Two house special pho with the free drink Thai tea
    Audrey C.

Togo the food 08/22/25 -For twelve dollars per pho, it's super great!!! It was hard to hear over the phone when I placed an order for take out. The service was amazing quick and so kind. I remember that it used to be another pho place before it became the new place. The inside is remodeled and seems to have a great atmosphere. Tried the soup and I didn't even put hosin sauce or siracha I usually put a lot lol. It pairs well with the pickled garlic. Definitely will come again!!!!! They do give a lot of meat too

See's Saigon finally has their sign up as I visit there for a fourth time!! Food is consistent and good so my previous review still applies in this case. Service seems faster now, at least on my fourth revisit though to be fair, we ordered for to-go. Phone line may be a hit-or-miss though, as we called with two different phone numbers and it went directly to voicemail. I am not sure of the case here. Anyways we came and ordered in person, then browsed around local shops, and came back to pick up our order. I still recommend eating here if you are on a budget. Food is good. Still recommend Red rice and half a chicken or Shaken beef and red rice.

Replacing "Lang 8" and "S365 Veggie" is See's Saigon with attractive pricing; most "entrée" items are $12. Older owner Lady is attentive; young servers a bit unacquainted with front-of-the-house tasks, hopefully this will improve post soft-opening. Noodle soups are well-prepared with heaps of veggies and herbs on-the-side. Overall, great value for the price! Oh, free drinks during soft opening :) Parking is plentiful. We will be back to try other items!

Mai Phat still exceeded them! It has since become our go-to lunch spot, as well as a local favorite for my wife's family. They specialize in egg noodles - served either dry (with broth and main protein on the side) or wet like a conventional soup bowl. My personal go-to is the dry mì sủi cảo - egg noodles with sliced / ground pork, huge wonton dumplings, a shrimp cracker, and broth on the side. The wontons come in a super rich and delicious sauce that I actually got scolded for pouring over my noodles lol. The light and clear broth is very refreshing and well-seasoned. Excellent mix of perfectly balanced flavors from every component. Add chili crisp for extra oomph. My wife loves the mì gà quay - fried chicken leg & thigh with the signature egg noodles. This is honestly one of the most perfectly seasoned and cooked fried chicken I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of fried chicken. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive Highly recommend Mai Phat for hearty, expertly crafted, and relatively guilt free Vietnamese comfort food

We waited probably around 15 minutes and there were about two or three other parties before us. Be sure to sign in on the notepad. There are a few plastic stools in the front. While you're waiting, they will take your order to add it to the queue for the kitchen. When our turn was up, we were seated at small table for two. I noticed another gentleman by himself at a table for four people. Hmmmm. Anyhow, there were about five tables total inside or maybe six. It was very warm inside since there is no AC. This is a type of life where you eat and leave as quickly because it's a no-frills no ambience type of place. That's fine with me except it was pretty hot. They charge you a dollar for a little tiny paper cup of water. I ordered the number one since this is their specialty or what they're known for. My mom had the bun thit nuong cha gio. My noodle soup had a good amount of crab pieces and shrimp. It seemed like there was not a lot of noodles though. I thought the broth was a little bland. I guess I'm just not a big fan of this type of soup. If there is a next time, I'll try the bun rieu. My mother was not that crazy about her dish. She said she didn't really like the egg rolls that much. For the price, the wait and the taste of the food, I likely will not be returning when there are so many other places in the area. I try to support various mom and pop restaurants, but for the previous stated reasons, I don't think we'll be back.

So cool that I just discovered Westminster has a location too! What's even better is that they have outdoor seating which means dogs are allowed! That's a HUGE plus for me. My go to is always the soup thick egg noodle and thin vermicelli noodle with assorted meat and shrimp. I also like to order the egg and rice cake for the table. Each dish is about $14. Portions seem a bit smaller than the San Gabriel and Rosemead location but it gets the job done and I am pretty full after the meal. They have so many other options on the menu like chow fun, hainan chicken, and a ton of other noodle soup dishes. The last two times I came here was on a weekday during lunch so there was plenty of parking. However, I'm sure it gets packed on the weekend since it is located right next to the Asian Garden Mall. All tax is included in the price so there's no additional sales tax line item. Also! They charge 50 cents for water.. other locations do not. I was surprised but oh well.

The restaurant was not busy at all, nice and quiet, great service of course since it wasn't busy. I ordered grandma's dry egg noodles and they have one of the best dry noodles I've ever had since moving to OC. They put the perfect amount of sauce, some places don't have enough sauce for the noodles. Also had plenty of protein. I added an order of wonton's which is an additional charge but well worth it. The broth on the side is so refreshing! What I love most is that this restaurant is still very affordable, $10.99 for a bowl of dry noodles is amazing. Definitely a returning customer!

I picked the Sò Lông Nướng Mỡ Hành & it was really good. But then I felt something hard when I was chewing & I think I chipped part of my tooth - I'm going to go home & have my boyfriend check it for me & I'll attach the photo of my chipped tooth. Anyway, I have a crown cap so I wasn't super alarmed, but still a bit shook. I still finished my food but I politely tried to let one of the cashiers know. I showed him & everything & he was apologetic & asked what they could do to fix the situation. So I asked for a refund. And the other cashier said in Vietnamese something about me, like "Con nhỏ này" & I thought maybe he's talking about something else-but then when he gave me the receipt of my refund, he said "and I don't want you to be a customer here anymore." I was very appalled and I stood there wondering if he really just said that to me after I had an experience. I asked him why he didn't want me to be a customer anymore. And he turns to a customer to ring them out, ignoring me. So I waited til he was done with that transaction & repeated my question. He flat out said "because you're annoying." WOW. That's just so rude. And unfortunate bc I thought the food was really good & wanted to come back for the clam & the sweet corn milk. So I definitely wouldn't want to be a customer anyways with that kind of attitude towards a customer. Btw they give you plastic utensils here even for dining in which is a con.
