Went here today with my friend cause we wanted to look at the bath bombs and this lady in the photo whispered something to her coworker and then they both turned around and just stared at us. Hmm. Weird. Seems like they profiled us and were accusing us of stealing or maybe they got offended cause we didn't want to talk. If I ask a simple question then I'm gonna get thrown with a million other questions so of course I'm gonna avoid it. Lush please stop training your employees to be annoying.

Located inside the Del Amo Mall in Torrance. They do practice all the Covid rules and are very nice and helpful. I came her to get the soap bars. The gal sorry I forgot her name was very helpful from the start. As I got there she very nicely said the store is at capacity and to please wait so while waiting I asked her about the Lush soap bars and as customers were leaving she was about to tell me about them and said oh ok come in and I'll show you where they are so she pointed out the popular ones and the ones she liked. So I went with two the honey one and the lavender one. As I was waiting in line to check out the same gal asked me if I was paying cash or card and I said card and she said she can help check me out. What great customer service. I'll be back again.

Lush can be a bit overwhelming when perusing but once you discover what you love, you're good! At least that's what my experience has been like. I have a sensitive nose so I have to go more light and subtle with scents. Here's my faves and must tries: *It's Raining Men: honey scented shower gel. Literally heaven to my nostrils and glory to my skin. Leaves you soft. *The Olive Branch: Shower gel infused with yep, olive oil and mandarin oil. Great for colder months. *Buffy: Exfoliating bar that is also a body butter. After using, you may not need lotion. *Ultrabland: Facial cleanser that's great for getting your face super clean. Sorta feels like it leaves a residue but trust, the result is a moisturized face. Good for sensitive skin. *Helping Hands: Chamomile hand cream that leaves your hands moisturized. I have dry hands throughout the year. This hand cream really comes through. I don't have to reapply as often as I normally have to with other hand creams. Also there's tons of cute pre-assorted gift boxes. My favorite is the Honey gift box because it has all of the sweet scents that I love. F.Y.I.:Be sure to check the expiration dates.

    Smells so delicious!

Located right on the corner of Crenshaw and PCH, this location is very easy to find. Once inside, you'll discover that this business has all of the stuff that Sephora is known for. It's a fairly large location, that's fully stocked. Sephora is one of those businesses that you can really take some time inside, seeking to find that new lotion or whatever that can really help reshape the overall texture and/or beauty of your face and other body parts. This shop is fully stocked. So, you can really find what you need. Plus, if you know where what you're looking for is located, you can walk right in, grab it, pay for it, and head out the door. The staff here are all fairly nice. As is the case with all Sephora, they tend to be a little heavy on the sales. Meaning, they come up to, and the only reason they really want to talk to you is to get their commission moving upwards. But, that's just the nature of this business. Can't hate on that. Overall, this store is very well organized. It's very clean. And, it's easy to find what you're looking for. Plus, once you grab what you need, paying for it it's very easy at the cash register in the back. In terms of parking, this Sephora is located at the edge of a strip mall. Meaning, there's a lot of parking. This being said, this parking lot can become a real mess. In fact, it's one of the parking lots that I really dislike driving into, unless I really need to. This isn't any criticism of the store, this is just something you need to keep in mind. Particularly during peak hours, this parking lot can become a gridlocked mess. FYI. Overall, if you're looking for what's Sephora offers, does a great place to get it.

I bought a microdermabrasion facial on Groupon thinking that I might find a cool new place as my previous facialist had moved out of town. Booking my appointment was easy but the first time was cancelled by the office due to an ill facialist. Illness happens, okay, no worries. The second (rescheduled) visit though, was dismal. Minus Star - First of all, this is NOT a spa. This is a doctor waiting room playing spa muzak. Was horrified that I didn't know this and left my mask in my car. While they did provide me one, no-one at reception was wearing hers of the three visible staff. When one goes for treatment, there are folks chatting in the area just outside the treatment room door. Not relaxing. Minus Star - Second of all, the waiting room was packed. I overheard two ladies complaining to each other that they had been waiting for over an hour. The receptionist told me there wasn't a room yet available. After 25 minutes of waiting I told her I couldn't wait anymore. Ended up being treated within 2 minutes. That made my departure 90 minimum after arrival. Minus Star - The treatment room was not comfortable. I mentioned this to Myra my facialist and she said it was cold but didn't ask if I wanted another blanket or anything else that could make me comfortable. I had to ask for a bolster for under my knees, but what she ended up bringing me was a small pillow, like you'd have on the sofa. Minus a half Star - There were many positives about the facial but big ugh was bright light in my eyes whole time with no eye covering. While there were redeeming qualities about the facial, this was endemic to what felt like a lack of personal attention to the comfort of the client. Minus a half Star - the bathroom in the doctors office was not functioning. If you want to use the restroom, you have to go down the hall. Would have been nice to know this before my treatment.... Again, this is part of the lack of holistic attention to the client. The facial its self was fine. She did a good job getting my skin clean and the oxygen did keep it from running. However, the sunscreen or whatever topical cream she applied before I left made my skin sticky. Came back for my 2nd facial and it was a worse experience. Not as long a wait but aesthetician did not even introduce herself, never told me what she was doing as she was doing it and then when she finished, I asked her where was the oxygen and she said they weren't doing that anymore. What?! TL/dr: Not a spa experience but a okay facial.

I was genuinely excited to find one closer to me. When we arrived, I already knew which foundation I was looking for and just needed help finding my shade. We were greeted by the cashier, a middle-aged Asian woman, who was friendly at first and helped me search for my shade. She also mentioned that some items were on sale for their Black Friday event, so we were excited to continue shopping. My friend picked out a couple of lipsticks and went to the register first. When she handed them over, the cashier sternly said, "No sale on these items!" The tone was very off-putting. I immediately looked up, and my friend calmly replied, "Yeah, I know." The interaction felt extremely odd, especially considering how kind the cashier had been to me just moments before. I ultimately decided to skip the foundation and purchased a Laneige makeup serum instead. The cashier rang me up, and that was the end of our interaction. I understand that Aritaum locations are independently owned, and I know every store is different. However, my experience at the previous location was consistently great. I was often given many samples, which encouraged me to try new products and led to multiple purchases over time. At this location, I wasn't given any samples, which I understand--but that's not the main issue. The reason for my two-star review is what happened as we were leaving. My friend said, "That was the most racist experience I've had in a long time. I honestly think she was mean to me because of my skin complexion." When a salesperson clearly favors one customer and treats another paying customer differently, it's hard to ignore the possibility that this played a role. We were both polite, we both made purchases, yet my friend was treated poorly for no apparent reason. I don't feel comfortable supporting a business that: 1. Doesn't carry foundation shades beyond lighter complexions, and 2. Treats paying or even browsing customers in this manner. I'm really disappointed, because I was hoping this would be a place I could return to.

I received some Laneige samples along with my purchase, which was nice. I've only used lip moisturizers, so I'm excited to try their other products.
