I haven't had Long John Silver's in over 15 years, I totally forgot they existed. I just happened to be nearby and decided to order food from the drive in. It's your typical fast food seafood restaurant, they give you a lot of food for a really good price. Is it the freshest seafood no, but it sure hit the spot

    Fish & Shrimp Platter

I had received my order extremely fast. Music and ambiance was on point. Staff was extremely considerate and personable. The food was great, I had gotten a fish and shrimp platter and had no complaints. I also got the lobster bites and those were immaculate. All in all an amazing experience and I will be returning. Fries were kinda mid tho

Arrghh! Ahoy mateys! For a chain restaurant, this location always come through. Typically, I order the fish platter for my Mom... andujar stead of walking the plank, I GET the chicken planks. They are a tad greasy but in a good way! Recently I got her the thick cut fish sandwich and she enjoyed it. The fries are fair, but the Cole slaw and hush puppies are good! Ask for extra "crumbs" because these crispy pieces of breading are crunchy and delish... worth the carbs! They are generous with their sauces and condiments! The prices won't cost you a lot of loot, and the service is shipshape with all hands on deck. Sail on in to the drive thru for a quick meal on the go!

#1 platter with an extra piece of fish, green beans and corn as a side.

It's ok. Service ok, food ok and that's really it. Their green beans though are pretty good lol. I wouldn't particularly jump up and say I want LJS but it's a nice option considering this corner has 3 burger places and 2 chicken places.

    Waiting in line.... so excited

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I didn't even get anything because of the poor service I received at the drive through ... I won't be going back.

The heat was perfect, the coating crispy, and the wedges were always on point. I couldn't come to Richmond without grabbing spicy wings. So when the owner decided to stop making the spicy wings and convert the fry station to breast strip fryers, that was it for me. That spicy recipe was the reason I came. Without it, this just isn't the same place. I won't be back unless the spicy chicken makes a return.

I ordered five, three piece dinners Friday February 6, 2026 and me and family ended up with upset stomachs from the meals. The chicken seemed as if it was cooked in burt cooking oil. The macaroni and cheese was runny with liquid in it. The potato wedges were not fully cooked as if the staff was in a rush to serve customers in the drive thru. I had already had a problem in the same store at lunch time on the same day. The young lady in the drive thru window did not understand English very well and therefore she messed up my order. I had to get out the car and come to try to get a refund. The managers did not apologize initially. After about 10 minutes I stopped one of the managers that came from the back and I told her my problem. She did her best to try to fix the problem. Later, the manager on the serving line finally apologized. I was told that Lees Chicken was one of the best in Richmond. Well, I have had three bad experiences in less than a week and a half. I tried to give this establishment a chance three times. First, you have to fully cook the food before you sell it to customers or someone is going to get sick lick we did. Mind you I spent almost $70.00 on this food and we all ended up sick. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me to discuss the matter. Thank you for reading my review and I hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Rodney (804) 929-7938

It is fast casual - you order at the kiosk and grab a place to eat, listening for your number and/or text to alert you the food is ready. We arrived about 6pm on a Saturday night. It was busy and I grabbed one of the last two tables. It got very busy shortly after we placed our orders. The dining area is pretty big with plenty of bar seating around the windows. While we all ordered one after the other, our food didn't come out that way. Most of the food came out in about 25-30 minutes. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy! Two people got tenders and three of us got sandwiches. The OG sandwich was very good, just messy! I ended up using a fork and knife bc it got too messy. The Mac and cheese was made with pimento cheese and was very good. My friend who got the fried green tomatoes said they were delicious and filling. Lots of goodies on top. Two friends enjoyed the collards. The only person who was underwhelmed was the person who got the Asian sandwich. Overall, if I wanted a good chicken sandwich and a Buttermilk and Honey was nearby, I'd place an order.

We walked in to find the staff bustling, cooking, and prepping orders, and the smell of some delicious fried chicken in the air. I saw the kiosks and was not too thrilled with the Wawa experience, but we gave it a shot anyway, since fried chicken is one of our favorites. The process was simple and allowed us to add or remove anything we could want, so that was nice. While walking to find a seat, we saw a person panhandling in the dining area, but the staff promptly removed him from the premises. I ordered us the Pimento Cheese Balls for an appetizer, and I chose the Fried Chicken and French Toast as my entree because I always try the "chicken and waffles" at every establishment that offers it. My partner ordered the OG Chicken Sandwich without tomato, and it came with crinkle-cut fries. It was about $40. The chef proclaimed our order was ready in quick succession, maybe three orders behind the guests before us. We waited about ten minutes, maybe fifteen at most. We picked up the orders from the counter, and there was a mix-up on the syrup, but the chef promptly rectified the situation. He was a no-nonsense kind of guy; straight to the point. He seemed firm, yet kind. It was clear the day had been a busy one; he even told us as much, which was great to hear (busy = fantastic food). The French toast squares looked like rye or pumpernickel, and they emitted a sweet aroma, a delightful hit of cinnamon and brown sugar. I drizzled the caramel syrup on my chicken and toast, sliced a piece, and paired a bite of chicken with the toast. I closed my eyes to savor the flavors: the toast was crunchy and almost gooey (yet, not overly so), the chicken was crunchy, the sweet cinnamon-y flavors from the toast, the caramel from the syrup, and the tender, moist chicken were a match made in culinary art. I cannot sufficiently describe the French toast in a way that would do it justice; it was crunchy and semi-gooey, and all scrumptious. I can only say it was the single best French toast that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Next, I tried the fried pimento cheese balls. Oh my. If you like mozzarella sticks, try these. I adored them: elevated fried cheese, for real. My partner enjoyed her sandwich as well; she ate everything except some of her fries. I saved half of my chicken and toast for today because I am like a treasure golem when it comes to delicious leftovers. I am going to air-fry the chicken and skillet-heat the toast back to its original goodness. I told the cooks that that was the best French toast that I have ever had, and I mean it. Do yourself a favor and try it if you're into French toast. This one is the GOAT. Side note: I spoke with the head chef outside, and he is from another branch (possibly Henrico?) to whip this location back into shape. Two words: "Nailed it."

Not much flavor. Kids chicken strips were a chicken patty that was overcooked and cut up. Also came out lukewarm at best. The Rueben was soggy and had about three slices of meat on it. Very little sauce on the sandwich no and was charged for extra when I asked for more. Added the Parmesan truffle fries which were powered Parmesan with some truffle oil sprinkled on top. Again all lukewarm. The Timberwolf burger had maybe two jalapeño's on it and the onions were burnt. The regular burgers and kids are the same size. Housemade pickles were soggy and the cucumber skins were tough. The quality of food from when we had eaten here a couple years ago was subpar in comparison. If you are going to charge for upscale items then they need to be upscale in the quality of what you are serving. Will not be back.
