp, chewy, or paired so well with red sauce. The other food is great, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to step out of the Margarita and Mozzarella stick realm. They also have the best happy-hour on hull street with a great bar area, awesome selection, and super-friendly staff. Richmond is Full of Italian restaurants! What makes a patron comes back to YOUR restaurant? Not just good food, but knowledge of the menu, knowledge of the drink list, being able to express what you like about your restaurant WITH FEELINGS! That's what you get at Sergios. Kerry our server was very knowledgeable and animated about the menu. She suggested the Blacken Chicken Primavera, blacken chicken, creamy sauce, broccoli, zucchini, squash and CHEESE, GLORIOUS CHEESE! It was DEE-LIC-COUS! The mrs had pizza, go figure. Mike one of the managers came to our table and ran down the list of Drafts, IPA's and locals beers. He was very informative and even told us he does a class for the staff, he was great. The service was on point and the food came out hot and fast. I really like this place and will be returning for the great food and the even greater service, which is very important to my wife and I. While leaving out Mike stopped us and asked "did we enjoy our meals? and please return. We found this place on yelp and decided to eat dinner here. Service is good. They greet you when you first walk in and very welcoming. The waitress took our order with her electric pad. We had calamari for our appetizer. It was good and a good amount for the price. Waitress brought out garlic bread which was delicious. We ordered 2 spaghetti meals. One with meat sauce and a second with tomato sauce and a chicken manicotti. It was a good amount of food and wasn't disappointed at all. I have ordered from Sergio's many times as well as eaten inside the restaurant. This is the first time I've been disappointed. I ordered online ahead to be ready by 5 and had my step daughter go pick it up. She had a picture with the order and order number on it. When she arrived they couldn't locate the order. Apparently since i ordered at about 3 for it to be ready for 5 the ticket for my order was left aside. So she had to wait for them to throw together a pizza and only half the pizza was correct. read more

If you like cold pasta. This is the place for you. The salad is basically all the core of a head of lettuce not the leafy part but the hard inner part that should be discarded comes with 1 slice of tomato, 1 black olive and 1 piece of cucumber. The eggplant was basically a soggy mess and not breaded at all. The pasta that came with it was cold and obviously had been sitting out while other things cooked. The bread is store bought rolls that they throw some garlic powder on. For some reason, they seem to think that as long as it's got tomato sauce and gobs of melted cheese, that makes the meal italian. It's sad when the cheese fries are the best part of the meal. My wife and I stopped there for the first time on Saturday afternoon, after running errands. I ordered a lager, it was a local brew, tasty and refreshing. As an appetizer I ordered the quarter iceberg with blue cheese, hold back the bacon, and pour on the ranch, jt was drizzled with a reduced balsamic vinaigrette, it was fresh, crispy and satisfying, my wife had a bowl of italian wedding soup, with the thought of taking half home. That did not happen, it was so good, she ate it all and ordered one to go. After tasting my iceberg salad, she ordered one for herself. I ordered the vegan panini and was very satisfied eating only half of this supersized sandwich. She ordered a small white pizza with calamari, i tried it, and did not care for it, but she loved it. Patrick waited on us and did a superb job, i had an espresso for dessert, and my wife had a slice of almond cake I think, the thing was gone in a new york minute, she said it was great, i believe it.
