Ordered their advertised Honeycomb toffee Iced latte. The customer in front of me ordered the same drink, without sugar- but because the clerk mis-heard her order; the clerk decided to hand me her drink order instead; staff claimed we both order the same thing anyways. I wasn't too keen with the clerk's explanation, but still decided to take the drink. Drink itself is nothing special; the toffee piece melts into the bitter coffee drink and that's about it. Because I preferred my latte's on the sweeter side. I didn't enjoy the bitter after taste of my latte after the melted honeycomb piece. I already left the store and did not bother going back just to ask for more sugar. read more

Came here to grab a mochi bread since this is one of the few bakeries on 86th street that sells it. Loved the soft and chewy texture but found it a bit overpriced for such a small bun. It's even more expensive if you opt for one of the flavored varieties. New and modern interior but very small and only a limited amount of baked goods available. read more

I stopped by Seeher Bakery when they first opened back in November. The space was very clean and modern, and the staff were lovely. I ordered a mochi bread ($3.50) and the Camelot Latte ($6.25) that they recommended. The latte came with several chunks of honeycomb toffee, and was on the milkier side. I ordered it iced, but I think I would enjoy it more hot with the honeycomb toffee. I also tried an Osmanthus Latte ($6.25), which was quite nice served hot, but the osmanthus honey was all the way at the bottom and only perfumed the second half of the drink. I did feel the coffee was well-caffeinated but the mochi bread was really hard and lacked any bit of chew. Nonetheless, I am happy to support a local bakery open up and am happy to return to try another drink. Seeher also seems to produce higher quality baked goods on par with those of Tous Les Jours and Paris Baguette, with Asian focused flavors like earl grey, red bean, and matcha. read more

Ordered brown sugar coffee. Expresso was a little overpowering. Also got their red bean bun which was average. The pork foss with seaweed is pretty good; similar to sponge cake covered in pork foss. Atmosphere: quiet, calm. read more

I am not sure I love their cakes, though it is cute and their small cakes are great to ensure no leftovers! They have interesting fillings such as boba in addition to whatever fruit fillings they have, but overall the cake seems to be on a sweeter side which I feel most people are moving away from nowadays. read more

Came here after dinner on a Saturday 7:30pm and it was nice and quiet. I like the modern feel of it. Ordered a fresh watermelon slushie for the kids which they enjoyed. Had their taro mochi. Liked that it was a lot of filling and not overly sweet and light. I prefer the matcha one though. Also ordered their fluffy earl grey bread to make french toast! Can't wait to see how it taste! I passed by this bakery many times and finally got the chance to try their bakery and drink items. The interior is cozy and warm. There are many seats for customers to sit and enjoy their food. From first glance, their selections are diverse and unique; flavors such as matcha, red bean, earl grey, walnut, purple rice on display. I visited early morning and didn't want something too sweet, instead something light and satisfying. I got the earl grey twisted bread and walnut cream bun. I also got the super persimmon drink since it's in season! I was disappointed by the lackluster flavors. The breads were big but flavors were not there. Earl grey could have been more potent. The walnut bun was slightly sweet but did not have cream as the display claimed it to have. Service was fast: the bread is already prepared but the drink takes 5-10 minutes to make. read more

Shop is cute. Service is great. Staff is attentive. I love bakeries and walking into a new one is like walking into an amusement park for me. So far I have only tried the persimmon drink out of their whole menu but I really like it. They normally add a little bit of green tea to it but it can also be left out if requested. I actually prefer it from here over JOOY. The breads, I have tried a couple. Namely, the taro salted egg bun and the earl Grey. They were not as good as I expected and could still use some work. I was really excited when I saw the options but the flavors were kind of dull, too subtle maybe. Texture-wise, it was more dry and hard compared to the other bakeries. Due to the texture and lack of flavor, I would still prefer TLJ or older places that like to experiment like Lily Bloom. read more

New bakery around 86st! It's relatively small but there are seats inside. Cute and modern vibe and the staffs are super friendly! I've been stopping by multiple times to try different items. Some of my favorites were the blueberry basque cheese cake (big hit for my family too), earl grey toast, green tea strawberry cake, tiramisu, and taro mochi bun. We tried this cute bakery for the first time today. We enjoyed their Match mochi bun, Japanese red bean bun, and more. I want to come back and try more of their stuff again. But there's one thing I can't understand. They are Chinese, and why do they pretend they are Japanese? They sell a couple of different kinds of square-shaped loafs, which they call "toast," even if they are not toasted. We bought the Milk toast and its bag has the nonsense Japanese message. They try to say "Fresh and tasty toast," but one Kanji 漢字 is missing (imagine like it says Resh and tasty...) and doesn't make sence, and, as I mentioned before, it is not toasted and they call the loaf "toast." I guess the owner misunderstands that Japanese people call square-shaped loafs toast (they are called "pan" or "shokupan" and when it's toasted, called "toast.") I hope the owner will correct the massage on the bags to 「新(this Kanji 漢字 is missing) 鮮で美味しいパン」(even this sounds weird though), or write it in Chinese. Their breads are good and should be proud of a Chinese bakery. They don't need to pretend to be Japanese. read more
