I've been looking for a really good restaurant around here that sells Mexican food. I could not have been more satisfied. I only have one complaint... The service was very slow. It took forever to get my meal and even longer to check out. I will tell you it was worth it because the food was great. I love the way they make their fajitas and it was a lot of food so I guess I can't really complain. I can't wait to go back just because I like the atmosphere and the food so much. This is probably the best Mexican food I've had in Maryland. My husband and I are from CA so we're pretty picky. I always order el macho with the slaw on the side and extra pineapple. If you order the slaw on the tacos I find that there is too much lime on the tacos. They're flavorful, not filled with fat and I like having the side lettuce, pico, guacamole and rice. Just a good meal all around. My husband gets the carne asada burrito and seems to enjoy it a lot. We also really like the salsa and the pineapple margarita is awesome. We try to come here every couple of weeks. read more

Very good Service and very good food. The chips and salsa appeared quickly and were tasty but not great. The Senors Chile arrived shortly and it was delicious! Plenty of seafood in a red sauce served over a layer of poblanos chilies. Really tasty with just a little heat. The rice and refried beans made this a satisfying meal. I will be back, this menu looks like it has a lot of good dishes to try. The people at the table next to me said to try the fajitas so maybe that will be my next dish! read more

Absolute yumminess! I have been wanting to check out Senor's Chile for a bit now and all I can think of is I wish I had gone sooner. Everything was so yummy. Salsa with the chips was very fresh and flavorful. My margarita with pineapple and a hint of mango was the best margarita I've had in years. I wanted another, but we went for lunch... and it wasn't shy on the tequila. The birria tacos were my absolute favorite I've had in all of my hunting for the best birria taco. The shell was crunchy and held up well to the contents. The meat had the crispy bits of caramelization I hope, and those crunchy cheese bits too. The nachos we got with carnitas and that was so good too. The chips were not the same as the free ones you get when you sit down. They held up really well to all of the yumminess. The carnitas were great, with those same crispy bits the birria had. The guacamole was flavorful with enough acid/lime flavor. The jalapeños brought a briney note with some heat to the rest of the flavors. And the queso!!! I feel like queso goes wrong more than it goes right... but this queso new what was up! We will for sure go back. Maybe at dinner time, so I can have that second margarita read more

This restaurant just opened yesterday. I really loved the food. The service was quick on the to go order and they had a full dining room. Everyone was very friendly that worked there. I had the enchiladas Molé and they were fantastic. My kids both had quesadillas which were delicious although one comment was that it was a little heavy on the cheese. But of course many people like that anyway. We also tried the queso and fresh chips. We got the queso with chorizo in it, and it was really tasty. And I must say the chips were so good that you can eat them without the cheese and still be happy. My one reason that I did not give five stars is that it doesn't have a good waiting area for to go order people and The restaurant is very small and may be hard to get a seat. Other than that everything else was spectacular and it looked like it would be a great place to have a drink. read more

We love this place but our last take out order was very disappointing. Really not sure what happened.. we ordered multiple meals (family of 6) and nothing really came as what we ordered. You will need to see the pictures but the burrito was cracked open and the quesadilla was more of a bowel? Plus uncooked fires i the kids meals.. Pretty disappointed and really not sure what happened but not sure will we order take out in the future. read more

This small restaurant located in a strip mall is a true hidden gem!! We went for family dinner the food and costumer service was AMAZING!! My recommendation get the Guacamole.... get lots of guacamole!! The food was amazing everything tasted fresh and came out hot. I got the El Pescador which was absolutely fantastic. The sauce was the perfect balance to the dish and the seafood was cooked perfectly. My picky eater daughter ordered the Nachos and said "they were the best nachos she has ever eaten" (side note she is only 11). She also ate 2 bowls of Guacamole. Aside from the delicious food the decor was nice. I loved all the art work and the lighting was unique and added to the flare of the restaurant. We definitely will be returning soon. read more

I've stopped by here for takeout numerous times and each menu item I've tried has been ideal. I had trouble getting into birria until trying what Senor's Chile serves; the consome could be eaten by itself as a soup and is very fragrant with vegetables along with the tasty broth. The carne asada street tacos are exactly what I seek out, always trying to find anything that compares to what can be found all over San Diego; but I never tried birria in San Diego, so as far as I'm concerned the best you'll find around here is at Senor's Chile The enchiladas are great, but if you're not into all that sauce, the taquitos are a great alternative. The chicken is prepared thoughtfully before being rolled on the tortilla and whatever they're mixing in is the perfect amount of flavor that makes the meat tender but not soggy. read more

They have a huge selection, but on our server's recommendation we had the birria tacos. Amazingly tender and flavorful. Also had the mole enchiladas. One margarita. First time trying the place and the atmosphere was nice and nice to support small businesses. We tried the Tijuana fajitas, the quesadilla loca, the chicken nachos, the skinny margarita and the strawberry Basil margarita. The Tijuana fajita was good and would order again. The quesadilla loca was not my style literally two tortilla together with melted cheese and the topping on top of that. I enjoy a tradition quesadilla ALOT more. The two drinks were good for the taste but there was absolutely no alcohol in it unfortunately. I have heard the drinks here are normally amazing. I chose not to complain as our waiter was not the most hospitable. I will try this place again and adjust my review if I have a better experience. read more

It's okay. The fish tacos are really nothing special and both times I've come the food is not amazing. There is so much slaw on the tacos and the mangoes were still hard. We never got our chips refilled either. The birria tacos were pretty good though and a big portion. read more

The service was great, and the birria entree was to die for! But my sassy significant other and I started our experience with ordering the queso. My partner and I are queso addicts. I mean who isn't? We were extremely excited to try out the queso. After receiving the queso we thought we were living in a nightmare. The queso was cold, white, runny and oldy enough.....sweet. The only thing that came to my partners mind was wow this reminds me of s****. After my girlfriend tasted the first bite I tried it and couldn't agree more. But all in all highly recommended place.
