Came to order subs and take them home. This place is dirty. The soda machine looks like it hasn't been wiped down in a while, the floor hasn't been swept or washed in days. Customers who ate at a table left and nobody wiped the table down after them. Got some iced tea and it tasted like it had been sitting in the container for a while. Really glad we were taking these home. Everyone was very friendly. They wore gloves and masks. Probably won't be back for a while though. The dirty just grossed me out. read more

Recent visit to this location, we have been several times before I just didn't do my review. While the sandwiches are consistent all of the time and very enjoyable I recently realized that there sandwich is the smallest around and the last visit there was little meat and the prices have skyrocketed. I understand pricing has gone up everywhere but it is no longer the value it once was and that's disappointing. Another franchise sandwich shop called Firehouse Subs. We have so much already, but what makes them different from the other chains is the story and how they were established. Coming into the resturant you'll read articles on the walls about two firefighters who came together and started this restaurant. The layout out of this restaurant is a firehouse themed, hence the name. The menu looks pretty much the same as any other sub shops you'll find elsewhere. The names of the subs are clever firefighting names like Hook & Ladder, Engineer, and Smokehouse. You can choose one of their specialty subs or build your own which is always nice. The only difference that sets them apart with their other competitors is they steam their meat before adding it onto the subs and surprisingly it turns out great and my sub always tastes hot. read more

We ordered for the 1st time since COVID19 started. So excited to get the Hook & Ladder & Cheese Steak. What a mistake. Should have gone to McDonalds. Hardly any meat, a thin slice of cheese & no flavor. I've had better subs at Wawa & Subway. They were worth $3.00 not $22.00. Never again!!! called to complain & they told me that corporate dictates amount of food to be on it. They use to be best ever & now worst ever. Wish I could post a pic for everyone to see. Wife and I get supper from there just about every other week. We drive approx 1hr to shop at Walmart across the street and Sam's farther up 288. So we get subs on the way home. Today was no diff. 2 Club on a sub-to go. Told the "Boss"(that's what I call him) no Mayo, tomato or lettuce and don't have to warm/toast it, we're taking it home to eat-about hr I said. He asked, would you like the lettuce/tomato on the side, wife said yes (I didn't hear that). The BOSS put the lettuce in the bottom of a bowl container w/wax paper in between and tomato slices on top. 1000x better than most chain sub shops. The subs are delicious & piled high with tastes meats! I love the hook & ladder and you have to try the meatball sub. You can also get a free 6 inch sub for your birthday.
