    Beef tacos

The food was soooo good -- fresh, flavorful, and affordable. We came as a family and all left full and happy. Super kind staff and easy parking. Definitely coming back!

I got the taco combo. It's three tacos with beans and rice. For the taco, you can choose a different one for each taco. I chose the carne asada, shrimp, and the al pastor tacos. All the meats are well seasoned and in ample supply. They don't skip on the meats. The tortilla is small but great if you're watching your carbs. Lol. Don't forget to use the green sauce. The rice doesn't look like much but it's good. I wish there was a little more of it. There's definitely no flavor lacking in the black beans. It's just a touch too salty. I'll probably mix them with the rice for balance. I'm not sure what some of these veggies are. The big green pepper reminds me of a bell pepper. It has a little kick though. Maybe it's a jalapeño. This other veggie reminds me of a green onion but bigger and it's roasted it. Pretty tasty.

Cockroaches. Saturday December 9th, 2023. Upon entering the restaurant my first stop was the restroom, where I was greeted by a full grown cockroach relaxing on the sink. The bug didn't flinch when I turned on the light, I was obviously intruding. This was our third time eating at this location, while waiting for tacos we enjoyed Horchata before we noticed baby cockroaches crawling on the back of our booth chair back. We canceled our order without explanation and the waitress let us leave without paying for our drinks. That was nice.

I tried this place randomly. I was craving tacos and wanted some like back home! They were amazing! I ordered on my way there so when I arrived I did wait a little while longer. But the lady at the counter was nice. The space is a bit crowded. It's located inside a gas station so the table placement seems a bit weird. I took mine home. Overall I would definitely order the tacos again!

I order through doors dash my food came cold and I mean in understandable sometimes for the food to come cold but still I also didn't receive my chips and queso and on top of that I order flautas which online it said it was supposed to come with beans and rice also but I didn't even get no bean no rice and I got these burrito looking things. Not what it seem like on the picture they have online. Need to be careful with how you pack your orders because we customers are paying for the food that we want and it's not like it's free.

I got the birria Quesadilla they were so good I've been here 2 times and always get the same thing comes out fresh and hot

Really good food came here 2 times already and always get the same thing comes out fresh and hot they have a variety of things on the menu

I asked the rice and beans be separate from the tacos but they didn't understand. Otherwise, very authentic and delicious... .

Great tacos, great fried fish (can be a bit over-fried) , and excellent tortas. I only give this 4/5 stars because no one speak English and frequently 'special requests' or just customized requests are frequently not relayed to the kitchen. Causing either a delay when getting the items because you have to ask for something or something as simple as not giving but one salsa with 4 tacos. Overall, this is a very authentic restaurant. They consider me a gringo. But, I've lived in El Paso, Tijuana and San Diego so I do know a bit about this food. All in all this would be five stars if they just paid more attention to requests for separation of food or the type of salsa someone wants. The following photo shows my issue. I said please put rice and beans SEPARATE as you see that wasn't honored even though it was said to be... otherwise excellent , authentic, Mexican food. But, there is preferential treatment for people the ' restaurant' is familiar with. Thank you

Carnitas taco and fish taco with rice and beans on the far plate. Carnitas tacos, chorizo, and carne asana on the close plate.

I eat a lot of Mexican food and this is easily the best I've tasted for Miles around. Birria enchiladas were off the hook. And the salsa there is fantastic! Just a couple more notes about pricing though, because I think it's worthwhile to mention: there is no lunch menu. Most Mexican joints have a lunch menu, with smaller sizes and lower prices. not here. The portions are very generous so be prepared to get a dinner menu and to-go box. And I ordered a draft Mexican beer and got a 24 ounce glass for nine dollars. I think this is another attempt to raise your check. Most places will give you the option of a 16 or 24 ounce. Yes these are nitpicks, but I'm not complaining because the food is so freaking good.

The street tacos are the real deal: fresh tortillas, generous portions, and the kind of flavor that makes you order a second round before you've finished the first. The al pastor is spot on and the salsa actually has some heat to it, which I respect. Chips hit the table fast, service was friendly without being over the top, and the margaritas don't disappoint either. If you're in the Annapolis area and want solid, authentic Mexican food without a lot of fuss, this place earns a permanent spot in the rotation.

My girlfriend and I were staying for a night at the Gibson's Inn just a block away and so we stumbled upon this place just from walking around. Glad we came here for dinner. Excellent little corner restaurant and cocktail bar. There was live music in the corner while we were there, dim lighting, nice decor, friendly service, and the pièce de résistance: a phenomenal meal. My girlfriend had the blackened mahi burger, and I had the steak burrito, stuffed to capacity, drenched in red sauce and crema, exquisitely prepared and presented. Washed down with a local IPA. We went on the early side, about 2:30, and were seated immediately. Our waitress was a lass named Ariana, who couldn't have been nicer. We ordered drinks, and they came quickly.
