Had a wonderful experience buying MAC products. From the moment I walked in I was greeted very pleasantly. After mentioning that I used the online color match and the foundation was too dark I was told they would be with me shortly. I ended up being helped by Joanna and I told her I was interested in getting a color match for foundation and concealer. She went above and beyond not only showing me my shades but also showing me how to prevent creases on my under eyes. The makeup looked so great that even my partner commented on how great and natural it looked when I got home. I would highly recommend the ladies at this location but especially Joanna. read more

impossible to park and get in here. the paid hour of makeup blows. the workers are not allowed to work on you exclusively - they have to help anyone who comes in to the store they will not recommend anything unless you buy the first thing they recommend. want a colour match? not unless you buy the primer first. read more

Decided to take a stroll for Pokémon Go Deino Community Day! We were here for Sidecar Doughnuts as well but needed to walk around. Beautiful little mall but not many shops. There are mainly home/furniture shops and that's about it. It's a nice mall to hang out and get away from the sun, especially since they have super comfy couches and chairs! This is for the MAC in Macy's. I had Amy do my makeup for a photoshoot yesterday and everything went really well! The previews I've seen for the photos look very good. One of my main points for what look I wanted was that it needed to show well for photos. She did a natural brown/cream/white eye with lashes, and a Ruby Woo red lip. First of all, Amy is so nice and easy to talk to. She was very gentle in applying the makeup, and I felt comfortable the whole time. The entire process was about an hour, which was great for me (even less time than I had planned for). Amy even helped passing customers during the session because she was the only staff member there for a short time. It didn't feel invasive, and she was so kind to every other customer as well. It's amazing that you can get full makeup done, and all you have to do is buy makeup you already want to buy for yourself! I highly recommend this MAC location. Thanks! read more

First time, great time. I was looking for a concealer, and had heard MAC brand was good. I had fallen asleep watching my iPad and it fell on my face, leaving a bruise. There were a bunch of people milling about in the small store, but thankfully no one near the concealers. The staff let me browse a while and then a kind associate came to help and confirmed I had found the exact shade using the tester. It is called Studio Finish SPF 35 and it is perfect. She knowledgeably answered my questions about using and blending the concealer and I am a happy camper, on my way in 10 minutes and no longer feeling like I have to explain this mark on my face. read more

I'm always very hesitate to get my make-up done since I do it on very special occasions. I know they are professionals but at least for me I fear that I won't like it or it won't be want I want. I booked an appointment at this location because the one I regularly go to was not available. I arrive and was greeted by Brianna and was told to take a seat. In the meantime, I was looking on my phone for ideas on what kind of look I was going for. I am very specific on how I like my make up to look. For example, I always inform the make-up artist I do not like too much make (cake face). I forgot to mention and just showed her a picture. We began to engage in conversations and even asked about the occasion for my make-up. I mentioned it was for a wedding and it went from there. An hour later she finished my make-up and surprisingly I didn't peek every 10 minutes to see if it was looking ok. I even noticed people walking by and starring so I didn't know if it was good or bad. Once I looked in the mirror I absolutely fell in love with my make-up. I got my makeup done by Melissa Nash at this location on 2/10/2018. Aside from my go-to routine of eyeliner, mascara, lip stainer, and filling in my eyebrows a little, I am clueless when it comes to makeup. I let Melissa know I was going to attend a wedding the following weekend, and asked her if she can walk me through a look that would be suitable for a wedding and easy enough for me to recreate myself. She did a great job of explaining how to apply every product she used. Among my favorites were the Burgundy Lip Pencil, Spiked Brow Pencil, and Studio Finish Concealer. Horrible customer service, lack of supplies, Nicky 3 encounter have been nothing but rudeness from the staff. If you don't like your job or being around people, please find mother career. Went to the store this evening (10/13) to buy a travel size fix plus after recently running out. I quickly found what I needed and walked to the register. The store was empty per usual and there was only one employee (an African American woman) on the sales floor and two employees sitting and talking in the back room. Not only was I ignored when walking into the store (which is tiny), but when I asked the only employee on the sales floor if I could have someone ring me up she rudely responded "you can wait until I finish up here." She seemed bothered and upset that I even asked her a question. I asked if she was the only person working at the time and she pointed to the back room and said one is on lunch and idk what the other is doing. I was in a great mood, especially it being Friday and all, but her stank miserable attitude for no reason at all quickly reminded me why I don't come to this store often. I was very polite when I asked for assistance (as I could already tell she didn't want to help me) so the ugly attitude was completely uncalled for, but lucky for her I bit my tongue and thought I'd write a review instead. The manager ultimately came out and rang me up - she was very nice and I did make sure to let her know. The employee who caused me to write this review needs more training or a different type of job, maybe even some soul searching. As for me, I'd rather drive the extra mile to go to the MAC store in El Segundo where the girls are always happy and eager to help. read more

I get it, it's National Lipstick Day, people want freebies, you want to make sales. It's annoying I know I've worked retail and in cosmetics as well. But here's the thing, if you ignore someone at your counter, you miss an opportunity for a potential sale. Promotions like this are easy money if you are on you customer service game. It's literally like shooting fish in a barrel!!! I came here after I got my free lipstick at a stand alone mac store nearby. I wanted to replace my lip liner and it was WAY too much drama to do it at that store. I came here because I know it would be quieter and I thought I would be helped. No such luck. I had a wonderful experience today at Mac. I walked in with no appt and was helped with in a minute. Irena greeted me and I asked her to help find me lipstick to match my red dress. In doing so I also bought lip liner, pressed powder and lipgloss. Before leaving she quickly put bronzer on my cheeks without asking because she didn't want me to look so washed out with just the powder, which asked her to put everywhere. After paying I left to go to lulu Lemon next door for 45 minutes. I kept noticing in the changing room how nice the broker made me look. I immediately went straight back to Mac after and asked for Irena. Another employee went in the back and got her for me. She was clearly on break or lunch but she didn't hesitate to help me. She nice lady. I purchase the bronzer. I was extremely happy with Irena for giving me such a positive experience. She was extremely helpful knowing exactly what I needed without being pushy. I really appreciated that. Maybe the bad reviews before were taken to heart and there is a new staff there now. Because everyone there was nice. Thank you Irena!! read more

Everytime I come to this store it seems like they're in a rush to get rid of me. On top of that even though I buy their products they seem to "always" be out of containers for samples. I can't believe this cosmetic shop was not on yelp yet. I come here all the time to get my make up and to see what new tip any of these artists can give me. I am a big MAC make up fan, and I have to say I have visited many make up shops all my life, and this one is by far my favorite! I give it 5 stars because all the girls here are awesome, down to earth and always have a smile for me! Last time I went I was helped by the managers!! Carla and Brittany.
