I have ordered carry out from her multiple times and really have no complaints the pizza is good but the garlic knots are the star of the show. The seasoning they put on the knots is something else. Ordered for the first time. I think we have tried the majority of the blvd pizza places. The pizza and bread looked good, but they were very average in taste. The Julius pizza was supposed to have meatballs and mushrooms, but crumbled meat and no mushrooms in view (maybe 1?) made it a bit disappointing. However, the Greek salad smelled fantastic and my husband thought it was tasty. A decent experience, but will probably stick to our other favorites. read more

Despite other reviews that have been done on the Colonial Heights Chanellos my household has never had a problem. The food has always been the appropriate temperature, tasted great and delivered on time by courteous drivers. I will continue to order from here and I believe there rating for this location should be higher. read more

Update: I had to change my review from 3 stars to 1 star due the lack of professionalism of their staff. An employee in-boxed me via my yelp account to tell me my comment was funny and that I didn't know what I was talking about. Typically love their pizza; but I found I love their pizza when it is fresh. Don't order on slow nights if you do you will get little caesar's kind of pizza. Whatever is left warming you get. Chanellos is really the only pizza place I frequent, however, when ordering through postmates my disatisfactory order arrived late and I was disappointed to find that my bbq chicken pizza was more of a soup than a pizza. I could barely eat it with a fork, much less my hands. Not to mention, my supposedly hand tossed crust was thin asf and could barely support the mountain of toppings they piled onto it. These are extremely appalling qualities for a 14 dollar pizza, I will not be buying from this location again and I advise anyone reading this to do the same. read more

Just picked up big boy pepperoni pizza from Chanellos in Colonial Heights got home pizza literally has 12 pepperonies. Called the shop lady that answered the phone said they now make the pizza with the pepperoni under the cheese she made the pizza. What kind of stupid response is that? Pepperoni is a topping so why put it under the cheese she said next time if I want it on top let the cook know so they can make it how I want. She didn't try to resolve the issue this is a cheese pizza not pepperoni. Very disappointed and annoyed. read more

When i called the second time they hung up right away. The third time from another phone we asked to speak to the manager and were talked to in the worst way. Terrible experience. Worst...customer service....ever. I wish it was possible to give 0 stars. We came into town and ordered one pizza and 8 wings at 10:40pm, as we are driving up north for my grandmother's funeral. We were told the pizza would arrive "within the hour." An hour and ten minutes later, we called to provide our new room #, in case they tried to reach us. Alma told us we didnt need to let the driver know, bc if he had issues getting our pizza to us, the Front Desk would help. When we asked when to expect the driver, Alma told us she didn't know where the driver was, but he's "on his way." Well, another 30 minutes goes by and STILL no pizza. We call and they never put our phone number on the order and made nothing but excuses....no ownership of the "miscommunication." We ended up cancelling our order, not knowing WHERE our order was because....we have to continue traveling early in the am and being up around 1 am for a pizza that we've had to WORK to receive.....unacceptable. what made it worse? One of our traveling companions is diabetic. We ended up having to find something else for her to eat. I can't say enough how disappointed i am in the lack of customer service.
