    I've been here a couple of times over past few years, and I have to say it used to be much better in the past. I liked this store for the variety of brands and product lines they carry, but after the most recent experience I wouldn't want to return. The customer service barely exists here anymore, not all but some of their beauty advisors aren't willing to help and so impatient with questions. The store manager gave me a hard time at check out, probably the worst Sephora experience. Long story for short, lack of service and unprofessional attitude.

    Came in here looking for a few options to back up my purchase a few weeks ago of the latest Channel Blue for men. I wanted to look for a viable second and third option since I definitely don't rock the Chanel every single place I go. LOL So I headed to the men's section of colognes, and while I didn't settle on any particular brands, there were a nice selection to choose from. What would have been nice is if they had a few more people out on the floor as their were hoards and hordes of customers waiting on service. This says nothing of the immense line that people who were ready to buy something had to wait in. In fact, I got borderline claustrophobic. The few interactions I did have were pleasant, but it just came off as though the workers there were overwhelmed. They probably need to look into hiring a few more people as we head deep into retail season.

    Allie helped me out so much last Wednesday! I was looking for something very specific and hard to find cbd lux body oil/serum that we are actually on our 3rd bottle of :) I saw that this location carries it and called the store for when they opened on Wednesday and they only had one bottle in stock for me and put it on hold for me to come in and pick up. They didn't have to do this for me but they made a one time exception because I needed it asap and this was the only place in the tristate area with it in stock so I feel very very fortunate to have got my hands on it!     My little cousin is in town, so I got guilted into taking her to Sephora... and by guilted I mean she asked me to take her and I said yes ahahahaha I'm the easiest get with her. Upon entry, I was hit with what I thought was chemical warfare. Thousands of scents amalgamated together to form one of the strongest smells that have ever hit my nostrils. I squinted and almost fell to my knees, but I couldn't show weakness with my little cousin present. We wandered about the maze that is Sephora, and I had NO idea how deep this make up thing ran. I mean I knew, but I really didn't KNOW as I don't have a sister. I am a pretty curious person, so ended up asking my cousins thousands of questions to the point where I don't even remember anything due to pure information overload. My brain just switched off and blacked out essentially. The brain is a funny thing, a real interesting organ. As we were checking out, my jaw hit the floor when I saw a $200+ price point for like 7 little items. They are hittin LICKS in here ahhahaa. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

    I had a wonderful experience at this Sephora location. I've never really worn makeup but on special occasions I do like to put a little on. I went looking for an everyday lipstick and was totally overwhelmed. I swatched a million on my hand but wasn't really sure what I was looking for or looking at. Also as my hair continues to grey my eyebrows do too. I asked a wonderful sales person for a little help. Not only did they point in the right direction they also showed me how to apply as well as the benefits of the particular eyebrow pencil. They also helped me find the right color. Ricki (Ricky) not sure of the spelling but I can't thank you enough for helping me and making me feel welcome. I will be back because of you. Thank you

We had Victoria as our guide, and she was super funny, helpful, friendly, and patient with us. She let us try multiple combinations to find our perfect scent for our candles, and even gave us some suggestions when we were stuck on what scent would go best with what. She walked us through how to adjust the color of the wax, and educated us on the general candle making process. The candles only took an hour to solidify and were ready for pickup, so we just grabbed a quick bite while waiting. Would 10/10 bring a friend here to do this again, and HIGHLY recommend taking a class with Victoria! She knows how to work a crowd and made the experience 10x better!

I had such a nice time that I booked another experience to celebrate my daughter's birthday. This time was different and felt ... perfunctory. We arrived right before our scheduled time, I was starting to tell the person who received us (I was told she was the owner even) that we had arrived quite a bit early (like we got there before the store even opened so we walked around for a bit before arriving 1 min before our reservation) before she abruptly said no it was already time and everyone else had gotten started. Just reminded me of the plethora of email reminders I'd received from them reminding us to arrive on time, allow time for parking, etc. She didn't even greet us or say hello or welcome. Never introduced herself, never asked our names. Just a "do you have a reservation?" And told us to put our stuff down (didn't tell us where) and put on an apron. We ended up putting our things down on someone else's seats because others were standing in front of ours while four others were choosing their scents for their candles. Told us we'd have to wait since there was no room for us to choose our scents so we just stood there. No one even said, hey why don't you wander around the store for a bit until space clears up. And why rudely tell us they'd already started when we just had to stand there and wait anyway? I really felt like we were in the way rather than paying customers, so I told my girls they could look around the shop for a minute rather than awkwardly stand there in front of someone else's seats. The person who helped us with our candle making was nice but kind of just gave us instructions of what to do. One of the girls mentioned how it was kind of like chemistry class so we all talked about science for a bit. I reminded the staff that the day was for my daughter's birthday (I had specified on the reservation) so she gave a quick little happy birthday before moving on. I didn't feel she was particularly helpful though. I asked how we can decide how much of one scent versus another and she just said you kind of just smell it. My daughter asked if she could make the color of her candle a little lighter and the person was just like, well, we can't guarantee what it will look like, but she was very helpful in breaking up the colored wax for her. When we returned to pick up our candles, that was it, they were just sitting there on the counter, packaged up and crammed into one little bag. I wanted to ask for another bag since each candle was going to a different household, but the staff gave off vibes of "go away". I distinctly remember the first time, each candle was packaged in their own little bag with the lid off the candle and they told us it was really important to let the candle "cure" and completely dry for three days before putting the lid on or lighting it. This time the candles were sealed up, no thank you for coming. No I hope you enjoy your candles. I can only assume this day was an outlier and maybe the staff were having a not great day. The experience is not cheap at $60 for which you create a 7 oz candle. I understand the cost isn't just for a candle, but for the experience of creating. The cost of the materials was probably minimal. But for that expense, I would have expected the experience to be a little less icy and a little more friendly (like during my first visit). Thankfully, my girls enjoyed their candles and had fun and were super thankful.

    I came in today to pick up an online order and left really disappointed with the service. When I…read morewalked in, there were two associates at the counter and no other customers in line. One of them, Michelle, offered to assist me. She found my order, grabbed the product, and began to finish the pickup process. Since this was an online pickup, I had already paid, she only needed to hand me the product and print the receipt. However, right as she was about to do that, another customer walked up behind me in line. Instead of completing my pickup, she suddenly stopped helping me and switched to assist him, saying he was there first. That made no sense because there was no one waiting when I arrived, and she had already been helping me. To make matters worse, by the time she turned to that customer, the second associate had already started helping someone else , leaving me awkwardly standing off to the side for several minutes over what should've been a 30-second pickup. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. If she was in the middle of something else, she shouldn't have taken my order in the first place. The whole interaction left a bad taste, and I'll be returning my order.

Anyway, I went in and returned the item and ended up buying lots of other items with the help of the store manager, Yolanda Lopez. She was fantastic at suggesting things I would appreciate and giving me her honest opinion. I couldn't be happier with her service and want to give her the recognition she deserves for such outstanding service. I have been shopping at Bloomingdales etc for all my makeup needs. Since I've always trusted this location, I decided to continue with the appointment. The stylist was very kind, and my silk press turned out nicely. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was extremely disappointing. I have curly hair, and the layers were not blended properly at all. The cut created a harsh "shelf" effect, with very obvious disconnected layers that make it difficult to wear my hair naturally curly now. I understand mistakes happen, and I do appreciate the stylist's professionalism and kindness, but textured/curly hair requires experience and proper blending techniques. I wish the appointment change had been communicated more clearly beforehand so I could have decided whether to reschedule. I'm really disappointed because I trusted this salon and have had positive experiences here in the past.
