This place is a family favorite! Tableside guac, good margs and lots of variety. Many Mexican restaurants I've been to lately have gotten rid of a "combo" option but Mi Pueblo has tons of them!

Tried this place on a Sunday evening and there were 6 of us. 4 Adukts and two children. The cuisine and service was excellent. The food was very fresh and well prepared. We had combination dishes and quesadillas. The kids meals were good too Everything was served quickly including the bar drinks. Portions were perfect with very reasonable prices. Fun atmosphere took for a family. We will be back for sure. If you like Mexican food, I recommend this place in Severna Park .

Our go-to place in Severna Park for amazing margaritas and expansive menu. Great service, the food is delicious, consistent and a great value. It's a large restaurant with a lot of tables, so the ambiance can be busy, but fun.

Just a small update from a more recent visit. Three of us ate lunch here in December of 2021 on a Monday right around the time they opened. Chips and salsa came immediately. We ordered Huevos con Chorizo (two scrambled eggs, Mexican sausage, rice, fried beans, tortillas), Chori Pollo (grilled chicken strips, chorizo, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream), and a Chicken Quesadilla with lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. The food was great - no problems there. Unfortunately, the service here is still not that great. The server we had was pleasant, but pretty much disappeared after we ordered. No one checked in to see if everything came out okay. We had to flag down our server for refills, and even that took quite some time. By the time we got our food, there was only one other party in the restaurant, so they weren't busy by any means. We also waited for a while for someone to come by with the check and to-go boxes, but we had to flag our server down for that as well.

I got a haircut and hair color at hair cuttery nearby and I was famished after a 4 hr. Process. I'd been meaning to try this spot so I wanted something good since I love Mexican. I decided to order a salad for caloric reasons. I ordered the grilled chicken and grilled shrimp salad. I also love guacamole so I got the guacamole and chips with salsa. My order was ready in less than 15 min so I was famished and happy! I enjoyed the salad wirh grilled chicken..it was a great portion but only 6 grilled shrimp..that was the usual amount but I was disappointed in the guacamole..it tasted like the one out of the grocery store and the chips were hard. Disappointed the salsa was ok and they gave me packets of Caesar dressing.. to me these are the worst kind because the dressing packets are laced with soybean oil and sugar and lots of additives....I was looking for more authentic dressing and guacamole...maybe I'll try the fajitas or something more homemade next time. And the croutons were a no no on my salad from a Mexican restaurant! I was looking for more innate ingredients ....

Authentic Mexican Food. I love the guacamole. Made fresh, right before your eyes. The drinks are so good. The food is great.

My husband and I went in for dinner this evening. It was our first time eating at Mi Pueblo. We meant to try it for quite some time after hearing numerous recommendations from friends. Upon arrival we were greeted quickly and brought to a table. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. We tore through two baskets of chips and salsa which were delicious. The salsa had good flavor and was not spicy. We ordered the appetizer chicken quesadilla. The taste was good but the pieces of chicken inside were large strips which made cutting the quesadilla to share nearly impossible. When I tried cutting it in half I pretty much mutilated the quesadilla. It was not served with any condiments such as salsa or sour cream which I expected. I had the chicken fajitas while my husband ordered the mixed fajitas (chicken and steak). He really enjoyed his. Mine weren't terrible but I have had better. The rice and beans were good but I was confused by the large slab of tomato on the condiment plate. I have always had some sort of pico de gallo when ordering fajitas. We ordered the churros to go. We ate them as soon as we arrived home. I am pretty sure the inside of the churro was not cooked all the way. The consistency was a little odd. The outside of the churro tasted normal but the inside was off. After ordering, they were brought out way too quickly for them to have been made fresh so maybe they sat around for a bit. The server paid close attention and we did not need anything during our meal. Payment was taken quickly. The prices weren't bad but I still can't figure out what the rave was about I always heard.

I want to give half stars because it's really more of a three and a half. I was craving guacamole and something in a mole sauce and this is the only place nearby that has mole enchiladas. The service was good, as always. They've got a bustling carry out business going which makes my heart happy given all the COVID chaos. So we got the table side guacamole which is a sizable portion. That's important. So many places when you order it you get like a half a cup. Not cool. This is a lot. And made it order. I got mole chicken enchiladas which I've always enjoyed there. Good mole sauce and topped with my extra guacamole. Hubby got the chimichanga, a standby of his. We forced our heathen child to get the kids taco and enchilada meal. He begrudgingly ate it. No churros for you buddy even if you can roll that R properly.

A rating for a "could've been better" experience. My husband and I have dined at the Mi Pueblo (I?) on ritchie highway in Glen Burnie. Not sure of both are related but this location could have been much better. We stopped in for an early dinner since we were in the area. Service was good. Speed on getting food was good. Cleanliness of site was good. Food was meh. I ordered a combo dinner- beef taco and chicken enchilada which comes with rice and beans. The whole dish was bland. No flavor. My favorite part of getting the combo dished is because of the rice and beans.... and they were just so so boring. Plenty of other local restaurants that I will plan to visit before considering here again.

Went for an early Saturday dinner while in the area, had absolutely no wait and very quick service. Margarita was cold and good, while the food was equally good. My go to order is El Campesino as it has shrimp, steak, chicken and cactus with a orange sauce smothering everything that ties it all together. My only complaint is that the mens bathroom was in dire need on a cleaning, but who is going to a Mexican restaurant for the bathroom.

This chicken fajita dish was delicious! So were the chips and salsa. We went for lunch so the portion size was perfect! The only issue was that we waited for our waters and to place our order. Sometimes lunch breaks are only an hour so it's important to be timely. Luckily I was on vacation so it didn't matter so much. :)

It's a small place compared to a few of the larger places in our area, but that's just fine. This restaurant is worthy of your time! I was looking for something out of the norm and I was not disappointed! From the moment we walked in to lively to the wonderful aromas, we knew this was going to be a stellar experience! We were greeted promptly and told we could pick a table. We were promptly brought menus and asked for what drinks we wanted. I opted for a Tropical Pina Margarita and hubby got Sandia Chile Margarita. Came very quick and we liked them so much we got another. We could have stopped at the house made salsa that had a smoky flavor and didn't look like it was poured from a jar in the back. The chips were outstanding. We opted to get some queso dip and it was just as good! Better than any other place we have had it. For dinner, my hubby opted for the Cameron Tacos on corn tortillas as he is a celiac. He remarked that it was the first time that he had corn tacos that were *solid*-meaning the taco stayed in shape and didn't fall apart while eating. The slaw was crispy, not overpowering, the pico de gallo was spicy, but not in the burn your tongue sense. He also liked the accompanying black beans and rice. I had Michelin Tacos. The first bite of mine was a bacon wrapped shrimp in a flour taco with a very pleasing sauce. The second one I had was chicken and it was just amazing. Nice slices of chicken with a pretty spicy sauce. Since I'm a big fan of spicy, this was amazing! The last one was steak, and I mean a nice piece of steak! Very tender, not overcooked! I couldn't tell you my favorite, because they were all equally delicious. Juan took very good care of us! Great evening and we will most certainly be back! To all of you that may like the *larger restaurants* on Ritchie Highway, please do yourself a favor and seek one of these stores out! We live closest to the Severna Park location, but all the stores seem to get good feedback! This is so out of the ordinary and definitely worthy of your time!

They handed me this thing off chips with salsa that was enough for five regular people or two Joshuas. The chips were good, fresh, slightly warm. The salsa was fantastic, though a little cilantro forward for someone who thinks it's soap. I ordered a chicken chimichanga for my main. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what came out qualifies as a chimichanga -- it wasn't deeply fried (or baked), and was covered with a cheese sauce like a smothered burrito. Maybe someone sent me the wrong thing? I don't bite. But, it was delicious. The sauce actually greatly complemented everything, and it was evenly seasoned. I'll definitely be back the next time I pass that way.

I'm not sure if there was supposed to be chicken in it, didn't find any. It was corn, beans, tomatoes and a thin stock. Soup was lukewarm, not hot. Dressing on top looked attractive. Chips were the best part. I got the drunken shrimp tacos which I expected more from. Three small tacos and a small lukewarm serving of rice. Platter could have been filled out with beans, chips and a heavier serving of condiments on the tacos instead of the barren looking plate for $16.50 We also got the Queso Fresco Chicken Tacos... bland overcooked chicken. The salsas were good. Small side of rice. $15.50 There are a lot of Mexican places to compare to and it is very easy to fill out a plate with inexpensive ingredients like rice, beans, cheese, salsa, limes and fresh herbs... these platters had very little of that. Just underwhelming for a $48 quick lunch (40 + tip) that left us unimpressed with quantity and quality. I'll try this place again some busy summer day when the margaritas are flowing and the kitchen is busy. Perhaps this was just because we went on a slow winter day, but I expected more. It looks like a fun bar on a crowded day. Plenty of room and festive decorations.
