I like this place. They have a phenomenal selection of options. Not just myriad pizza topping options, but all kinds of different options: Salads, sweets, and other things one does not usually see in a strip-mall pizza take-out joint. My family and I ordered a plain-jane pepperoni pizza, a BKPA calzone (highly recommend!), and some dessert thing I can't remember the name of it was little balls of fried doughy heaven dusted with powdered sugary goodness. Not one item was sub-par. Everything was freshly prepared and satisfying. Now we all know that pizza is mainly about the crust and BKPA does NYC proud. The crust is thin, light and foldable. The place was not crowded when I picked up our order. I hope to see them succeed because they deserve to triumph, as decent pizza joints in this part of the county are rare. ridiculous pizza place...ordered a large pizza with extra chicken and they barely put enough chicken on it to feed a small child. kindly asked for more and they refused. the hospitality was terrible. trying to support local in Midlothian but will never get food there again. so disappointed in their lack of customer care, certainly hope the owner takes this comment and runs with it. We were in the area and stopped here for lunch. Slices are big and they had a variety available. We also ordered the honey old bay wings. Pizza: the sauce is delicious, a tad sweet and not too bitter. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Wings: piping hot. They aren't breaded (which I love) but they are still so incredibly crispy. The sauce is so delicious - I'll def be back to order more of these wings. Service was excellent - they aren't allowing anyone to sit inside but they brought us napkins & the wings to a table outside and made sure we were happy with the food. We come to Rockwood Park a lot and will make sure to swing by every time we're in the area. A New York native with Middle Eastern Roots, he brought all of that swag to the pizza + options on the menu. The menu includes items such as; NY chopped cheese hoagie, Chicken shawarma as a pizza topping and even tabbouleh! I did a build your own with red sauce, my toppings were BBQ chicken on half and the other half was Beef& lamb shawarma. Approaching my first bite of the b&l shawarma slice, the garlic and butter sauce hit my taste buds first ! I can't lie. It was UP from there and I went in! The slices are huge, about the size of a paper plate, so I only ate 2. They have such great options for the specialty pizzas at a great price for the size. The pizza I ordered was phenomenal. I usually like my pizza with 'stuff' in it, but I was persuaded to just get a plain cheese pie. It was pipping hot and delicious. The manager did send us another one even though I would've just preferred a $7 refund. The replacement was delivered quickly. Also, ordered a pineapple specialty pizza which was a womping $22!!! Yes $22 for one pizza. The pizza was delivered with raw dough and a whole in it!!! Was missing probably 2 slices due to the whole in the pizza from the toppings and raw dough sliding off the pizza. Hailing from upstate NY, when I see a place that brags about good NY pizza (and there are a ton of them where I live) I felt it a bit of a challenge. :-) I ordered a cheese and mushroom pizza for pick up. The first time I called I had to hang up and call back as I put on hold for more than 7 minutes after the person said, "can you hold just a sec?". Along with my pizza I substituted a side salad. It was a very good deal for $20. (I took a pass on the 2 L free soda.) Very good pizza! Lotsa good flavor. Plenty of sauce and cheese and mushrooms. The salad was very large! And very good. Great NY-style pizza...one just pepperoni and the other pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza. They had quite an array of interesting other pizzas but our teens keep the toppings quite simple. Slices are large and very filling! We also ordered several other items, including garlic knots, wings, 8" Italian grinder and a Jamaican patty. Can't say any of those were particularly great - the Jamaican patty was not very fresh and just heated up - best to stick with Carena's Jamaica Grille up the street. My son said the wings were OK and no one really had much to say about the garlic knots. I got the grinder - it was good but fairly thin in diameter and therefore a bit disappointing. .....Finally found the most authentic NY pizza place around. I am from Long Island NY and we love our pizza. I have tried many places around that are OK but this place is my new favorite. When I ask my daughter where she wants to go to get a slice this is the spot. So first off you need to come hungry. The slices are huge. When I say huge one slice is 1/4 a pie. I have had the cheese, meat lover, and white slices. All were great. Spent a little time chatting with the owner and his wife when we were there. He new right away we were from NY. Real nice couple. I ordered Tabbouleh and it was delicious. I wish the container was actually full but I would order again. Now it seems that this place is known and loved for their variety of specialty pizzas. I really want to try the chicken bacon cheddar ranch pizza and the honey mustard bacon pizza but I was really craving simple traditional pizza so I ordered half cheese, half pepperoni. It's HUGE! The slices are New York style size and one slice will cover your plate and then some. I loved this pizza! The sauce, topping, crust, cheese ratio was damn near perfect. This will be my go-to pizza joint. They also sell pizza by the slice so you can try a wide variety of their popular specialty pizzas before going all in.
