It is really hard to say goodbye to a pizza business after almost twelve years of faithful purchases, but this time it is a matter of principle- no matter that it was a small purchase. ‍ I think we experienced one FUBAR order at Cousin Vinney's Pizza since we've been giving them our business, and that was approximately nine years back; and they made the error good by giving us a credit on a future visit. But not this time! Everyone has a bad day-- I get it! I never was in the restaurant business, and I'm sure it isn't easy- but all I wanted was to get a replacement pizza on our account after receiving a large thin crust pie with pepperoni and extra sauce. But it looks like I ran into one very polite and caring employee who was caught in the middle, and a "manager" who was a no-show this last Tuesday. I called and ordered the following: * One large regular crust pepperoni with extra sauce. * One large thin crust pepperoni with extra sauce. When we arrived home we noticed the regular crust pizza was fine; the thin crust pizza was burned in places and very dry. We notified the store the next day at around 1500 hrs. The person on duty was polite but couldn't authorize a credit. The manager was out of the building so we set up a tone for him to call me. He never did. We even texted a picture of the burnt pizza to the assistant's phone. It's all in the attached texts- his number is redacted. Doc L. read more

Cousin Vinny's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Midlothian, Virginia

At one point they were really good but like so many take out/delivery places the way they use unprofessional delivery people really makes me say, no thank you to what you are selling read more

Ordered delivery so I can't speak to the staff, service, or ambiance but the pizza was just ok. Comparable to Marco's Pizza chain. Ordered extra cheese and either I paid for something I didn't get or they are extremely skimpy on toppings. Also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip. It was ok. Nothing particularly special. I don't see myself going back. read more

Pizza was very tasty and a good blend of flavors. My kids loved the wings and wanted more.

This place was good! I'd order here again. It's been recommended by friends before and we finally tried it for the game. The sauce really stands out. It's sweet and savory, definitely a good balance of sugar&salt added with good seasonings too. It made the cheese sticks stand out and the pizza really balanced well. 100% mozzarella vs other mozz/jack mixes stood out, great flavor. Good cook and stability in the crust. All around solid place. read more

too much sauce lately that my pizza is soggy. but other than that it's good .

Just had my first order ever from this restaurant and I have to say that I was absolutely blown away!! I don't often branch out to try new things, but my favorite pizza place disappointed me the last few times, so I figured I'd give something new a go. My entire family loved it- and that's a feat in itself because we can never agree on food!! Absolutely outstanding!! read more

Had this pizza recently and it was delicious and made exactly how I ordered it ... extra sauce, extra cheese, sausage, ground beef, and onion on a thin crust. Their cheese sticks are awesome as well. Picked it up and it was hot and ready to go. I would recommend trying them soon! read more

Cousin Vinny's Pizza - Medium thin crust with extra cheese, extra sauce, sausage, ground beef, and onion ... made perfectly! - Pizza Near Me - Midlothian, Virginia

No fancy ambience here. Just a really good pie! I went with the thin crust as my judge of this pizza. Service for pickup was fast. Between 20-25 minutes when I walked in. It was well done and the ingredient proportion was very good. Crust was light and crispy. I went with pepperoni, mushroom and green olives. The flavors were well mixed and not heavy from one area to another. In town for work and will definitely be back to this establishment! read more

Not only is the pizza really good, but the guys who work here are really friendly. The best thing I can say about this place is that they were open late on Christmas night, and not only that, but the food was great and the entire staff was in a great mood. When literally everywhere else was closed, these guys were open, happy, and still doing a great job with their food. That was 10 months ago and I'm posting about it now because I'll honestly forget that experience! I don't even live in Virginia read more

I generally do not review chain restaurants, but Cousin Vinny's is some pretty good pie that you can obtain in the middle of the night, and I respect that. The crust is thick and chewy and decent if you are into that. It's not my favorite, but it is much better than most chain pizzerias. It has a cheesy flavor unto itself. Sauce is sweet and heavily seasoned with oregano. The cheese is real and has a traditional mozzarella stringy texture, not a processed, spongy one. Take out and delivery only. Pepsi products. Pleasant and efficient staff. Short wait time. Really affordable pricing with better quality than most. A good value and open very late. read more

This joint was near our house and makes a delicious pie. Fast, fresh, and that crust is always on point. We've visited CV's for three years now and have never had an expletive that wasn't great. They have online ordering and the staff are always pleasant to work with. Be sure to try the garlic crust on your next Cousin Vinny's pie! read more

Late one night I was really craving pizza and either grub hub or door dash had a free delivery deal here. I ordered the meat lovers pizza. It arrived nice and hot and fresh. I got a 10 inch size and it was perfect for me. It was a really great meat lovers pizza and I find myself still craving it days later. Normally I just get pepperoni and sausage but for whatever reason this pizza jumped out at me on the menu. I'm so glad I ordered it and now that I'm writing this I might just have to go order another one. read more

Cousin Vinny's Pizza - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Midlothian, Virginia

I only recently decided to stop in this place that I've driven by numerous times for the past 2yrs. Ughhhh, why didn't I stop sooner?!? I LOVE pizza and this place hits the spot. It's affordable, fast and yummy. The sauce is and cheese ratio is about as perfect as it can get! The management is genuinely & promptly addressed a "question/concern" with a polite answer and smile that made me feel like an appreciated patron. I'll certainly make this a "Go To" when I'm in the area. - I can only imagine that those with less than favorable experiences, may have caught them on a bad day... and let's be honest, we all have those once in a while. Maybe try them again. - I've ordered takeout twice and both times the pizza was great. read more

The pizza from here is always good! I always get the medium size and it's enough for dinner for myself and lunch the next day.

Ordered for online delivery, and they canceled our order immediately. We had to retrench and come up with a new plan. If you can't deliver, don't advertise you have delivery. read more

Decided to order out pizza while moving my kids into a new house, and Cousin Vinny's was a great choice. We ordered several, and they all were very good, especially the pepperoni & banana peppers. A "go to" when we want something quick and can't make up our mind. Have gone at all different times and days and they are always consistent which in the pizza game is never easy. Ordering is easy, never an error. Pie is always cooked just right. Staff is friendly, prices are good value. read more

Saw the high reviews for this place and decided to try it. Unfortunately, their pizza quality was similar to that of dominos or Pizza Hut. If that is your style, then go for it. But this did not mirror an authentic or homemade pizza spot. It was not for us, and we would not return. read more

We are from NYC and well we have our strong opinions about pizza especially the crust. Vinny's was good pizza. We probably will try it again. read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places in town!! Everything is so good! We love the hot and BBQ wings

Great pizza and wings with a very friendly staff. This is definitely one of my go to places for pizza.

When you fold your slice in half there's a puddle of pizza grease that drips out!! Now that makes for some delicious NY style pizza. This pizzeria is the best pizza I've ever had in Virginia, and the closest thing to home for me. If you've never tried this pizza I highly suggest that you do. The crust, the sauce, the cheese!!! It's all so delicious!!! A++++ read more

We were looking for a place beyond the usual pizza hut or known chains. I came across this as a new one and a close one so I said why not. The pizza was done very quickly too order we got the cheese bread and the American Favorite pizza. The cheese bread is very buttery and cheesy very much worth the price as an appetizer. The pizza was much better salty but still the ingredients were fresh and the taste was good. I would think about using them again. read more

I moved to this area in the summer of 2017 and always had ordered the chain pizza and kept getting disappointed by them. I finally had the guts to try this place and I will NEVER order from anywhere else. If I want pizza, it's Cousin Vinny's pizza or no pizza at all. They always have consistent pizza so you know what you're getting every time and every time it's perfect! They never skimp on toppings. And they have great deals! I usually do the 2 for $22 large pizzas. It is an upcharge for different sauces like ranch or alfredo, but that doesn't bother me at all. I will always pay more for great food and they have never let me down in that area. read more
