This place is pretty good. Every time I eat there I'm happy. I wouldn't reccommend the salads and be cautious when you're making big orders that they get everything right. But they are great for grabbing and quick and yummy lunch or catering of a BIG sandwich for your workplace or event. The only reason I'm docking them one star is because I've had two instances where they messed up a LARGE order. So, if you're going in or ordering one BIG sandwich, they are awesome... if you have a big family or big to-go order -- careful! read more

Not bad sandwiches but makes you wonder if they know how to make them. I've ordered twice and the additional toppings are never on the whole sandwich. Not sure why... but you'll get one bite that has your hot pepper or horseradish , maybe an onion on one bite and tomato on the other, but never at the same time. Had the Pastrami and it was far from sensuous. First off what kind of sandwich shop doesn't have provolone? The entire sandwich was just thrown into a microwave at the end to heat it. Have you had microwaved bread? Pretty gross. The pastrami tasted like that super cheap thinly pre sliced stuff you get at the grocery store. read more

I went here because my favorite sandwich place (Bailey's) closed down. I got the Sensuous sandwich and it was pretty tasty. You can choose what toppings you want and if you want it hot or cold. One thing to watch out for is if you get it to go, they put it in a paper bag and the grease can seep through a bit so be careful. The lady that took my order was super nice. read more

This place sucks. First of all I found a hair in my sandwich, and although it was disgusting and I asked for a new sandwich, I will try to not let that sway my opinion. My experience was that they just had a bunch of high school kids working who had no idea what they were doing. My biggest complaint is that although they did put a lot of meat on the sandwich (which is a plus), the bread for the sandwich was just crappy white bread that was so crusty, which then absorbed the sauces/oils that I had, giving me a sandwich that was half crusty old white bread and half a soggy mess. The cheap lettuce/cabbage that they had was squished onto one side of the bread, and there was no option to upgrade to better quality lettuce or spinach. If you want a sub sandwich, just go to subway, pay the extra for the extra meat and get a better tasting sandwich, with better bread, better ingredients, and for a cheaper overall price. My wife and I even had a buy one get one half off coupon and it still wasn't worth it and still was more expensive than subway. read more

Sensuous is a neat little sandwich shop. They offer more customization than just about anyone--not only in what items come on your sandwich, but also in its exact size. Ever get tired of places where the small is too small but the large is too large? Here at SS, you can order a 4", 6", 8", 10" and so on, so you'll always get *exactly* what you want. It's fantastic. This is a new location, slightly to the south of their old place. The new building is much more open and airy, is well lit, has more tables for more patrons, and is just all around better in every way. I'm glad to see them continuing to do well. read more

Been coming here for years, they really have their s#!% together. New location has been great. They care so much about excellent customer service, they teach their employees to work hard and fast. They have laser focus to get your sandwich made quickly. They keep the place clean and tidy. They're friendly and have loyal regulars. They know their thing and they do it well. The sandwiches taste fresh and homemade. Bread is soft, ingredients are quality. It's a simple "hole in the wall" sandwich shop, but that's why it's so good. Don't expect overpriced, overrated subs like you get at chains. The french dip (Big Dipper) is amazing. Also love the satisfier, stimulator, and the super saucy. I'm updating my review because the new location is pretty sweet. I'm a kid at heart and love writing on the chalk board whenever I go there. The place now has cement floors, high ceilings, huge windows, bright walls and green apple colored seats...but still cartoons on every table. Lots of parking. It's a little more out of the way but I like that I don't have to play Frogger to get across the street to get in. So now...5 stars as the condition of the old place was my only negative mark from my previous review below... **************************************************** The sandwiches really are the best in Utah County. The place itself needs to be updated but the business model is to provide fresh bakery bread, fresh ingredients and quick service. Like another reviewer, I always find an excuse to take friends here because I know that it will be the best sandwich they've had. Most people get a 6" but even a 4" is a big sandwich. A lot of guys get a 12"...that's a lot of sandwich because it's full of meat and toppings. Almost every sandwich is good but I like the Spicy Enticer, hot with cream cheese, oil & vinegar with veggies including banana peppers. Hmmm, guess I'm going there for lunch today. LOL! You can call ahead for parties but make sure you ask for the oil and vinegar on the side so you can add it fresh at the party. read more

Sensuous sandwich? More like the grossest sandwich! Sandwiches aren't rocket science, but for some people it seems like it is. They don't know how to wrap their sandwiches so it's all falling apart in the bag. Plus the meat that they used look like, if not worse then that cheap budding sandwich meat. I couldn't bring myself to even try it, it looked like sandwich roadkill. Kids in Africa probably wouldn't eat this garbage. Don't go here. Sensuous is by far the best sandwich I have ever eaten. It's one of the things we miss most about moving to california. Whenever we come to visit we are sure to eat here. Theeeee WORST EVER!!!!!! I go in and order my Sandwhich, and I asked for cream cheese, and they forgot it. I'm a patient person. So they said they would make a new one, but instead they just cut slabs, and used the old one I gave them after they all touched it. Such poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Plus the Sandwiches are all messy and gross. Don't waste your time at this place. Would definitely recommend Gandolfos for sure. I worked at Sensuous Sandwich back when I was in college (mid 80's) and I never got tired of it. I have since moved away but we always make it a priority to eat there when we visit family in Utah. My favorite is the Seafood with cream cheese and vegies (no sauces) and heated. Wish I could have one now, LOL. Love the new location! read more

The Sensuous Sandwhich is my favorite and it's excellent hot or cold. It's hard to decide if it's the amazing bread, the delicious meat or the way they chop the veggies that make it so great but it doesn't even matter. Sensuous Sandwich is fantastic! I remember thinking "there's no way this much meat will taste good" when I first saw the sandwich, but it did. Their sandwiches have this amazing 'mouth feel' that makes you want to keep taking more bites. Just the right amount of dressings and bread. All the ingredients taste fresh and perfect - I am a stickler on tomatoes, since often the tomatoes on subs are tasteless and mushy, and SS nails them. I don't understand the negative reviews. This IS one of the best sandwich companies in the state. The only way they could get better is if they started to offer meatball sandwiches. I've been going to Sensuous since 1978 in Provo. So that makes it nearly 40 years. Our favorite is the Spicy Enticer. The price is very reasonable seeing all the meat and fillings they give you.
