This location was not as good as the Severna park or arnold locations. Service was terrible and slow, chips and salsa had a funky taste, our food was good, but I would have rather gone to uncle Julio's. Hope they can step up their service next time! read more

A go-to local favorite! Quite pricey for the food, but it is very consistent. Every time I go, they push out delicious foods! The ambiance is fun, lively, and vibrant with colors. The music is moderately loud, but quiet enough to hear the person across the table. Service is good, staff is attentive and friendly. They may forget some stuff here and there, but who doesn't? read more

A marvel of marketing. Mediocrity in motion. Walk in and look around. Do you see any MesoAmericans eating there? Probably not. That's a bad sign. Now watch the cook at the flat top. He pulls out chicken, shrimp, skirt steak from the cooler. Unmarinated, just in it's raw, serving-portion form. PLOP. Onto the flat top. That's one side completely unseasoned. Not to worry, because the industrial oil gets poured on top and the season salt shaken liberally about. Is that enough? That should be enough. Listen, if you like it, good for you. It's fine. But that's all it is. Fine. read more

Has clearly gone down hill from when they first opened their doors. I feel as if they have opened so many locations it's more like your typical chain who doesn't care about the local community any longer. I have had better customer service at the Department of motor vehicles. They don't care about customers especially when they continually mess up carry out orders you are better off going to El Cabrito way better service, pricing, and food. read more

This is probably the best Mexican food I've had in Maryland. My husband and I are from CA so we're pretty picky. I always order el macho with the slaw on the side and extra pineapple. If you order the slaw on the tacos I find that there is too much lime on the tacos. They're flavorful, not filled with fat and I like having the side lettuce, pico, guacamole and rice. Just a good meal all around. My husband gets the carne asada burrito and seems to enjoy it a lot. We also really like the salsa and the pineapple margarita is awesome. We try to come here every couple of weeks. read more

Just ok. Nothing more, nothing less. My pork taco was super dry. I see others have mentioned this. Also everything is a little plain for me. Just a pork taco. No chiopotle mayo, hot sauce, nothing. read more

Very good Service and very good food. The chips and salsa appeared quickly and were tasty but not great. The Senors Chile arrived shortly and it was delicious! Plenty of seafood in a red sauce served over a layer of poblanos chilies. Really tasty with just a little heat. The rice and refried beans made this a satisfying meal. I will be back, this menu looks like it has a lot of good dishes to try. The people at the table next to me said to try the fajitas so maybe that will be my next dish! read more

They have Great food. They have Great staff. I'm always greeted and seated immediately and my order is promptly prepared.

I'll start with the food. It's excellent. Service at the restaurant is decent. Not great but not terrible either. Take out is a disaster. They rarely get the order right even if you go over it several times. Do not leave without checking every single container. Last time they charged us for two entrees and didn't give us either. We called and were told to just come back and pick it up. I tried to ask if they could just send it via delivery service and they hung up on me and refused to pick up. So we had to drive back again to get the order. However upon arrival they said someone else came to pick up which is impossible bc it was just our family's order. So we had to wait for them to make the order again. No apology. And noone ate together bc of this. Horrible customer service. read more

Absolute yumminess! I have been wanting to check out Senor's Chile for a bit now and all I can think of is I wish I had gone sooner. Everything was so yummy. Salsa with the chips was very fresh and flavorful. My margarita with pineapple and a hint of mango was the best margarita I've had in years. I wanted another, but we went for lunch... and it wasn't shy on the tequila. The birria tacos were my absolute favorite I've had in all of my hunting for the best birria taco. The shell was crunchy and held up well to the contents. The meat had the crispy bits of caramelization I hope, and those crunchy cheese bits too. The nachos we got with carnitas and that was so good too. The chips were not the same as the free ones you get when you sit down. They held up really well to all of the yumminess. The carnitas were great, with those same crispy bits the birria had. The guacamole was flavorful with enough acid/lime flavor. The jalapeños brought a briney note with some heat to the rest of the flavors. And the queso!!! I feel like queso goes wrong more than it goes right... but this queso new what was up! We will for sure go back. Maybe at dinner time, so I can have that second margarita read more

The food was honestly great! Everything I ordered was well above my expectations! The steak quesadilla had soooo much steak and the street tacos had an ample amount of protein. The service could be better(a little faster) in my opinion but nothing to sweat over. It's smaller than I expected but the restaurant is nice inside, you definitely feel comfortable coming in. Definitely coming back time and time again :) read more

This small restaurant located in a strip mall is a true hidden gem!! We went for family dinner the food and costumer service was AMAZING!! My recommendation get the Guacamole.... get lots of guacamole!! The food was amazing everything tasted fresh and came out hot. I got the El Pescador which was absolutely fantastic. The sauce was the perfect balance to the dish and the seafood was cooked perfectly. My picky eater daughter ordered the Nachos and said "they were the best nachos she has ever eaten" (side note she is only 11). She also ate 2 bowls of Guacamole. Aside from the delicious food the decor was nice. I loved all the art work and the lighting was unique and added to the flare of the restaurant. We definitely will be returning soon. read more

I've stopped by here for takeout numerous times and each menu item I've tried has been ideal. I had trouble getting into birria until trying what Senor's Chile serves; the consome could be eaten by itself as a soup and is very fragrant with vegetables along with the tasty broth. The carne asada street tacos are exactly what I seek out, always trying to find anything that compares to what can be found all over San Diego; but I never tried birria in San Diego, so as far as I'm concerned the best you'll find around here is at Senor's Chile The enchiladas are great, but if you're not into all that sauce, the taquitos are a great alternative. The chicken is prepared thoughtfully before being rolled on the tortilla and whatever they're mixing in is the perfect amount of flavor that makes the meat tender but not soggy. read more

Really great menu from authentic to tex mex options. Great service. Always clean and attentive. Terrific local neighborhood spot.

This restaurant just opened yesterday. I really loved the food. The service was quick on the to go order and they had a full dining room. Everyone was very friendly that worked there. I had the enchiladas Molé and they were fantastic. My kids both had quesadillas which were delicious although one comment was that it was a little heavy on the cheese. But of course many people like that anyway. We also tried the queso and fresh chips. We got the queso with chorizo in it, and it was really tasty. And I must say the chips were so good that you can eat them without the cheese and still be happy. My one reason that I did not give five stars is that it doesn't have a good waiting area for to go order people and The restaurant is very small and may be hard to get a seat. Other than that everything else was spectacular and it looked like it would be a great place to have a drink. read more

Okay, an update. Don't go here. And if you do, don't sit at the bar. That's where we like to sit. j/k The food has just gotten better and better. The specials always have something great. We love this place but our last take out order was very disappointing. Really not sure what happened.. we ordered multiple meals (family of 6) and nothing really came as what we ordered. You will need to see the pictures but the burrito was cracked open and the quesadilla was more of a bowel? Plus uncooked fires i the kids meals.. Pretty disappointed and really not sure what happened but not sure will we order take out in the future. read more

I lived in CA for more than 15 years then then moved to MD- which is mot exactly the capital of Mexican cuisine:). Senors chile is the bomb, authentic and healthy. My favorite is the veggie fajitas with added carne asada or chicken. So many veggies! Tacos are great- and the ultimate sign of good Mexican: great salsas. read more

It's a little restaurant that packs a lot of flavor and variety! Fast, friendly service, and a colorful, party atmosphere. They have a huge selection, but on our server's recommendation we had the birria tacos. Amazingly tender and flavorful. Also had the mole enchiladas. One margarita. One red sangria, so full of fruit I could tell myself I was practically eating a salad. So happy we found this place. It's a gem. read more

First time trying the place and the atmosphere was nice and nice to support small businesses. We tried the Tijuana fajitas, the quesadilla loca, the chicken nachos, the skinny margarita and the strawberry Basil margarita. The Tijuana fajita was good and would order again. The quesadilla loca was not my style literally two tortilla together with melted cheese and the topping on top of that. I enjoy a tradition quesadilla ALOT more. The two drinks were good for the taste but there was absolutely no alcohol in it unfortunately. I have heard the drinks here are normally amazing. I chose not to complain as our waiter was not the most hospitable. I will try this place again and adjust my review if I have a better experience. read more

This is a great spot for drinks and food. The Camarones a la Diabla is no joke. The spice is incredible. I have pretty much cycled through everything on the menu and it's all great. Definitely recommend this spot. Real deal mexican food. They even do chilaquiles off the menu which is my fave!

For years, my family wanted to go to the same old Mexican food restaurant because they liked the birthday celebration. I obliged, but was never impressed with the food. Then, I was introduced to Senor Chili's. Game changer! They have GREAT food. I've loved everything that I've had there. The Senor Chile, chili rellenos, all of the varieties of fajitas, carne asada...I could go on. The chips and salsa with guacamole are great, and always served with a smile. A great spot in Edgewater! read more

Great Tex-Mex restaurant nestled just off the beaten path. We drove half an hour to try it and have no regrets. The drinks are just as incredible as the food. The service was fantastic as well.
