a pepperoni pizza in a box
Gerald H.

This review is for a DoorDash order I made on a Friday night - and is not affected by the time for delivery etc. Ordered one pepperoni pizza and had it delivered to my hotel room. Pizza was fine - and properly topped. I was looking for something special in it - but upon opening the box and on a taste-test, it was pretty underwhelming. Just kind of standard. Not bad - reminded me of a dominos.

Penne, meatball, (supposed to be spaghetti, mushroom, meatballs, extra cheese).? Cold and top of everything burned.
Tami W.

Awful, burned, wrong. Spaghetti was penne. Supposed to have extra cheese. No cheese. Burnt crispy bits. Meatballs burned. However, it was COLD??? Pizza crust burned, no extra cheese, wrong items and cold. Grubhub driver got here w/in 30 minutes of order..actually less. Therefore, food was premade and/or tossed under broiler. Or, I shudder to think? Gross

My special instructions for my pizza
Amanda B.

I ordered online instead of calling. When I got home the "special instructions" I left on my online order form didn't get done. I'm not mad, shit happens I could've checked it before leaving but didn't. The pizza was good anyway. The crust was awesome and the pizza was hot and very flavorful. I'll probably order again. The one thing I didn't like is I couldn't leave a tip cause I ordered online. I didn't have cash and they didn't have a receipt to sign to add it on.

Small pepperoni

Super delicious! Ordered via Door Dash and within 30 minutes it was piping hot at my house. Reasonable prices, but even better - great chewy crust! The cinnamon Stix were just average, but the pizza was the best we've had in the area so far.

Pizza, meat with jalapeños and spinach
Erin C.

I got a medium all meat with jalapeños and spinach. For $21.00 I wouldn't recommend this place. Overall wasn't to satisfied for the price.

Deluxe large pizza ...
Melissa J.

ordered this pizza based on the reviews being so good. Very disappointed ..large pizza 18.91... deluxe was supposed to have pep, sausage, green pepper, red onion mushroom and extra cheese. Just ok ...extra cheese ? That's a joke, very light on the cheese, crust was good. I just couldn't believe I paid 20.00 for a smaller sized less that average pizza. No longer offer buy 1 get 1 on Tuesday ...I won't be back, too many good Italian restaurants around.

Best thin crust pizza ever! They don't skimp on the sauce or the cheese. We will be back!

We got a pepperoni pizza, loaded tater tots, mild lemon pepper wings, a beef patty with pepperoni and cheese, and garlic bread bites. They estimated that the order would take 15-20 minutes to make and when we arrived 17 minutes later they told me they needed five more minutes. They were nice enough to bring it out to the car once it was ready. So we wanted pizza and I think that was the best item that we had. The pizza was piping hot with plenty of cheesy goodness. The sauce was slight sweet and the ratio of sauce to cheese was good. The crust was a good thickness and it was light and slightly chewy. Everything else sort of missed the mark. The wings were ok but not very crispy. The stuffed tater tots tasted like a loaded baked potato, which was great but they also weren't crisp on the outside, which was what I was expecting. The garlic bread bites tasted stale. They were overly chewy and the garlic parmesan topping was inconsistently covering them. The beef patty looked like a frozen patty from the grocery store that had been sliced open with pepperoni and cheese stuffed inside. It looked pretty pitiful and wasn't worth $2 extra for the pepperoni and cheese. I would come here again, but next time, I would only get pizza.

Dear reader,…read more Trapezium Brewing is one of those places that makes you want to linger a little longer. Housed in a beautifully restored industrial building, the space is absolutely massive while still feeling welcoming. It's spotless, modern, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of room indoors and an incredible amount of outdoor seating that's perfect on a nice day. The beer selection is a huge draw, with a rotating lineup that offers something for every palate. Every beer we tried was unique, well crafted, and genuinely delicious. Even if you're not a beer enthusiast, there are great cocktail options too. My Aperol Spritz was crisp, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted on a warm afternoon. The food easily holds its own alongside the drinks. The wood-fired pizzas are absolutely delicious with flavorful toppings and a perfectly crisp crust. It's the kind of pizza you'll find yourself thinking about long after you've left. The staff were friendly, attentive, and impressively quick, creating the relaxed atmosphere that makes this place so enjoyable. Whether you're meeting friends, watching a game, or simply looking for a great brewery with outstanding food, Trapezium absolutely delivers. We've ordered delivery 4 times in the last three weeks and it's been 5-star every single time! I love that there are a myriad of salad options on the menu. They're large, always fresh and very reasonably priced. It's nice to have something light to balance all the cheesy bread I can't stop eating. That stuff (double cheese and double garlic) is freakin' addictive. The garlic butter dipping sauce is my kryptonite. I seriously can't stop eating until the cup is empty. What we all really care about for a pizza place though, is the pizza ... right?! Total winner. I've only tried the regular crust, so I can't review the thin, thick or gluten-free. For me, pizza is all about three things: crust, sauce and cheese. If you mess up one of those components, the whole pizza can easily be ruined. Marco's does a great job with all three. The crust is flavorful and has the perfect chew. Adding a crust topping makes it even better. The sauce has just the right amount of sweetness to maximize the flavor. The cheese blend offers the perfect "stretch" and doesn't taste fake or cheap like some of the other chains. So far, my favorite topping has been the Italian sausage. Soooooo good!! Pair it with pineapple for a sweet/savory combo and you have a winner, winner, pizza dinner. The steak & cheese sub and sweet red chili wings were also good. Would definitely order again! Oh! And the meatballs - they're pretty daggone tasty too. It's a combo of meatballs and their Italian sausage with marinara and cheese. The portion is HUGE! Great as an app for a few people or take a major shortcut to a pasta dinner; you cook the noodles and then top with their meatball tray. Yum! Delivery has been quick, professional and accurate every time! They're offering contactless delivery during covid-19, which is very much appreciated. Btw, this review is for the Colonial Heights location only.

Because of that I can't say much about the service - it was quick and friendly but then again, there was no one else to attend to. We started with garlic knots, but no sooner had we ordered that the server brought us out hot rolls. I don't mean to complain, because those rolls were some of the best hot rolls I have ever had, but if we had known we were going to get bread to start we probably wouldn't have doubled up on the carbs right away! My friend got the lasagna with a side salad, and I got a small chicken ceasar salad and a pepperoni stromboli, planning ahead for leftovers. As we were waiting, the garlic knots came out, and they were delicious. Too many places drown their knots in oil, but these were fluffy with just a little oil and just enough garlic. The real star, though, was the sauce. The dipping sauce is to die for! I'd like to order a few jugs to keep at home for my own pasta. In the meantime, a gentleman came in to dine alone, but it was still empty and awkward. While waiting for the food, I started noticing some small issues. The decor could really use an update - the interior is bland and a little dingy. Dirty ceiling tiles. Old, sometimes stained silk flowers on the tables. Not every table had salt and pepper. There was no music playing, so it was very quiet. It needs a pop of color and some new decor to really make it homey and comfortable. I will say, though, that the kitchen and server areas looked spotless. The food came out fairly quickly and was, like the garlic knots, subtle and delicious. I had some of the best grilled chicken I've ever had on a salad. As for the lasagna, I thought the sauce was a little sour, but my friend said she enjoyed it. My stromboli was good, and their pepperoni had a nice flavor, but it was a little undercooked for my taste. It was strange - it looked crispy, but it wasn't. A little crunch would have really taken it over the top. All in all, I'm not sure why Dante's isn't more busy. Sure, the place needs a refresh, and the server could use a little more training on the menu and how to give really good customer service, but the food is delicious. I also forgot to mention the prices - Dante's prices are excellent. Many things are around $10 for lunch, and that's cheaper than most fast food! If you're in the area, pop in and give them a try. I'll definitely be going back to try some of their other offerings, like a wrap or a sub.
