We came here with our toddler son, and ordered the All you can eat meals. We received all sorts of quality meats and seafood (shrimp, squid, steak, beef, pork belly). It came with tons of sides (corn cheese, kimchi, pickled onion, and dipping sauces). They had kids options for my son included: white rice, corn cheese, fries and corn dogs! We absolutely loved it! We had all you can eat and chose AYCE which meant the entire party shared all of the same meat and side choices which actually worked out perfect. Service was excellent. Food and drink refills were timely and we did not lack a thing. The ambience was really good. Well lit, and extremely clean with a lively playlist of music. We didn't wait long as we made a reservation and were almost immediately seated. Busy night as we visited on a Friday but it didn't affect our service or experience. This place is AMAZING! The best Korean bbq hands down in the triangle area. They do always have a long wait so keep that in mind when you're planning to eat here, especially with a large group. Also, if you are not familiar with Korean bbq you have to cook the meat yourself (the wait staff will help, but they are very busy). Last time I came, a very rude lady was upset because she didn't know the food had to be cooked by herself and took out her misunderstanding on the staff which is unacceptable. Be respectful of the Korean culture and enjoy the experience!! The menu has a large selection of meats and sides as well as a bar to accommodate any alcohol requests which is another big part of the Korean bbq experience. We went as a group of 8 for the AYCE for $40 per person. Overall, it was a pleasant AYCE KBBQ experience. Reservations: If you have a group of more than 6 people, you can email or use their website to place a reservation. They'll email you back confirming your time. This was an easy, no-fuss process for us. AYCE logistics: Once the group is seated, there's a 100 minute time limit for AYCE. There's a barcode for the AYCE menu, which includes a variety of meats as well as unlimited ban chan and a few sides. You place your order with the server. They bring out the ingredients, and you cook everything yourself. Food: - The marinated shoulder blade and the spicy beef bulgolgi were the clear favorites at our table - There's no actual galbi; instead, they have these "patties" that are supposed to take the place of galbi, but really just aren't the same - The ban chan was fine: spicy cucumber, kimchi, bean sprouts, potatoes, macaroni salad - Side dishes: salad was okay; the creamed corn was as expected; the mandoo was overly fried (think Chinese fast food take out restaurant sort of deal); avoid the frozen pieces of rice cake (there's 2 tiny pieces of rice cake plus a triangular piece of fish cake, and they don't grill well); the vegetable side was underwhelming (2 slices of mushroom, 1 slice of squash, 1 small triangular piece of tofu); the corn dogs were actually little mini bite sized corndogs that were also overly fried Ambience: The restaurant is spacious, clean, and modern appearing. It was great for a group dining experience. Overall, it was a decent AYCE experience but I would have preferred a wider selection on the AYCE menu. What a GREAT spot! Two friends and I enjoyed some Korean BBQ - $44.19 per person after tax and tips, all you can eat, and supposedly a 100 minute limit (they are pretty lax on this, plus you get pretty full by that time). Their bulgolgi beef and spicy pork bugolgi were our favorites, and we got 7 rounds of them!!! Their squid was also great because we barbecued them after the bugolgi (hence, there were still some oils on the pan to better barbecue it), and it tasted like an "aquatic bacon" with the grilling. We also got their teriyaki chicken, Hawaiian and wine pork belly (which turned out to be like bacon). The three that weren't as good were their shrimp, beef brisket, and Seoul grill steak. The shrimp had no flavor at all and was incredibly difficult to peel with the head and tail and all. Since we had to peel the shell, there wasn't any bbq flavor on the shrimp. The beef brisket also had no flavor bc it wasn't previously marinated - it came as rolls of meat that weren't seasoned. However! Their chimichurri sauce is awesome and was great to give it a boost of flavor. And their Seoul grill steak was just okay. There was seasoning and marinade, but the sort of meat wasn't one that soaked up a lot of flavor, so had to add a dash of chimichurri again. Overall, great experience! Would have wished they'd give us a limited edition of Kalbi or given us some japchae on the side. Their sides were great, especially kimchi and potato bits. read more

First time in North Carolina and I LOVE Korean BBQ, so I thought I'd try this place out cause the reviews were pretty good. Overall, this place is so nice, the service was good. They are very fast, and tech advance in there. I've never seen a KBBQ place so techy before. They have a robot that seats you, you push call button for service, all the bells and whistles. The ambiance was very nice and I like how the booths are blocked off so you get more privacy dining. My reason for the two stars is the food/quality. The food was so mid. Starting with the banchans, the kimchi actually tasted sour like it's 2 seconds away from going bad. The cheese corn had barely any cheese therefore no cheese pull which is the best part. The potatos and the salad was the only side dish up to par. I had a party of two and so we ordered AYCE and they brought out the smallest portions of meat each time we ordered. I've never seen that before, we would finish the meats in two bites. The brisket meat quality was so bad, i did not enjoy and brisket is usually my fav. We got the spicy bulgogi which was actually delicious. The Seoul steak, enjoyed that. We got chicken teriyaki which was actually good too. Then we ordered shrimp. They only give you either 2 or 4 pieces, no more. This place is slightly over priced from what I'm used to in Nova and the food isn't worth it to me. I get such good Korean food at hole in the wall spots in Northern VA so this was definitely a sad downgrade on my birthday. I think they need to put more effort into the food and not so much focus on tech & productivity. read more

Very Rude Manager. 1st after making over the phone reservation our table was not ready and we had to wait. Second, the manager was very rude telling our child to be quiet with his finger pointing his mouth while our child was crying because he saw the robot how it's moving so he was excited. After speaking to the manager, he basically saying that they don't want any children crying at the restaurant because it will interrupt the other tables. I always make sure to come around opening time to get seated quickly, whether it's lunch or dinner. The servers are also friendly and attentive; they changed the grill and took away empty dishes regularly. The food is amazing and fresh, and this is a spot worth checking out! Water, utensils, plates, napkins, and various Korean side dishes like kimchi, bean sprouts, and salad are already set up when you arrive at your table. I love the onion and pasta/potato salad side dishes, and I come so often that some servers know to have extra waiting at the table for me! The menu has so many proteins to choose from, as well as other dishes like steamed eggs and dumplings to eat alongside the meats. All of the meat looks and tastes fresh, and I love the aspect of grilling the meats myself to my personal preference. My favorites are the squid, Seol Steak, marinated shoulder blade, and Hawaiian pork belly. With AYCE, there are so many ways to craft the perfect bite for yourself by pairing meats and side dishes together. Super delicious food!! We had a reservation at 6 PM on Friday evening. When we arrived, it was packed and our table still wasn't ready so we got some drinks at the bar while we waited. The bartender was friendly and did a great job at keeping a smile on her face. Eventually, we were sat by the cute cat robot 15 minutes behind our scheduled time and all of the banchan were already neatly placed out on the table with the plate settings. The meats were fresh and marinated perfectly. The grills were also really nice and pretty much smokeless. Seol Grille definitely has more of an upscale feel to it, but the dipping sauces and banchan all come in such terribly small portions that it's just not ideal to eat here with bigger group. You can't skimp on everything when your customers are having an AYCE meat feast. Lydia was our server and she did a great job at accommodating to our many requests, wants, and needs. If you're reading this, we appreciate you, our banchan queen! The only reason I'm giving only 3 stars is because the napa kimchi wasn't fermented very well, being sat late, the portions of the banchan, and the price point of $40 per person. I would probably be willing to come back, but not with a group larger than three. read more

Food here is great, been going for a decade. However, I will no longer be dining at this restaurant. Yesterday, I placed an order at 6, got there at 7 (I was running late because of work), and when I went to pick up my food, the guy at the counter (after waiting 10min for someone to come to ghe counter) snarkily said "it's been a while". This is the second time I've picked up food, apparently not fast enough for him, and he's made a comment about it. He has no idea why someone may be a little later picking up food, and he shouldn't comment on it. What's the point in him saying anything? It's unprofessional and annoying. Ordered "all you can eat" 40$-100 min Will start with shortcomings : 1) We were 6 person at one table and had only one grill there. It's really not enough for big company. Because a grill is too small, we couldn't cook at the same time . Only 2-3 of us. Most of the time I waited for a free space on the grill , especially when the other people cooked a seafood. One grill perfect match maximum for four people. 2) I've been missing for vegetables!!!! Really. I ordered one plate with veggies, you have the only one option. But except of mushrooms , other veggies like pumpkin for example , isn't tasty on the grill. 3) There are moments when we just sat and waited for food with empty plates. Probably because of the occupancy level in the restaurant . But still felt weird. Advantages: 1) You have online waitlist in yelp, it's so cool. Just booked it when we was on our way. But you need to know that it was 90-120 waiting , was written in app) but we sat down just after 25 minutes. Need to know that , in another case you can miss your place. 2) The food was delicious!! Clean, fresh, tasty. A lot of different kinds of beef, chicken and pork. 3) Stuff was really nice. They changed the grill so many times for us, when it got dirty. 4) I liked the atmosphere there.
